Ive stayed at this location twice in a months time and both times the elevator wasnt working. The staff did discount the room so Im appreciate of that. My second stay wasnt very good. After being woken up by loud music I turned on the lights to call the front desk and complain. Upon doing so, I saw BED BUGS crawling on 2 of the unused pillows. The manager came up and witnessed them. I pulled the fitted sheet off and there were more hidden inside at the foot of the bed. He agreed to discount that day and move me to another room. At this point its a little before midnight and I was scheduled to depart at 4a.m. to travel back to Ft Worth. I chose to just check out which put me on the highway. I spoke with the manager the next day. She agreed to a full refund. I emailed pictures of the bed bugs to her and her General Manager a week ago. I have not gotten a response nor a phone call. I am disappointed that no one has reached back out to me. The inconvenience of me having to travel that time of the morning still doesnt sit well with me. For some reason Im unable to load the pictures and videos that I took. Rooms: BED BUGS

I booked a room for my mom s bussiness trip . I got a call gtelling me the elevator wasn t working I was okay with that, btw woman on the phone does not know how to speak to customers , my mom arrived to the hotel & same woman (nia ) because I asked her for her name. Was not helpful at all & rude , like I mention she does not know how to speak to customers , I suggest having someone else on the front desk if you want more bussiness , my mother complained about how rude she was & I confirmed it when I spoke to her prior , I m not the one to leave reviews but this really pissed me off & I was not okay the way she had attitude

Upon arriving the desk person ran my credit card. He then informed me that their elevator was NOT working and had not worked in several days. I then told him that were are handicap and cannot climb stairs, much less carry our luggage up stairs. I asked was there an available room on the first floor and he said there was. When we opened the door to the available room we were faced with a horrible smell! It smelled like cigarette smoke, but later learned it was probably mold caused by the air conditioner. After We entered the room and tried to get settled, we noticed that the television did NOT work, so I informed the front desk, they promised to send maintenance. Two hours passed and no one came to fix the television. So I called again, and the front desk person came and was able to connect the television and get it working. While he was there, he checked the floor around the air conditioned and said he was sure the awful smell was caused by the air conditioner. During all of these issues, I was promised that 5,000 points would be added to our account. To date that has NOT happened! This was indeed the very WORST experience ever in any hotel.

This is third stay in this location, every single time the elevator was told not working, I did have some one from hotel call before checkin( about 4hr before checkin time of the issue) unfortunately most people cant cancel reservations due to 24hr policy so Im stuck with walking the stairs on a bad hip. And nothing the front office can do but say were sorry.

This location seemed to have people living full time at it. People would be sitting in chairs out front smoking and the guests were loud. In addition, the rooms were full of black mold. This issue was mentioned to the front desk and the reply was simply ok. Very poor customer service for something that can make patrons ill and get this place shut down.

Elevator broken, seems to be a on going problem with no plans to fix it. Parked out in front and our window was busted out along with another truck, seems to happen often at this location from a Pearland officer, don t leave any valuables in vehicle, we didn t- but still spent $282 on a new window.. Would not stay at this location again. Noteworthy details: Breaking in vehicles happens often at this location.

We have stayed at this location several times over the past 18 months. The location is perfect for us. Unfortunately this will be the last time we stay at this property. The elevator was down the ENTIRE STAY 5 days. When we found out the elevator was down we assumed (our mistake) that it would be worked in and back in operation within 1 or 2 days. We are in Houston/Pearland, not some island in the middle of the pacific. The front desk staff was nonchalant and uninviting. When we returned to the hotel after our first day out, the key was deactivated. Walked down from the 3rd floor, came back and although the door unlocked , it would not open. Walked back down to the front desk and the associate came back with us and with a very condescending look, used his master key and it opened. In front of him, my husband tried our key, nothing, the employee tried our key, nothing and then said, oh this is probably the door where you have to pull the handle up . Okay didn t have to the night before but okay. And the room carpet not sure what was on it but my socks were disgusting after 5 minutes. Honestly, the only positive comment that I have is that housekeeping was amazing! Anyway, just checked out a day early and will not return to this property.

