If you ve ever wondered what it s like to drink a beer while dodging a zombie apocalypse, Zombie Bar & Grill is the place for you! This place nails the undead vibe think Walking Dead meets Cheers, but with fewer brains and more burgers. First off, the patio. It s huge, dog-friendly, and probably big enough to host a zombie flash mob (just saying). Our dogs were treated like royalty, or at least the last uninfected survivor, with plenty of space to roam while we enjoyed our drinks in peace. Shoutout to Andrea, our server! Friendly, attentive, and very good with our curious pups. She made sure we had everything we needed! In short, Zombie Bar & Grill is the perfect spot if you re looking to enjoy a night out with your friends, human or canine. Just be prepared after a few drinks, you might start thinking you can take on the zombie horde yourself. Spoiler: you cant, but youll have a blast trying!

I came in from Dallas for an event. And I found my perfect spot. Pool tables, rock n roll, and really great food! The entire staff was awesome. I immediately felt welcome in the place, so much so I hung out for about 5 or so hours. Being a vocalist in a metal band back home, I was happy to find a neat little bar and grill! Wendy absolutely killed it! Very nice. Very helpful! Met a few people I will friends now! Thank you all for making me feel welcome here in Amarillo and at Zombiez. I pay it a couple of times. But Static -X has a song called Zombie. Great song for the place! Thanks again to everyone!

Traveling on my way back to Florida from Alaska, I found my kind of place. Typical biker type bar. People being loud, shooting pool, tunes blaring, and most of all, having fun. I enjoyed a salad, wings, and two ice-cold Genesis. The food was great. If youre traveling through Amarillo, you should definitely check out ZOMBIEZ.

Stopped here on the way through on a road trip. Couldn t have asked for a better time!!! The food is phenomenal, drinks are ice cold, atmosphere is top notch and the bartender Andrea the SWEETEST SOUL!!!!!! Will be coming back specifically to hang here from open to close! Locals were so kind and inviting. By far my favorite bar I ve been to in a very long time. So excited to come back for Halloween cause it looks like the BEST TIME!! Highly highly highly recommend!!!

Hands down best place to stop! Driving through the town on a road trip and was looking for a place to stop to eat and have a drinks me stumbled upon Zombiez! Service is amazing the bartender, Andrea, is one of the best bartenders I have ever met and helped me come up with incredible drinks I would never be able to get back home (especially for $3-$5). As for the food, there is no words to express how amazing it is. I had the popper burger and it was the best meal I have had in months. I will definitely be attempting this at home now even though I won t do it justice. If you are a local looking for somewhere new or just passing through the town is it a must stop for!

So! I saw this place rated high on the restaurant list while searching the area on maps. The pictures looked cool, and I liked the look of the merchandise offered. However, we got there and was apprehensive to walk in. It sits in a dead part of town and looks rough. I decided to see if they were open but left the family in the car, locked, of course! I tried the door and to my surprise, it opened! I was greeted by one of the nicest waitresses I have met. I asked if they were open since I had the only car in the parking lot, and she said yes, she notified me though that her cook didnt show up so no food! I asked her if they still had merchandise to sell. She said yes and opened up the area. I bought a couple shirts and was on my way. I would give this place another chance if I come through the area, again. Dont judge a book by its cover. Thanks again to the waitress for being so nice!

My buddy and I spent $10 for a comedy show that was being hosted here. It was honestly terrible. 1/7 comedians were actually funny. It was lowkey the most unfunny thing ive probably ever seen in my life. It was so terrible and the fact that they charged $10 for that is the funniest part of the whole night. The crazy thing is they dont serve food? How do you not serve food at a bar and GRILL???? Service was pretty decent after about 30 minutes of no service. The bottled alcohol was pretty trash. Not a very good experience overall. Dont come here if you want something to eat.

Waitress spent the entire hour and a half I was there talking to her boyfriend? At the bar. Service was trash this place has gone downhill Used to come here all the time for food beer and food used to be on the same receipt. Now they separate the food from the bar tab. And the food doesn t accept Apple Pay. But the bar does.

Husband and I ordered from here tonight and overall we enjoyed it! I had a green chili cheese burger and he had the popper burger. We also got fries and fried mushrooms. The burgers were good, but I think a little heavy on the seasoning they use. I think its A1 steak sauce? Anyways thats the thing my husband didnt like. I liked it fine but feel like maybe not so much of it would be better because it does have a strong flavor. The fries were very good! The fried mushrooms were good I thought, but my husband feels they would be better with a tempura type breading. I really liked them, however I really wish theyd have given me some ranch for them as they didnt come with it or any dipping sauce. Not sure if they just forgot it or if it just doesnt normally come with it. Overall through I think its pretty decent and I would like to give it another try for sure. The cook was very nice too and so was the bartender!

