We ordered 2 fish and shrimp dinners with a baked potato.The fish was mushy wet mushy like mashed potato on the inside and the baked potatoes were cold I ended up paying $32 for this meal.Fish also had a freezer burn taste.

I like to support local restaurants and I am not sure if today was an off day here for the restaurant. The fried pickles were the best of the whole meal. I would definitely change the review if the food and service were enhanced. Parking: Lots of space Wheelchair accessibility: Had access.

In a world gone mad with post COVID-19 diminishing quality of service and shrinkflation, Baytown Seafood is a lighthouse guiding diners to a safe harbor of quality and value. I had the three-piece fish dinner, and it is everything it should be. The fish is fried perfectly, leaving it with a beautiful balance of moisture and flakiness. The batter is delicious, and the light crunch compliments the moist and flakey fish. Three giant pieces of fish for $10 is a steal. The fact that they add a massive platter of fries and a generous side salad is welcome reprieve from today s oppressive shrinkflation (increasing prices combined with shrinking servings/product). If you are in the area and find yourself lost on your search for quality fried fish at a price that won t force you to eat ramen for the next three days, then come on in. Though, even the price of ramen is crazy these days. But, don t take my word for it. Seek out the warm blue neon of Baytown Seafood, and find out for yourselves. Workers aren t cleanly. Food was cold, and the cashier coughed in her hand and served food with that same hand without washing them. This is why sickness spreads. I Will definitely not return or recommend.

The first time I ate here. The fish is the worst I ever had. Fish is not crunchy,soggy, falling apart. Fries were put under the salad and soggy. The gumbo is like broth ,hardly anything in there. Will never eat here again.

Well I didnt even get to eat their food because I called in my order over the phone. I asked for the fried catfish which they had on their online menu. They told me they dont sell cat fish fillets, they only sell the whole catfish with bones. Smh. Okay, thats fine. Ill take 5 of your cheeseburger baskets. I make the order, 5 minutes later I get a call back saying they dont have enough meat to fulfill the order. How do you not have enough hamburger meat ??? JUST LOSSED A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!

Usually do dine in. Always a good experience. Today, did carry out. I specifically asked for cocktail sauce aka red sauce for some of my order. Said I like lots of it. Well...guess what? Didnt get any. I got a small tiny bit of tartar sauce. I detest tartar sauce. Thank goodness the food is good or the meal would have been ruined for me. Otherwise, it was okay. Its was quiet, one waiter. Fried Fish, shrimp, grilled fish and fried pickles were good. My friend vegetables were hard. I asked for my vegetables to be steamed to just soften but they came back soggy and in pieces. Fried okra has no flavor, stuffed crabs only tasted like the vegetables used to make stuffing but no taste. Dont order the dirty rice, dont. Salad was fresh. Boudain balls were ok. Prices reasonable $$ still wouldnt come back. Only stumbled across this place

Food: I frequent this establishment about once a month. I have called and placed orders and eaten inside the restaurant without any real problems. However, today I ordered a prawn salad and the prawns were good as always. I couldnt enjoy my meal the way I would have liked because whoever made my salad seemed to throw it together. It had a lot of lettuce and cabbage heads which are very bitter. The pickles were of different sizes and shapes which made me think they threw away what they had to make my salad. I asked for Italian dressing but I dont know why they gave me ranch instead. Services: The young woman who greeted me seemed nice, but the other lady, who could be the manager, was not nice. She never smiled and it seemed like maybe she was upset about something. I dont know, but I hope next time it will be better. Ill give them another chance because maybe today was a bad day Atmosphere: The restaurant was clean as usual and there were only 3 people when I arrived and 2 when I left. Its relatively quiet because there arent many people whenever Im there.

This is truly a family restaurant. My son and I have been back several times in the past few weeks. Its a great little spot to take your family, where they treat you like family, and its ran by a great family of employees. I honestly dont think Ive had a bad meal and weve always had a great experience entertained by our amazing waitress Allison. I suggest you try a little of everything. You never know what you will consider your new favorite dish.

Si we went in and everyone was super nice. However shortly after being seated my buddy had a roach crawl off the table on his arm. He flung it off and we looked over at a table across the way to see two more roaches crawling across the top of it. We hadn t even received drinks yet so we got up and walked out. BE AWARE INFESTED BY ROACHES.

Im trying to understand how this place has 4 stars. The food was so subpar and my whole catfish (fried) was soggy, my okra had zero flavor (some were barely cooked), and the only thing I enjoyed (without complaint) was the fries. I wouldnt return to any Baytown Seafood if someone bought it for me.

I have always enjoyed Baytown Seafood at this spot. They serve a decent gumbo and crawfish. Their seafood platters, both fried and grilled, are excellent. Good boudin balls and one of the Very Best Mexican Seafood Cocktails in Northeast Houston! Great for takeout and eating in. Convenient, close to home and just as good as the overrated and over- priced, noisey, boorish, and obscene Papadeaux on the East I-10 Freeway. Parking: Parking is a bit cramped on the west side of the building

last night i ordered takeout, i ate it in the dark of my truck, fish, grabbed some and it was slimy, thinking it was only some soggy fish i shoved it into my mouth and it tasted like fish due to the fact it was on fish. Mid Food not the best but also not expensive. Didnt finish and left it on my table. Today, wake up and see 4 big fat green flies in the house, oh well maybe they got in through somewhere. About to open my takeout from yesterday and im greeted with multiple green huge flies. Coming from the takeout. No Other explanation than the takeout had maggots in it.

Asked for fish and shrimp to be fried extra crispy and ended up with soggy unseasoned fish. The fish was soft and slimy underneath all the breading. Dirty rice was tasteless and okra was unseasoned also. I will never spend money here again as this is not seafood at all. Just breaded unseasoned meat. Please do better.

Oh my gosh the food here is consistently delicious, the fish is always moist it s always cooked to perfection and their burgers are so fantastically well seasoned. I wanted the traditional simply fried shrimp & oysters. So, we decided to try Baytown Seafood. We hadnt been at one of their location in years.
