I never took the time to actually walk the entire park when downtown. It was truly relaxing to get out during the middle of the week and early afternoon. Sultry, poetic vibes were in effect.

Located on the north side of Hermann Park, is a good landmark for a meeting spot. Its near the reflecting pool and pond so it has lots of foot traffic around.

The place itself is usually very nice! Ita great for walking around, and Hermann Park and the Japanese Garden are right by so you can visit. There are very little homeless and if there are any they dont bother anyone. The Pioneer Memorial Obelisk has some interesting history but I wont be coming anymore just to visit the obelisk since the meaning behind it is not the best.

The Obelisk was a symbol that Egyptians used to Honor the God RA. Romans began taking this Obelisk statue or sorts, back to Rome. Many cities around the world have adopted this practice to celebrate religious beliefs. America is no different. Obelisks represent Power, Beauty and the belief in a Devine God.

Nice place to relax with family and children from all city hustle and bustle, with a nice jogging track along the water.. with beautiful oak trees in surroundings and fountains. One can also enjoy peddle boating and fishing in the lake, you can also enjoy some wild squirrel playing arround the oak and Pam trees and children can enjoy beautiful species of ducks.
