About the Company
rating: 4.3
It all started with our gourmet burger at the Dallas Chop House. Our signature Chop House Burger quickly became one of the most popular items on the Dallas Chop House menu, so in 2010 we decided to share the Chop House Burger with the world by giving it a restaurant all its own. Chop House Burger is our twist on the classic All-American burger joint . It features Angus beef, locally sourced produce, artisan bread, hand-spun shakes and local beers. Our menu offers a mouthwatering selection of gourmet burgers, salads, sides, decadent shakes and desserts all made from scratch.

On a late Friday night, there was no line or wait. Not busy at all. Burgers were of high quality freshly made. Truffle fries were not as impressive from the sounds of it. Sweet potato fries was the highlight, so good.

We live in downtown, and ChopHouse is our primary choice for a burger in this area. Really fresh ingredients and food, tasty crispy fries, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and really great burgers! The burgers themselves have good, unique flavor combinations among the options: each burger is unique. Definitely recommend; we will be taking visiting family from NYC there next month.

Chop house offers the most flavorful burgers in town. I havent found a burger I dont like, but the Bob Marley is definitely my top choice. Their milk shakes are also exceptional, with the cookies and cream flavor standing out as the best in downtown. 10/10 I highly recommend for people to try out this restaurant.

We got the chop house burger, truffle fries (with no salt), and the cereal killer shake. Burger was average burger. Shake was good, exactly as expected. Fatty and sugary - exactly what the body craves. The truffle fries (without salt) were incredible. We got a great amount of truffle on it. If it werent for those fries, this place would have gotten four stars. Great location.

The Billie Jean melt: had the smallest piece of chicken on a chicken sandwhich Ive ever bought at a restaurant. It was a chicken thigh that was spread out to look bigger but still didnt cover my sandwhich entirely, a mcchicken from mcdonalds wouldve been thicker. And I had asked if the onions on it were grilled. The guy at the counter assured me they where, when I received my sandwhich the onions were barely sweated. Not close to grilled. My coworker got the bacon cheese burger that was below mid. Another coworker got the hot chicken sandwich that had way too much sauce on it. The truffle fries were almost cold when they brought em out. My chicken sandwhich with fries and a drink was $16+ you would think they would atleast put a chicken breast on it for that price. Im disappointed.

Omg I still think about the burger I at here. This is the best burger and fries I ve ever had in my life. I remember eating this burger and tears filled my eyes. The fries crispy yet soft and the burger juicy and a nice size. I literally spent months trying to remember where I had this burger. Now that I ve found it I m going to make the hour drive to eat it again. Ever time I eat a burger I think about how it compares nowhere near to this one. I ve never been much of a fan of ketchup but I enjoyed the classic fries and ketchup combo very well. I swear I ve had dreams of the burger I ate that day after I walked sound and saw the sights of Dallas. I remember being hungry and upset, but after all I could think about was when I was going to have one of these burgers again. I ve never been a big burger fan but boy am I glad I had one that day!

All of the food was delicious & we were super hungry so we ate it all. We got the Ricky Bobby melt, fried chicken sandwich, with barria fries and truffle fries. We ordered at the kiosk, but online ordering and ordering with a cashier were both options. The food came out quickly hot & fresh & cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the fried chicken fillet was a little small compared to the bun was more breading than chicken & could have been meatier. Otherwise, would recommend this place 100x over!!

I have been here a few times since I live in downtown about a 5min walk. Each time to try something different. The service was good and friendly, which was great because I like asking for feedback from the host/hostes on their choices and recommendations. I think the truffle fries were great and a must try. Also, the regular fries were pretty good. If you looking for a traditional burger, this is not the spot,so be prepared for a smaller burger with your order. The taste and flavor of the burgers I have tried has been good( 4 stars) but would like a bigger portion instead of a happy meal size burger. Overall ,its a good place to try and enjoy the business district Downtown.

I ordered the falafel burger without tzatziki sauce and a side of sweet potato fries. The fries were great. The falafel patty was a bit dry but okay. The bun was horrible. It smelled like raw egg white. Every bite was so gross as the scent overpowered the flavor of the filling. I was hungry and didn t want to bother the visibly disgruntled staff so I finished as much as I could. Definitely won t be back and I hope I don t get sick from the raw egg.

