It is a dive like place. Friendly management and staff. Dress cool as in light, not stylishly . They had several fans mounted throughout the room. Great music !!

I did not sample the food so I left that off my review . It s the music and environment. Nice cozy place for an intimate listening and visual experience. I was able to talk with a few of the musicians during the break. I was thirsty so was able to get a nice mineral water (didn t want my usual beer due to driving in from the suburbs). No pressure. Nice people - deserving of community support! Parking: I was able to park right in front, lucky to get that vacant spot although there were a number of other spots at my time of arrival, just not as close.

6 of us went last night (Monday June 12, 2023) The open mic / jam was the best I ve ever seen. Everyone was super talented, friendly and welcoming. The staff were wonderful too! Highly recommend A+++++++++ 10/10

Emmit s Place has music every night of the week and a good Blues Jam on Monday nights. This pic is from Carl s Birthday Party with Redeye Carl and the Gulf Coast Cats band with Tom Penick. It was a great night with a lively crowd.

My first time and I was very impressed with the talent! Nice cozy place. Great atmosphere, drinks were good. Kyle Turner is there on wednesdays with some very very talented artist! I truly enjoyed the show and will visit again!

Friendly people service was nice cozy laid back country style atmosphere. Only thing I wasnt happy with was there was a bug in my drink and the bartender hands were dirty, he picked up my lemon slice with his bare hands. These are the same hands that collect money touch others bank cards and on his phone. Please get some tongues for picking up drink condiments/garnish.

This place is definitely a neighborhood place, our first time there and we were unaware that they have no waitstaff , so we sat for about fifteen minutes with the bar tender walking right by us and not saying they have no wait staff. Finally my sister went to the bar and got our drinks. Wouldn t return again but the music was okay.