I stay at this location frequently as it is the most convenient for my specific purpose of traveling to Houston. The last two times Ive stayed, the elevators were not working. I am an amputee and need to have the room with the roll-in shower. This room is on the second floor! WHY WOULD YOU PUT A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOM ON THE 2ND FLOOR! IF FOR NO OTHER REASON, ITS A SAFETY ISSUE! Rooms: This hotel is beginning to get a little run down. While the rooms are clean, Ive noted several areas that need some maintenance (other than elevators). I.e.; missing tiles in bathroom, chips in tubs, Ironing board cover with burn holes. The soap/shampoo bottles in the roll-in shower are on the opposite wall from the shower seat and impossible to reach; again, key word is ACCESSIBILITY! Safety: Wheelchair accessibility room is on the 2nd floor which doesnt make any sense at all; especially since the elevators seem to be not working on a regular basis. Key word here is ACCESSIBILITY!

This used to be a good hotel. My family and I booked a room at this location earlier in the week. We received a call that the elevator was not working and that they would have to put us on the 1st or 2nd floor. I agreed that the 1st floor would be in fine. We arrived late that night and after checking in we were told we would be on the 3rd floor. We told the hostess that would be unacceptable that we were not walking up stairs with luggage and sleepy kids. We were told there is nothing they could do and that we could go somewhere else. This is after they had already charged us for the room. We will never stay at this facility again. I recommend going to the Home 2 Suites behind it. They have great service and the elevator works. Im still waiting on my refund!!

I stay at holiday inn for my points and have never had an issue, only thing is that the elevator wasnt working and i was stuck on the 2nd floor. We have previously loved staying at holiday inns, however this stay was very disappointing. Elevator was broken (only avaliable rooms were on 3rd or 4th floor and with kids that is NOT fun) sink in room didnt drain, damage on the bathtub, no one at front desk to assist, fitness center closed, no hot coffee downstairs in the morning, and my kids were extremely disappointed that the pancake machine was also broken. No one even offered compensation or a way to make our stay a nicer experience.

Was notified elevator has been broke for almost 2 months. Luckily, they had a room on the 1st floor. My door to my room stuck, couldnt hardly push it open. Carpet where the table was in the corner of the room was wet. I dont know if it was from the a/c or not. Mattresses were dirty. Breakfast food was very bland, pancake machine was broken. I have stayed there before several times and since then, they have went downhill. Will not stay there again.

Hot breakfast was good so yummy both days we were there. The elevator broke and buttons didnt work so my husband and 2 sons were stuck until I pushed a button for it to go to 1st floor and front desk was prompt to work on it right away but I didnt trust the elevator after that. I have to say the room was comfy and clean but very outdated. Older fixtures, pieces/previous damage to furniture that they had painted over. Location was not great only one way in and one way out they need to get with the Home2 suites next door and create a road taking you out that side. Was never greeted at check in as being a diamond elite member and the fact that I stayed here for a week and walked in front of the desk at least twice a day I was never greeted except for once. In the mornings when I left there was never anybody at the desk. When I checked out I stood there for 20 minutes before somebody showed up so I could get my bill. I cannot speak for the breakfast because I was leaving by 5:30 in the morning but there was only fresh coffee once at that time. There was never any tea or hot chocolate or hot water available. Workout room was under construction (didnt know till I walked down to use it). One washer/dryer was working and the ice machine was broken on the 2nd floor. Had to go to the 1st floor for a cup of ice. Outside lights were flickering so bad you could get a headache from them.

Rooms were very clean, but the furniture could definitely be updated. The toilet seat in room 404 should be replaced and the lamps could be updated. They could also stock up on blankets, I asked for a extra blanket twice and they didnt have any. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Overall I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Houston.

This hotel was excellent. The best experience I have hadvin a long time. Yes it was a bit pricey yet well worth it. Rooms: The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom handicapp equipped. I stay with the location June 10-12th 2020. Location was great very convenient however I was eaten alive . Second day of stay I had bites in multiple places. Itchy red and swollen. Another guest (around the same dates of stay ) complained about little black bugs being in her luggage. This should really be looked into..

Ok, I used to stay here a lot for work but the elevator stopped working and the parking lot lights were constantly flashing. I gave it a couple months and figured it would be sorted but the lights are still going and the elevator, while working, is so slow and feels sketchy. We checked in late and went right to sleep. We ran around the next day from morning til night and went right to sleep when we got back. The next morning we had some fruit and yogurt for breakfast and went to our room, the refrigerator was not very cold so we went to get ice (but didnt) because we spotted a huge dead bug around the machine. On our way back to the room we saw a second bug (smaller, but ALIVE) run under the door of another room. We packed up and checked out! After explaining why we were leaving 4 days early and showing the pictures all they did was offer a free night if wed stay (with the bugs, no thank you). We declined so he discounted one night by $30. The beds were very comfortable but we wont be back.

