I recently visited soho 7 karaoke Bar, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was electric, with vibrant lights and a lively crowd adding to the excitement. The song selection was fantastic, catering to all musical tastes with thousands of tracks spanning multiple genres and decades. Whether youre into classic rock, pop hits, or the latest chart-toppers, Soho has you covered. The sound system was top-notch, ensuring everyone sounded their best. The private karaoke rooms are a game-changer for those who might be a bit shy about singing in front of a crowd. These rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, making for an intimate and fun singing session with friends. Drinks and snacks were reasonably priced, and the bartenders mixed some of the best cocktails Ive had in a while. The menu offered a good variety, and the quality was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the signature cocktails, which added a unique touch to the overall experience. The bouncer ruin the mood. More than Half the party left because of him. He did not need to give us a speech. We are grown adults and know how to handle our situation. Spent too much money here for this treatment.

One of my favorite place to go and hang out with my family and friends. The owners and workers makes the place have a very fun vibe. If you haven t tried yet, their wings are to die for! I will definitely go back.

Amazing atmosphere, the owners Jeff and Diana are really accommodating, provides the best service possible, and they re genuine people. You want to party with them, because they ll make the night memorable and you ll have the time of your life. Overall for food wise, the chicken wings there made by Jeff. One of the top five chicken wings, I ever had to eat. It s not just a karaoke spot. It s honestly a hang out spot for a lot of people in Asian community, and they re very welcoming to all walks of life.

Ever since new owner took over this place it s somewhat different. Not any better sadly to say They close the main room plus the bar for private parties and don t really post it online or anything in advance for customers to know before they get there. The minimum people they allow in the karaoke rooms are at least 4 even for the small room so you can t go in as a couple or with just two friends. I think I like the ways it was before when they still took other customers for the bar even when they had private parties especially for the regular customers. Also, when they used to serve more food. Missing the previous SOHO. Guess I gotta find a new place for just me and my gfriend for girls night out.

This place is great! Come here for fun or just a conversation with someone. Walk through the front and enjoy what s on the other side! Rooms are nice and spacious. The main lounge is big to where you can host a party! Very nice people on the other side and they are renovating it. :)

Bad first impression, I dont think Id go back :/ Honestly the front of the shop looked sus. It would make you wonder if youre in the right place. They definitely need to redecorate that front. I went with a group of 6 on a Saturday night. We were placed in the large room ($50 per hour) which could probably fit at least 15 people because the 6 of us wont fit in their small room??? My friend who have been there before said that theres definitely enough space for 6 people in the small room.. so its quite ridiculous... Additionally, the guy who checked us in was pretty rude. He literally just placed my group in a room and left. He didnt ask how long were planning to stay. He didnt even demonstrate how to use the karaoke machine. My group was left quite confused and clueless.

I ve been here twice and every time I come they always ask for a minimum purchase. First time was a $35 per person minimum at the bar, the second we needed to get a room to even have a drink at the bar!? I ll pass!

The most affordable karaoke place EVER!!! Good drinks and a great vibe. Trust me it s hella stretchy at night but it was SO fun!!! Give it a shot. And once you get the hang of typing in the songs it s smooth sailing. I thought I would last an hour but I stayed 3 hours!!! So fun. It s like a hole in the wall. Houston s Hidden Gem.

This place is terrible dont waste your money here. Back then it was a nice place to come to. Now they want to charge a crazy amount just to have a drink. Me and a friend had a beer and this establishment charged us 35 dollars. AVOID THIS PLACE PLENTY OF BETTER BARS THAT WILL RESPECT YOU AND ACTUALLY VALUE YOUR BUSINESS

A friend of mine went with some friends and the staff tried to overcharge them. When my friend brought up the discrepancy, he was met with hostility and threatened. The owner then tried to instigate a fight and so they left. Upon returning to the location months later, the manager recognized my friend and kicked them out so no reason on the spot. Simply because of the conflict which could have been resolved by charging them the agreed upon price. Will not be returning and honestly, strongly recommending not giving your money to an establishment whose owner literally tried to FIGHT SOMEONE!!

It was 2 years ago last time I visited SoHo7 and wow, what an improvement in atmosphere and service. A big shout out to Jeffrey and Sean, the owners, for their awesome job. If you are ever in Koreatown, this is the place to hang-out for cool K-pop music and good drinks. They even have nice private rooms for group parties.

Absolutely wowed by Soho7! My husband found Soho7 when looking for private rooms at Karaoke bars and this place by far is a hidden gem in Houston! The owners are a true example of wonderful hosts and great small business owners. I recommend anyone to come here and give this place a try! You won t leave disappointed! All our guests enjoyed the food options available and they have great combos! I recommend the one with 2 beers and soju! Our group had never tried Soju and it was sooo great, get the strawberry! Also the Mai Tai s are fire! The selection is extremely extensive! You have a book and then can also ask to get an iPad to keep looking through music options. Our room had tamborines and 3 mics. I can t wait to come back and enjoy the main room! I also love the remote they have to que up songs! It was easy to understand! Just as an FYI there isn t a Spanish music selection, however this didn t stop us from being there for 5 hours singing at the top of our lungs!

First time ever doing karaoke in my life and this place was great! My group was probably about 20 people the staff member let us choose which style of the room we wanted. He was super helpful and the sound quality in the rooms are really good. Also the selection of song choices is massive! Plus they keep everything up to date so it s a never ending selection of songs. I also like how they had songs in more languages than just Korean and English.
