Wonderful place to go for some solid tex-mex. Staff served us with great professionalism and then some! Parking: Parking was good, enough parking spots to reasonably fit everyone during peak hours. Kid-friendliness: They offered high chairs and a kids menu.

Carol the server was kind of rude because we didnt order her recommendations. I feel like she was told to push the specials, because she was acting like a high pressure sales person instead of just accepting that we didnt want it. She dismissed our choices as if we were making a mistake by not ordering what she wanted us to buy. Nobody wants a ghost pepper drink! I literally cannot tolerate spicy food and no means no! Sorry but she was kind of obnoxious about it. Otherwise everything was great

By far the worst customer service ever, we got to the restaurant about 845 they close at 9 I got no problem with that, the host didnt tell me that, she told us go to the bar and sit, ok but the bar said they were closed, I call BS on both I will never visit your Houston restaurant ever! First time there and the Food was horrible and also over priced for the amount that is served! Fajita was not well cooked everything tasted like it was straight out of a can no flavor no seasoning at all, first and last time I ll never go there again! Not your traditional Mexican restaurant. Its a Tex-Mex, if its your first time like myself youll receive a sample of their choice menu item . I started off with a strawberry margarita, it was ok, it had a after taste from the added flavoring. I tried the puff tacos with refried beans. The Tortillas are homemade, it added a great touch. It comes with ground beef, avocado, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. Only thing missing was the sour cream. The salsa and charro beans while you wait was a hit .

My fiancé and I recently placed an order at Lupe Tortilla for pickup at 1:30 PM after placing the order at 11:00 AM. However, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite arriving promptly at 1:30, we ended up waiting for over 30 minutes, only to be told that our order wasnt ready. The lack of communication regarding the delay was frustrating enough, but what truly irked us was the managers response. Instead of offering an apology or any form of acknowledgment for the inconvenience, he brushed off the situation with a nonchalant things happen attitude. When I pointed out that the restaurant wasnt even at full capacity, the managers excuse of having only one kitchen open seemed feeble and inadequate. Overall, the service at Lupe Tortilla left much to be desired, and we left feeling thoroughly dissatisfied and disappointed with our experience.

I went here for lunch in the middle of a weekday. It was got busy really fast, but we were tended to right away. Our waitress was sweet and knowledgeable. The manager even stopped by our table to check in us. Overall, the food was good. We got enchiladas and it came with a chalupa and rice and beans. Amazing food. Carol was very kind and found alternates for us since we are vegetarians and replaced some of the items in our order with pure veg (to ensure no meat broth or otherwise was in the food). All in all very good experience though I messed up on my side on the receipt and ended up taking both customer copy and merchant copy with us by mistake. Carol didn t get her well deserved tip unfortunately which I realized while I was going thru my receipts after getting back to Indianapolis. Yet to call them back and hopefully fix that. Lupe Tortilla was known for the quality of its fajitas. It seems that reputation may be at risk since it appears the quality of the fajita meat has gone down. While the flavor was still there, the meat felt old, was chewy, and dry. I was disappointed with it and didn t even finish it. I ordered a dish that I was familiar with from some years ago but it comes only with chicken now and I wanted beef . Have been here Before. Pretty good place.Got takeout for first time 12/30/2023. Ordered bacon wrapped shrimp dinner. The bacon was completely raw white uncooked on every shrimp. Got a gallon of frozen margaritas. Waaayyy too much triple sec or something. Too too sweet ,has zero tequila taste.,sadly undrinkable ,but will ,it cost 50 bucks a gallon . Had a catered meal at WT Byler in the Greenpoint area and the cheese enchiladas tasted like they were made yesterday. They were tough and the cheese was not prominent. Disappointed to say the least. I eat at Lupe Tortilla in west Houston off Hwy 6 and I10. For the prices that are charged by Lupe Tortilla I would expect better preparation and execution. Get your act together.

We went with another couple at 6:30 pm on Saturday, November 25th. It was not busy at all but we still had some of the worst service. I had to ask three times for a glass of water, the other couple ordered fajitas and they didn t get some of their sides, plates, or tortillas. She had to get up and find someone other than our server to provide these items. When the manager came to ask how it was, she had just gotten her food and told him you really don t want to know it s been awful. He shrugged his shoulders said something to the effects of oh well and walked away. We went to this location a while back and there was a full out brawl with a chair thrown in the bar area, needless to say, we will not be returning.

Nobody does it like this location!! Food and service were on point. I enjoyed the steak and enchiladas ... emphasis on enjoyed. I have not had a bad experience at the north fwy/airtex location. Food