This is definitely one of the older Holiday Inns... but its still a nice place to stay for a night or two. The room was clean and smelled great. The workers were polite and helpful. Breakfast was great! The outdoor pool is small, and just OK, open from 10AM-10PM. Same goes for the gym, real small, open 24/7. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Room A/C worked great. Only real issue I had during my stay was that the dryer was terrible.(only one dryer available.) Had to spend extra $$ to dry my clothes 4 times. All in all, I would stay again, for a couple nights.

Ive been to a tone of hotels recently over the last eight months or so. A lot of the US and got to say they definitely made my stay a nice day. They had breakfast in the morning. The rooms were very very clean. They even had the little towels made into designs and the toilet paper to. By far within the top two with another Holiday inn Express in Atlanta on the east side were definitely my top two out of probably 50 in the last eight months. Thanks a lot and will be looking for yall next go around. And also a huge thanks to Gloria one of the housekeepers who had done my room before I had got there. Absolutely fantastic job. You definitely made me feel comfortable and had a wonderful sleep and all the extra detail definitely would like to acknowledge her for that. She definitely is doing her job and doing it well

I have been staying at this hotel since 2016 twice a month for business I travel from Louisiana to Houston to purchase vehicles at the auto auction I got a text message saying my account was charged $75 for a missing pillow I couldnt believe it I asked the manager can he look at the video camera to ensure that I would never take a pillow and that I had not taken a pillow but he said it is policy and he has to charge me I will never stay at this hotel again in my life they just lost a good customer

This place went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. My son was in icu, I was so stressed and worried. Alissa D. Was the most awesome helpful person I have ever met. She let us know she would arrange rides to and from icu for us, which took such a burden off us. The phones went out in a thunderstorm, and she called me to give me her personal number to make sure I could get my ride back to room. You dont find people like that much anymore. Will definitely stay here again if Im ever our this way.

Extremely rude staff, enough to spoil trip. Shiva just calls up the room and starts asking my information a day after checkin without explaining the reason. When I tried to explain that 1st state your problem then ask questions, he very rudely responded who else to call and then arrogantly stated my name. Been to a fair share of Holiday Inns and this one I guess being so close to the neighbor bar is slacking in cleanliness and upkeep. Stains on sheets and towels, hair in shower. Spilled drinks in the elevator. Sink faucet was not even attached to the counter.

Meets the basic standards for a hotel in its price range. Access to the elevators is a bit of chokepoint traffic-wise. The batroom faucet is undersized and while whasing your hands theyll be right up against the sink. Buth other than that pretty standard. Hot breakfast is included too, so thats a plus!

From check in to check out, everything about this place is great. Rooms were clean, bathroom was neat and tidy and a decent gym as well. Bed and the pillow was super comfortable. Retail stores and several restaurants near by. About 20 mins away from Space Center. I picked this place as I wanted some peace and quite stay and I got exactly what I wanted. And the best part comes with the morning breakfast, it was fantastic. Bacon and egg biscuit was delicious. I will pay to have those. Overall: great place to stay and I loved it.

The rooms were excellent but what I realized with the coffee maker, you have to bring your own water bcoz there is no kitchen area for water to be used. So make sure you bring your water bottles.

The staff was very friendly, and the room looked clean, but it s obvious that they rush through cleaning, the top soap shelf in the shower was clean underneath because it s easy to see but the lower shelf has mold under it. When I seen the bug crawling on the bed I looked under the mattress and it was filthy under the headboard. $100 a nite stay. Not happy at all

Customer Service was horrible... Front desk didnt listen to my request when I first registered. I told them I had elderly people with me and I needed the rooms to be close/ Right next to each other didnt happen.. Had to move to another rm. Get to other rm after being in there about 4hr DISCOVERED THERE WERE BUGS !!! Terminates to be exact took pics.. First the assist manager said she took of $10.00 lol..lol.. Really!! When I spoke with the manager he said just accommodate her for one nite that was $104.00 Im very upset to say the least with the service are there lack of

Nice clean hotel, not busy, free breakfast, friendly staff, nice updated rooms but had mold around the ac unit and the tub. The hallway on the 3rd floor smells like disguised urine. As if they tried to clean up a mess with lots of cleaning chemicals. It was gross. The ac unit in our room was hard too keep cool. I think the heavy curtain in front of the vent is the problem so we tried anchoring them back with pillows. The bed is comfy but the humidity in the room was high so it was difficult to stay comfortable.