Alright ! Get ready to take your dentures off. The burgers are so soft, they melt in your mouth. And they look small like a big mac, but the flavor is huge like a tonka truck. You know when you go to a fast food joint and your leaving feeling so full and bloated you cant even fasten your seat belt and you get tired and sleepy??? WELL NOT HERE !!! I ordered the wine country burger .Pickled wine red onions, med rare mashed burger, arugula, tomato and ghoat cheese it was amazing ! To say the least. The ghoat cheese was more like a smooth mousse, so it gets on your hands and fingers when you bite it. I suggest you take the excess with a knife and lather it on to your white truffle skinny fries wich by the way are absolutely genius! To say the least, i had all this with a pine apple flavored water . i am absolutely grateful with the staff and i will come back sooner then later thank you so much for the wonderful experience chop house burger you guys are the best!

I am very disappointed to say the least at Criscilla M. our cashier and sever. I was charged $35.00 for a cup of Chardonnay wine. I asked if the wine comes with a refill because the cup was so small. She chose not to say anything. I sat there and enjoyed my son and our view of downtown Dallas but at this moment, I honestly feel as though I was scammed because I m not from Dallas. I am purchasing my second home in Parkwood and I honestly feel as though I was overcharged. I called several times and my call was routed to voicemail. I am requesting a refund because the cashier basically scammed me.

I came to Chop House Burger in downtown Dallas over the weekend and ordered 2 Hot chick combos and spent almost. $40. Decided to enjoy the meal at a park but once I opened the brown paper bag it was a total disappointment. The sandwich was nothing but a bun and looked nothing like the photo they have on their website. The chicken fillet was almost the thickness of McDonalds Happy meal hamburger patty with no crunch. Totally depressing sandwich for almost $10. I have had few disappointments in establishments before and I always make a goal to let the management know so they maintain quality control and I don t have to leave a negative review. I tried doing that here too and called and left VM at the store since they don t answer. There is no corporate office contact either. Sent an email and haven t got a reply back yet either. They don t allow to post photos either on here. My meal reminded me of the Hamburger scene from the movie Falling Down. Absolutely the worst hot chick sandwich ever!!!

Food came out rather quickly considering how busy they were. I ate a bacon burger and even though the burger was small it was tasty and filling. The chop house burger was very neat and enjoyable. Truffle sauce gives it a slughtly unique taste. Slightly smaller, I saw a couple tables requiring two for complete satisfaction. Wine country burger - goat cheese is dominant as it overpowers the honey mustard. If youre a fan of goat cheese this ones for you. Nut job shake is actually blended with crushed walnuts and almonds. Located in the central area of downtown Dallas, this establishment is a delightful spot. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a friendly young gentleman who provided us with recommendations and ensured that customers were promptly served at their tables. However, our experience with the cashier was far from satisfactory. She was woefully lacking in customer service skills, failing to offer even the simplest courtesies such as a basic greeting, a smile, or a thank you. It was rather disappointing. Nevertheless, the food itself was quite enjoyable. Our order consisted of a delectable chophouse burger, a flavorful fried chicken burger, and a side of truffle fries. While the bun was slightly tough, it did not hinder our overall satisfaction with the meal. The burger, in particular, was delicious!

One of the team members recommended El Luchador. I wasn t sold on guac on a burger, but he was right! The flavors were really good and I liked the crunch the tostada gave the burger. I was impressed with the prices too- less than $20 for a burger cooked to order, fries, and a milkshake downtown.

The fried pickels were the best Ive had. An 11 out of 10! Actually made from scratch. The burger Id give a 7. But the fries were awesome as well. My daughter loved the cookies and cream shake. Wonderful service and friendly staff. I didnt catch the cashiers name but very nice young lady. Will most definitely come back.

The food was just OK. Its an expensive burger thats not all that. They charge extra for lettuce . Its a very rude lady that works there, a little Hispanic lady. She is sooo rude! Its not enough space or customers for the staff to be rude. The milkshake was OK. Nothing was blowing your mind good. I will not return. Even the fountain drinks are high. $44 for 2 burgers, 1 small truffle fry, a small milkshake, and 2 minute maid medium lemonades from the soda machine. Its crazy

A typical fancy burger restaurant. Fries wrapped in newspaper, a large mural and brick walls. And of course you order from a fully greased iPad. The selection is something different and highly praiseworthy. Some burgers contain truffle sauce, red wine onions, honey mustard or goat cheese. So yes, something different! After we ordered 3 burgers for over $30 in total, we had to wait. And wait. And wait again. After half an hour I asked where my order was because a few others had already gotten their food before me. The employees desperate look toward a shelf of waiting orders said it all to me. My cardboard bag had probably been there for a while but they had forgotten to call it out. After a brief and lazy apology, the lukewarm burgers were eaten. The burger with goat cheese, honey mustard and red wine onions really tasted fabulous! 5/5 The truffle burger with truffle sauce tasted ok. Little truffle sauce for a truffle burger and also quite boring 3/5 The food was completely okay to extremely tasty. Its a shame that you find such an absolute desert of service in downtown Dallas. Well, working on it and Ill be happy to come back :) In terms of price it was okay, its just in the city center and a bit more unusual. Vegetarian options: There are options for modifying vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: You can sort out everything possible by ordering a tablet Parking: Since it is located in the city center it is really hard to find places anywhere Kid-friendliness: Not so much for children, as things get more unusual here Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult to reach with a wheelchair but there is a ramp

My cousin and I visited this location. It was crowded but nice. They have a nice variety of burgers and fries made to order. The price for it is definitely driven by inflation. This would have to be a once and a while deal because $40 without the tip (which you need to pay attention to) is a bit much.

