Here for league night (09/30/2024) and went to get a drink at the bar only to be ignored for about 5 minutes ( no acknowledgment whatsoever) Then when I did speak up I was snapped at. It s proper customer service to acknowledge your patrons even when busy so they know they have been seen. So I walk off from the bar, afterwards the bartender wants to find me and ask if I need a drink please don t try to provide customer to make yourself feel better after being shitty nope y all can keep whatever your serving.

Great first experience. My friend and I were looking for a chill place to play pool and have a couple of beers, and this place did not disappoint. Plenty of tables, and you can choose between 9 and 8 ft. Beers were also very cheap. I think a pitcher of shiner costed $8! The waitress was very nice and made sure we were taken care of.

I went to Bogies because of the good reviews concerning the table felt. All reviews praised the condition of the felt. I was put on table four today and I have to say the felt was worn out and in terrible condition. So was the felt on the tables next to me. I cant comment on any other tables. I was really disappointed. Edit: When I see progress I will gladly give a higher review. Looking forward to doing so. Edit: I played for 5 hours today on new felt. They have started to recover all the tables. A few more tables and I will bump my rating to 5 stars.

Came here for a friends birthday, atmosphere was chill. Our waitress was very friendly. My only complaint is that I don t think I ll order a drink from here again. I ordered a cocktail and I can t help but smell that the glass was not cleaned properly.. everytime I took a sip of my drink I smelt a residue of what smelt like dog water..

So . . . this review breaks my heart, to say the least. Ive lived just down the street from this place for almost 10 years, and its technically what made me want to be a more serious pool player. I love this pool hall for its tables. But unfortunately, management has allowed this place to become a mini-gang/clique establishment. If youre coming to play as a one-off . . . meaning you dont own your own cue (or cues), you dont have a carrying case . . . like a serious player with professional equipment . . . and dont play regularly, either every week at minimum or every other week . . . then this place is PERFECT FOR YOU (dont frequent this establishment) - come and play once every other year and be HAPPY. This place is absolute junk for serious players who are not gutter trash gamblers - in terms of Karma, Juju, whatever you want to call it . . . but if you aint in tha club . . . you get bounced. Adam is normally a great manager - hes got tha stuff to be a great manager - but lately, his choices in employees has shown that the discipline for service to the general public is not the priority. And knowing when regulars are problem clientele in fact, are problems for regular business - is a problem for the betterment of legitimate profitability. Im now forced, after almost a decade of patronage, to seek a new establishment. Ive spent several thousand dollars in this particular location, and I will not be spending another cent in the future. I used to enjoy this place immensely. But now, Id rather purchase my own table than be subject to such abusive douche-bag-ery. Spend your money in a place that values your business, because this place is just milking the general local naive market, and will never grow to be any better than what it is - scummy . . . .with roaches in every table. Ive been compd more than a handful of drinks for roaches at my side table - BTW. I only now call it out because management doesnt care about paying players. They only care about bums hanging around for a free game off of paying players. Watch your wallets, and be prepared to be thrown out by management on behalf of regular gamblers who are tight with management, and will get you thrown out . . . once they [the gamblers] get pissed - that theyre not making money fast enough off of you. Youve been warned - this is not a legitimate business anymore- this is a club . . that collects off the general public, and their susceptibility.

