BEWARE when doing business with Mr. Darren Miller. My name is Lashonda J. Smith. When I was seriously hurt in an accident, Darren used every unscrupulous means available to avoid assisting me with my injuries. Mr. Darren Miller handed me over to a group of attorneys who were not licensed as a law firm and failed to inform me. I was homeless and without assistance, Mr. Miller failed to intervene. Mr. Miller knew Infinity County Mutual Insurance Company also Kemper Insurance had allowed a convicted methamphetamine addict to maintain his insurance and return behind the wheel less than 10-19 days after a felony DWI. The driver was texting while driving and did not see me I subsequently acquired a Traumatic Brain Injury and multiple spinal injuries. D. Miller and Associates, PS Lawfirm and Daspit Lawfirm along with the above mentioned insurance company s attorney Mr. Kevin J. Carey defrauded me and my dependent son from 2015 - 2023. I am going public with my experiences.

This law firm is unprofessional and dishonest. They intentionally gave me incorrect information. Hindered me from tracking my check. They then stopped payment on a check that they sent to me causing my accounts to be overdrawn. All they had to do was admit their mistake and get my check to me. Don t use this firm they will not treat you with respect or professionalism. Stay away from this LAW Firm!

Blessings, good afternoon, thank you for sharing, the same thing happened to me as you before accepting your guilt, the persons insurance shocked me, they answered me when they pleaded guilty, they no longer answered and gave the order to the hospital that I was discharged and I feel very Badly, the pain does not go away. I have a hernia in my neck and a hernia in my waist. It is very painful. Your workers give very bad service. I no longer answer. I no longer want your help and you do not answer. Please BEWARE of this law firm. They represented a friend of my in a DFAP case and took 25% of his reward and another 25% for fees that should have been included in the first 25%. He was not aware of the additional 25% fees taken until they sent the check. Upset was an understatement!!!

I wouldnt recommend this law firm. Please do not hire this firm. USDA sent check to this law firm July 29th. Got my check this week. I knew the fee was going to be 25%, but was never informed of any additional fees. They took half. Not only that, they held on to the money for 30 days to build interest for themselves (GREED). Im contacting the Texas Bar Association. Im feeling as though they scammed me. Thats some real bullshit right here. Why werent I informed of any additional fees?

Would give 0 stars if I could. They deliberately hold your money, once awarded to you, way beyond the reasonable time. Theyve had my check for a month now and I still havent received it. I have recently been reading the many comments from clients to see if the were experiencing the same type of treatment I was from these uneducated, unprofessional law attorneys and just as I thought, they treat others the same way. I filed a claim with this law office and after my money was dispersed, they held it another month and a half so that it would draw interest in their account. I am a single mother of 3 and I wish I had never chosen such incompetent people to handle my case and then hold on to my funds. I have mouths to feed and I have to make sure we have shelter. Everytime, I called they were extremely rude! Now I hear others are experiencing the same issues with their funding from the USDA. Other law firms have already dispensed funds and they have been holding funds for over a month. I am truly sorry that they have to go through this. I wish I could have lead them in another direction. These law attorneys only care above themselves and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE!!

This law firm is very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. My elderly mother filed a claim for the USDA and they will not release her check and they had her check since July 2024. They are telling me they have a lotta people , but I know several people that has received their checks. This law firm is holding the checks just to draw the interest of all the checks. They help me pay for my medical bills that I had from an accident that wasnt my fault, plus I had money leftover that was paid to me. The person insurance company that hit me only wanted to give me $ 500.00 for pain and suffering, and they repaired my car instead of totally it out. Im glad I went with D. Make sure you stay in contact with them especially in class action law suits. They took a case on in 2019 and have reached out to me in the first year for information. Theyve sent emails in the last few years in correspondence to the case. They have also been sending me emails to particicpate in surveys that support the case which I completed, however something inside of me said to call in and see what the status was, I was surprised to find out five years later that I did not even qualify for the lawsuit and no one informed me!!!!