It s mediocre. Shake machine was down, ordered a burger & was over cooked, the popcorn chicken is dark meat (fyi), the fries taste like cardboard. I d say the atmosphere was ok but a little loud and crowded.

Not as good as we thought it would be. I liked the size of the burgers, but they werent the best Ive ever had. Same with the truffle fries. Apparently the A/C was not working and the unit they had going was loud and did not cool the place off.

Good selection of burgers. Even had a veggie burger for me. Fries were good but the sweet potato fries is the star of the sides. Friendly employees and good place to hang out for lunch with friends. Even though it was busy, the food came out quickly.

We got the Bacon Cheeseburger and fried pickles. This was honestly the best burger Ive ever had! The hamburger meat is seasoned so well and you can tell the meat is fresh and not frozen patty. The pickles were also so yummy and especially love the sauce with them!

I got the Bob Marley and my wife got the Wine Country and it was exactly as we hoped it would be. The only jerk chicken could have been a little more spice but, it still was amazing. The truffle fries were good as well. The wine country was really good also. Great prices and even better food. I ll be back for sure!!

Burgers were not much to rave about. You order from a kiosk so there is not much customer service to account for. Very minimal contact with service, the only time we made contact with staff was when they brought our food to the table. We seated ourselves. The view was decent from the windows. Not something I would try again.

Pretty good burgers at reasonable prices, if only it didnt take so long. Order, payment + tip and then you can jump across to the 7eleven to buy something small to last the 25 minutes. For completeness, five dishes were ordered, otherwise the place was empty.

Quick service and tasty burgers! Tried el luchador and Wine country along with some truffle fries. The burgers were good, just keep in mind they are not very big. I didnt feel any sauce in the Wine country, that would have made it even better.

If youre looking for a delicious burger in downtown Dallas, look no further than CHB. This restaurant is a must-try for burger lovers, with a menu that offers a wide variety of creative and flavorful burgers to choose from. One of the standout burgers on the menu is the juicy bacon, which features a juicy beef patty topped with bacon, fried pickles. The flavors all come together perfectly to create a mouthwatering and satisfying burger experience. The restaurant itself has a fun and lively atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating options available. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the burgers are always served hot and fresh. In addition to their burger offerings, CHB also has a great selection of craft beers and cocktails to choose from, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out with friends. Overall, I highly recommend CHB for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable burger experience in downtown Dallas.

On vacation with my partner and we decided to order online so we wouldn t have to worry about parking. Ordered through their website and get a message saying it would be ready in 15 minutes so I arrive and go in while my partner drives around the block. No orders coming out. Spoke with someone else who was waiting and he informed me he was waiting for half an hour already. He asked one of the men working (bald head, glasses) and he was incredibly rude telling this man it wasn t ready and would be ready when it came out. I waited a little and then overheard one of the workers telling the people in line ordering no shakes were available. We had ordered online and ordered two shakes so I asked the man (glasses) if we would receive a partial refund. He was rude with me and said the app we ordered through would need to refund us. I explained I ordered through their website and he kept telling me the app would refund me. I asked to cancel our order and get a full refund and he told me they don t do refunds and to go through the app. I downloaded the app on the bottom of my emailed receipt, no orders. So I called customer service for the app and they informed me the restaurant would need to refund me even though the man was adamant they won t and I would need to go through the app. Now I need to ask for a charge back with my bank. $49 including tip down the drain for no food and a terrible experience. Also don t bother calling. The phones go to an automatic voicemail.

I was disappointed with this flavorless small burger that did not live up to the menu illustration. Self-serve kiosk was the only option available when I visited today. The diameter was about the same as my aquafina bottle which is seen in a pink mesh carrier.

Chop House was absolutely delicious! I am extremely gluten sensitive, so its so great that Chop House offers gluten-free buns. I dont get to enjoy burgers the way I would like to because of that, but at Chop House, that is not an issue! The staff is always friendly and quick to serve up your order once youve placed it. Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free buns
