First time eating at Pappasitos, the atmosphere was really amazing and modern while sticking to the roots. The service was quick, Derek was very nice, attentive, and respectful. This place gets busy over the weekend so make sure to have a reservation. We went with a large group. Service was really good but I didn t really like the large tables in the back where we were sat. The food is really good. Chips are ok but the salsa is delicious. Overall it s a very solid TexMex.

I really find that this place is overpriced. The fajitas were mid at best. The tortillas were really good. The queso was delicious. Sangria was light. Service was excellent. The redeeming qualities of this place, in my opinion dont outweigh the price paid. I would say I recommend this place...but there are dozens of better spots in Houston to get fajitas

Dont waste your time by ordering pickup. Ordered pickup online and arrived 5 min early and texted parking spot number as directed. After waiting 10 min after the promised time, I walked into the restaurant to find the order was ready and waiting on the shelf, cold. 3 stars because the manager had it remade and offered to make it right. We got there at 11:15am today. We were seated right away. Our goal was to beat the lunch rush and we were successful. At 11:45-12pm the restaurant started getting really busy. This is a shout out to our server, Abi for being excellent! At the same time, the food was good but COVERED in butter. I ordered a side of veggies and beans, there must have been half a stick of butter in each the veggies had melted butter foam on it why?! I wish I was asked if I wanted it in butter or not ahead of time. Otherwise the food was generally good tasting; but can t tell if it s because of the butter, salt, or both haha.

Recently held an event at Pappasitos for my son s baptism. They were accommodating from the start especially when I had to move the time up. When I got there, the manager was awesome. This place was recommended to me by a local friend and boy let me tell you the experience was amazing! I arrived around 6pm when it was pretty busy. The wait wasn t too long but I ended opting out to sit at the bar instead. I ordered their queso with chili, flautas, and chicken fajitas. All of it, ALL OF IT was good. The manager even came around to say hi and every single server seems to be have carefully selected as everyone was super friendly, polite, and upbeat. 10 out 10 all the way around and this is now my go to spot in the future

The worst fajitas ever, my family has been coming to this location for over 20 years and the last two time we been there it s been very disappointing the fajitas were tough and ribs were burn and dry the only thing that was good were the shrimps and chicken the rice was dry and the beans were not very tasty the flower tortillas too thick and not cook this restaurant has been going down hill, I have heard this from other people but didn t want to believe it, I do now! this being the second time I m sad to say this location used to have the most tender fajitas and the best flower tortillas, this dining experience was very regrettable, our granddaughter has just graduated from Sam Houston university, Saturday 11 and thought it would be a nice place to take her and her parents Unfortunately we were wrong, how disappointing, we should have gone to Taco Bell for $234.00 we could have bought a lots of tacos

The worst service they have given me in my entire life! I ordered a margarita and the waitress asked to check my ID, I gave it to her and it should be noted that it is my countrys ID (they have accepted it in all the restaurants I have been to) and she, in a somewhat derogatory manner, told me that I would have to consult ok I stayed waiting because they only have to check if you are of legal age, she returned to the table and told me that I couldnt have anything simply because I didnt have the ID of this country, then another person who was at my table presented his ID Obviously from here, and they didnt let her consume it either, another friend came to the table and asked for a margarita, they served it to him and I wanted to try it. At that moment, the manager on duty, whose name is ETHAN, went to the table in the most spoiled and arrogant manner. possible and he snatched my margarita from the table. It is totally outrageous that this type of thing happens in this restaurant because of the ID issue. We felt the discrimination they had against us. They didnt even want to take our order, and the worst thing was the humiliation. What the manager did to me was to remove the drink from the table and behave that way with us in front of other people. This is not my first time consuming in the place and that had never happened to me. Without a doubt, we will never return to this restaurant where feel the racism from some employees!

I was referred to Papacitos by a gentleman sharing my row on a flight from Tampa to Houston. Everything was excellent. I was seated quickly, and attended to immediately. The wait was a bit excessive due to staffing, I was told, but just looked bad with over 7 tables open as I walked to the restroom. I was going to write my experience was amazing. The food was great. I got a plate and asked for one beef fajita taco on the side. It was very good. My only issue was the one toco was $14.95 it was a good toco but Ive never heard of a single toco going for 15 bucks. I asked the manager and he confirmed that yes one toco is $14.95! Omg! My husband and I visited the Pappasitos on Airtex/45 North Fwy in Houston, Tx. We actually went to pick up to go food on our way home. From the the time we entered the restaurant, througout the transaction and waiting for our food, the staff implemented superior service the entire time. The to go server Maria was really good, however when we came in contact with Alex the manager, the service actually escalated 200%! (No offense Maria) He was very knowledgeable of the different dishes, had a smile that would make anyone that was mad, immediately acquire joy! I actually think my husband was a lil jealous there, because Alex smile made me smile. Heck i was greeting the other customers coming in. Lol! I just wanted to say keep up the great work Mr. ALEX! Service was good. It has been a while since I last ate here, but the food was cooked properly and the trademark Pappasitos quality. Fair reminder to couples that you should expect a minimum of $50 per person. You do get what you pay for, and its less than Perrys. Vegetarian options: Many salad options are offered with a removal of meat/animal products.

Dined today Sunday March 10th around 2pm. It took a very long time once seated to be greeted by our waiter. He spoke very fast and was not very personable. One of our orders was incorrect. I will not name the waiter because we all have bad days. I leave this review because the manager was exceptional, she was on top of everything in her restaurant. I wish I could remember her name but if I owned a restaurant I would want her to be in charge. Best management I have seen in a while.

Just went back on March 1st within a month or so, had the lamb chops again. Added a better picture! absolutely phenomenal! The Lamb chops were so incredibly tender and delicious! Well seasoned! The picture does not do the meal justice, Ill get a better one next time! So worth it, a definite must-try!

We ordered Nachos to come before our dinner, dinner came an no nachos yet, they arrived a couple minutes later. Kudos to the waitress for saying they would comp the nachos and manager even came and apologized, then got the bill and they were still on there. Removed once I said something.

Oh my goodness, the fajitas were so good! We ordered the family size fajitas of beef & chicken for 4 people and we left with left overs. The chicken was incredible!! Jeremy was our server and he did a great job!! I highly recommend him!!

I had a long day and Stephanie A made my day at the bar. She had a fantastic attitude and made great margarita. The tacos were great and the piping hot tortillas were amazing. Definitely my new favorite spot. Sorry Gringos