Didnt get to dine in because the cook wasnt in and wouldnt be in for a couple of hours. Were from out of state so we couldnt go back to try it out. Poppy burger was great and so was the summer sausage. Cook was super friendly and attentive. Bartender ehh not so much- we asked for a margarita and she made some orange juice concoction that was absolutely terrible and kind of acted like our presence was an inconvenience. There was only one other person when we walked in so I guess I really just don t understand. Definitely went to drink for a few hours and we left after we finished our food.

There were 7 of us on a Saturday night and we had to wait 1 hr for 2/7 meals! 1.5hrs before we all got our food, the orders were wrong, the western chips are literally ruffles and they served cold tortillas, not room temp actually fridge cold. Would not recommend or return (we came off a recommendation) we shouldn t have to eat at different times if we arrived together

!Warning! Had my birthday here for the second year in a row and omg what me and my friends and family experienced tonight was horrendous!! It was about 15 past midnight and the bar closes at 2 am. We are the last group of people at the bar which is about 7-9 of us. My brother who was pretty much covering the drinks that night closed out his tab because we had been there since 8:45 pm, with almost $200 in purchases. We sing happy birthday and this one middle aged biker woman who is an employee comes up to our table and starts yelling and cursing at us because we hadn t tipped our bartender yet for the night. When we planned on staying there till close playing pool. And out of context starts accusing us of being horrible people. We had full intent to tip, but she had no intention of hearing other wise from us. We eventually tip what cash we had, we were practically being pushed out and some of my family was pretty upset that she chose to be hateful towards me on my birthday and it escalated so quickly. Physical altercations ended up happening in the parking lot. I had to get between men screaming and threatening each other, and even had the woman try to come and attack me when I called her out on her immaturity. Even had friends threatened by fire arms. Cops ended up getting called and the bar people ended up fleeing the scene but gosh better watch out going here. Even after living in this town my whole life I haven t seen anything more ridiculous or selfish. Not even the bartender that hadn t received our tip yet was even bothered, just this one broody woman that wanted to stand up for her with out any explanation at all. We had employees asking for our forgiveness but they said that they could stop this employee from assaulting us. One solution: if your bartenders only make $2 and hour you should pay them more, or your customers are going to be threatened for not having tipped before even being done with the night. But someone definitely needs to loose their job after tonight! Other than at the end we had an amazing night at this bar with their karaoke and the pool and with the other customers that were there through the night. Just a warning there is a huge mental gap in the way this place is being ran or is handling their employees.

When we travel we look for unique and interesting places to go to and eat. This Bar and Grill fits the bill. While short staffed, like one guy who was doing everything, it was a weeknight and to be fair only about 12 people in the whole place. We took our dog, sat out back, were served quickly both drinks and food despite the shortage of help. We literally sat alone outside ate our meals and left. The images you see were mostly from the back courtyard. This place is probably hoppin & if it isnt, go in and help em out.

Red Neck Clay was the best bartender/server EVER! We came in late and he took pity on a table of travelers with great drinks, great food, fun jokes, and entertaining stories. Highly recommend!

True neighborhood dive bar (and thats not a bad thing). Went looking for something different for dinner while traveling; Food was good, came out quickly. Owner is really great. My only issue was it was a smoker friendly bar.

Passing through town and stopped to watch football on a Sunday. We found that most restaurants in the area were closed or not serving food so that led us to Zombie. Staff was fantastic. They appreciated us stopping in while passing through town. We bought some swag!

Downtown is making a comeback and Zombiez is right there with it! Drinks are great with lots to choose from! If you are tired of hearing we don t have that and want a bartender that knows how to make more than a handful of drinks this is the place! They have a full menu as well. Lisa (Owner) has really made the bar comfortable and easy going. With 4 Pool tables (in great condition), a patio that is always decorated for the season and great food to eat; it s a great place to have your parties for any occasion. You will find room at Zombiez most nights. It has the potential to get crazy and with the right combo of ownership (Lisa) .and marketing/management (Yours truly) this place could/will be an up and coming hot spot every night of the week!!! Bartenders Kayla, Clayton and Alise will make sure you re taken care of!!!

Went for burgers and beers... Apparently they werent interested, no one approached us, ask us to sit..it was our first time and well never try again. I guess you gotta be part of their regular group to get served.
