When 14 officers show up at the wrong address, looking for the wrong man, wrong race, and are still convinced that you are the suspect, and the officers lie to intake prosecutor to have you arrested and sent to jail for their egos sake. Then you need to hire Chris Denuna to defend you and throw the case back in the face of the prosecutor that indicted you. When your case is dismissed, justice feels good, very good!

I can t recommend a better lawyer. Chris and his team are honest, fair, compassion, persistent and just all around great at what they do. Was a little reluctant to hire Denuna for a theft case as most of his reviews were for DUI s..all 5 stars I must add.. but after speaking to him I immediately knew I wanted an attorney with the tenacity he displayed and when I say he did not disappoint..that is an understatement..he got my case completely dismissed in under 6mos .. My overall experience -was ok. I hired Denuna law firm because of the many testimonials based on his fight for his clients and the different scenarios that many clients were charged/faced with and the outcomes at the end. Overall communication was not that great, and when there was communication I never really felt confident that they were doing anything behind my case or fighting for me. It felt more like they were going through the motion until my next court appearance approached. Even with the outcome that I received. I was hoping to at least get that feeling that this law firm has my back as many have attested to. I never got that feeling, even with the negotiations of my plea deal.

DISMISSED!! Is where I can first start this off at!! Chris was able to get my first ever DWI case Dismissed!! Even though I tested twice over the legal limit. This was a very lengthy process, took roughly a year and a half to complete but it was worth it in the end. I m not go lie I had doubts and knew I was going to lose and I m sure I was almost one of his difficult clients to work with due to me being impatient and scared. He was very reassuring no matter how many times I called, emailed or text that he had my back. He fought for me like I was family and I will forever respect him for that! Even though it was a long process Chris had the judge wave my court appearances so I literally only had to be there twice over the whole year and a half process! Now the price never changed, I was giving a set price regardless how long this case got drawn out he never had any hidden fees his price was his price ! I was looking for an attorney and found Denuna law firm,because I had picked up my fourth DWI which was enhanced to a felony ,made an appointment with Chris he was straight with me. He told me what I needed to do !,not what I wanted to do, I took his advice and did what I was told to do,by attending aa meetings ,getting attendance signatures and keeping a journal on the topic that was discussed during the meeting. Like most people finding themselves in court, I really had no idea what the process would be like, but Chris really guided me through it, turning what would have been a confusing nightmare into a breeze. I was honestly in disbelief at how simple he d made the whole thing and it was quite a relief to go from an egregiously early curfew and no driving order to a few hours of classes for a dismissal. I attended only two court session, once to get all bond conditions dropped and once more for the dismissal. No joke, Chris would walk in, say a couple words, then we walk out with a great outcome. Chris really went above and beyond for me. From the very beginning, they listened very carefully to what I had to say and helped develop options and plans based on the situation; if dropping the charges didn t happen. I was able to text or email questions and concerns and receive a response within an hour or less. I was fighting cases in two different counties (1 felony & 1 misdemeanor) in each. Yes, a total of four cases. Within a year Chris and Beatrice were able to get 1 felony dismissed and PTI programs for the other three charges which would end in dismissals once I completed a year successfully. I cant recommend Cris enough, I hired him after I got charged with DUI while on probation and I couldnt be happier with my decision. Cris made the whole court experience really easy and was always a text away if I had any questions or concerns. This firm is the best. Originally I was with Thiessen Law Firm and it was such a rip off. They wanted me to take probation as a first time offender. They took my money and barely contacted me. As someone who has always believed in having a well-rounded, dynamic attorney, who can adapt to the ever-changing landscape of draconian judicial enforcement by the courts, I hired Chris in November 2020 to defend me against a DWI 1st charge by Harris County with history in another state & a prior in the 1st week of relocating to Houston from Seattle, WA. In that case, my attorney Mr. Dan S bailed on Thiessen Law Firm to pursue his own self-interest political aspirations in running as a Republican Judge for Harris County Criminal Court #8, leaving me without an Attorney for the remainder of the DPTI Diversion Program. Chris was hired by Thiessen Law Firm to pickup the remnants left behind by Mr. Dan S then in 2017-2018 & ultimately everything worked out. This time around as a Rising Star & his own Law Firm, it was a no-brainer for me to hire Chris, not only to the familiarity with my 1st case then, but as someone who I know God put in my life to guide me through the perilous trials and tribulations we often face. I also went to high school with Chris back in New Orleans & although were 3 years apart & didnt talk much back then, he was a familiar face with the same background or pedigree as I. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as we often read in the newspapers & see on local television, the Harris County Criminal Justice System is a true mess. It took 15 months for Harris County to provide the evidence from that night & in doing so, after having a ignition interlock breathalyzer on for the duration of this time, I lost my job in the maritime industry due to financial cutbacks on Sept. 10th, 2021. I went to Tucson, AZ got intoxicated at a local UofA bar & blew into the ignition interlock breathalyzer registering a .19, thereby igniting a bond violation. On Dec. 8th, 2021, I was given a curfew from 8pm-8am reduced to home confinement & wearing an ankle bracelet monitor & court-ordered AA meetings. In acknowledging my fall from Gods grace & accepting the absolute low-point of my entire life, without the ability to earn $, with accruing compounded interest on debt accumulating, I began to work the AA Program with an AA Sponsor, who has now become a very good friend. Little did I know when I entered those AA doors, would God save my Life from myself. I was very much a broken man with the weight of the world on my shoulders. I now have tools to cope, friends & immense remorse for the decisions made in my previous life. After approximately 85 days in AA, actively working to change my Life, Chris & I devised a plan going forward. Either go to Trial with under a 50% chance of winning & let this drag out for another 18 months costing time/money/uncertainty/stress/anxiety or accept a plea deal & plead guilty to a DWI 1st, get 1 year of Probation, Community Service Hours, Drug/Alcohol Class, Defensive All-Day Driving Class, Pay more exorbitant fines/fees costs trying to work around a job with little to no care/concern from the Probationary System as I have learned from the past. However, there was 1 other long shot option, the Hail Mary option. I call it the Miracle option that worked out to where I ultimately pled guilty to a DWI 1st & ultimately no fines/fees & everything is now over. No $270 Court Fee Cost. No $3,000 Tiered-Out over 3 years through DPS Texas State Statute. No $504 for ankle bracelet fees. I truly & firmly believe God works through certain people & helped Chris make this happen. I am forever grateful for Chris honesty, integrity, support, friendship & there was no other person on this planet I wanted to go into battle with. What an outstanding lawyer! He somehow had ALL charges for a good friend of mine DISMISSED after enduring months of suffering through the legal process. She was facing some very serious charges, but has always maintained her innocence. Chris and his team did an excellent job of reviewing my case and getting it dismissed. I was pulled over for DWI and was charged. Mr. Denuna was not my first choice for a lawyer, I had a different lawyer him. My previous lawyer was condescending, and demanded extremely high monthly payments. The payments were higher than my rent. He must ve forgotten we were in the middle of a pandemic. I received my DWI in August of 2019 and Chris was very helpful and confident from the very first call. I immediately hired Chris after reading some of the reviews and I was so glad I did!!! 2nd DWI High Blood Test BAC DISMISSED! After an arrest and a subsequent recommendation from friends/former clients I made an appointment to review my case with Chris.
