Discovered these hike N bike trails by accident. They were a very welcome alternative to riding roadside with traffic. I rode for miles and didnt see another soul. It was great.

How is no one talking about all of the ants literally covering the entire trail around the lake... Not just a trail of ants here and there. They are EVERYWHERE. Would not recommend bringing DOGS OR KIDS here. Just awful.

Great interlinking trails that make it easy to do a short walk/ride or you can stretch it out to 6 miles or so without retracing your steps.

Just a warning for all..MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO at phase 1 parking lot on 10/13/22. I enjoy walking here but my car and another persons car were broken into during broad daylight. My car was locked. They busted my window and stole my purse which wasnt even in plain sight. They really need to consider putting security cameras in the lot. That could be helpful in catching these thieves bc they wont stop. I would also like to add that the trails, although nice, offer hardly any shade at all and there are no restrooms.

Its a connected paved city walk, jog, bike trail around 5.6 miles long situated around various small lakes with lots of birds, ducks and signs explaining that its an alligator habit. They adding another section that is in construction. I cycled for about a hour and 1/2. Beautiful day. People and families walking, jogging, rollerblading and cycling. Recommend it especially if you live in the Clear Lake Area. Come on out and enjoy the outside

The individuals who planned the layout ruined it by taking down all the beautiful mature and shady trees that were on the original golf course. These amateur city planners, probably straight out of some technical school could have easily preserved the trees and built the watershed anyway without ruining the beauty of the landscape. Now they have planted some horrible trees that will take many many years to grow up and will never replace the wonderful trees that existed there. Also in the process, they killed and dispersed all the wild life that existed there. They still have no regard for any animals that managed to make it through and keep ruining there habitat, like the rabbits, skunks, opossums, musk rates and other critters. Then they decided to pave the walkway with concrete, which is very hard on the feet, instead of gravel which would have been a lot softer to walk and jog on.

Amazing planning is the takeaway for this site. I see genius in putting the walking trails where they beautifully accent what would only be utilitarian flood control areas...

This place has zero security, and homeless people will break into your car during broad daylight. There is a red silverado filled with personal belongings running an illicit drug market out of it parked on Reseda.