Stick stolen, Manager wont do cameras. We dont do that, Bartender states, My stick was stolen here too like that justifies. So I now need to subpoena it. And they will most likely delete it before I can. EDIT. mgmnt acts confused after this review, still they refuse co-op minimal effort. Owner manager replies to all neg reviews with finger pointing its sad. On top; the guy told the bartender to put his on my tab before he left! AND they legit tried to get me to Pay it! Nothing but over served gamblers in here, arguing, fighting, etc.. Not safe after 9pm. This is Not the only time Ive had issues here. Almost EVERY time I (visit in town) I have a problem with either Management, smug comments from regulars, attitude from child barbacks, its incredible. Finally I decided to write this, I go to backwoods pool halls all the time across the country, certain things you expect. My wife and I discovered our knack for pool just recently and was on the search for a Pool Hall that was close to Tomball. Being relatively young we were a bit nervous to go to one, knowing that it is a very old sport and is dominated by mostly people much older than us at 24. This pool hall has such a good vibe to it, my wife and I played for about 2 hours and 30min, had a beer and relaxed and played pool all for roughly $35. The drinks are reasonably priced and arent absurd, tables arent that bad either. We had a great experience, and even at the end of playing each other someone who has played the game for a while came over and should us some pointers on how to shoot the cue ball a certain way to control it more. It is great pool hall and we are definitely going be coming here to keep playing. We are beginners but love this sport and the community at this place is the best. They also have a ladies night on Thursdays which is great for the wife to take her sisters too, really welcoming in a sport that is mostly dominated by men. Awesome place, would recommend to anyone who wants to try pool or even just have fun!

This place was slow . Maybe because I remember this place jumping on any day of the week and I decided to go on a Sunday with an old buddy . They let us order a pizza from next door. We asked the waitress what was good from the pizza place next door . Man forget that place . Their wings were ok ,but the pizza we ordered was awful. The music at Bogies west was Meh . They set their own rules. We are new to the area and only came here for vacation I wouldn t ever recommend anyone go here during the day / If I could, I would give this bar is zero because of the rudeness/ the communication / miss information, with the day shift bartender December 14, 2022 she was very rude and didn t communicate that even if you ask somebody to play one game with you/ if you rent out a pool table for the entire day it cost $7.50 to rent out or to play one simple game with a random stranger if she would have vocalized and use her communication skills and told use that even playing one game of pool with someone would be $7.50 we would have never step foot into the establishment if the rude women in glasses would have told use these crucial and important information but all in all the place was clean and the people not bartender was nice

Went in Thursday, was being nice admiring that the place is nice. I tried talking to the bartender but she just kept walking away. I saw a different beer that I wanted to try and she said no that she can only serve me two. Then I started saying I understand I work at so and so for the corporate office and she just rolled her eyes and walked off to ring a bell and say last call this was after she already gave me my receipt so I thought that was really rude so I changed her $10 tip to a $2 tip have a better attitude next time whatever your name is.

The atmosphere was nice and the tables were extremely well taken care of. Pricing was inexpensive compared to what it may cost to go on a dinner and movie date these days. If youre looking for a safe place for your not so little children this place was very appeasing when bringing the whole family. They also have pro guides to learn fundamentals if you like and its an ABA sanctioned family pool hall. Sooo. Stop by and rackem up!

Only better now that there is no smoking inside. COVID restriction seemed to make the establishment remove all of the pool cues from the wall. Instead, you are handed pool cues without an opinion or choice. They were in good shape and seemed to be taken care of.

The tables are level, nice blue felt, 8 and 9 footers and a couple of Diamond tables as well. Great staff! Luv playing here!

Will be back. Pool tables and equipment are excellent shape. Sometimes there is a cook in kitchen. Wanna try some snacks next time. I cant think of any other pool hall to go to.

Wonderful environment great service! I totally enjoyed everything about Bogies!! They have an awesome drink selection, great games, lots of tables to choose from in all sizes and the cleanest restrooms Ive ever seen in a sports bar!! Thanks Bogies for an amazing time!!!!

It feels good to see folks having fun let that jukebox play & drink responsibly. This the most fun spot so far for grown folks at night. Thursday nights are ladys night half off on drinks & tables. Come to Cypress Texas Bogies Billiards West if you need to cut loose & relieve some stress.

We had the best time playing pool! Jessica took great care of us, she was so sweet and helpful. Make sure you get Cody to make his awesome smoked margarita for you. It s the best you ll ever have! The place is clean, the staff is super friendly!
