We had our daughter Graduation Dinner here @ LaJoya Party Room. The Venue was so clean & fresh throughout the entire event. Our guest enjoyed the food , music, line dancing,& just celebrating with family , friends, classmates, Teacher, the Venue was filled with Love.The Red Carpet Photo Booth was so much fun we all enjoyed the Photo Booth!! When the old school was teaching line dancing with the teens that was amazing!! Thanks Matilda for making my daughter Graduation Dinner so special.You went above & beyond my expectations.The Security made sure the guest was safe at all times. I would definitely recommend this Venue for any occasion.

Where do I begin? This is my third event with Matilde. This lady is the absolute sweetest, kindest, and most hardworking individual. From the moment I let her know I was getting married she went right to work. Matilde goes above and beyond every single time. Our wedding was absolutely breathtaking. Also she stayed within our budget. Definitely a night to remember for us.

I had my 50th Birthday Party Event here in La Joya Party Room #1. I feel blessed that Matilde help me organize my party! The decorations were beautiful and all my guest were very happy and loved the hall. I highly recommend this hall for your next event. It is very beautiful!

Another grand event decorated by Matilde. This is my second party that she has designed and decorated for my family. The first was for my daughter and this time for my grandson. Each time has exceeded my expectations of excellence. She delivered EXACTLY what we discussed and we were extremely happy with the final product. I had my graduation party on a weekend here , Matilde was really attentive with my party , Helped with The party decorations , & had great service , she provided a lot of attention with my mom , with all the questions and doubts we had , not only that but the party hall is really nice , I did my party for 100 people and it was great , space was perfect & the night as well, this is not the first time we book with her ! , would really recommend.

Excellent place for special parties, I had my daughters quinceañera in January. Matilde, an excellent organizer, decorated the entire room and it was beautiful. She had every detail for my party that I have no words to thank her for everything she did for me, from the decoration to Serving food at every moment at the party told me not to worry about anything because she had everything under control. The truth is that I am more than grateful for everything that I did for my daughters party. To all the people who are looking for a place and a party organizer, I recommend Mrs. Matilde.

I had my wedding in this hall it was a great experience, Matilde the owner was a great help for planning the perfect wedding for me, the decoration was perfect and the hall has a great space with a spacious kitchen and a bar area. I had my wedding about 100 people and everyone had fun and compliment the decoration of the venue which was perfect for me and my husband. Any questions or doubts that we had for this stressful day ,Matilde was a great help and was with us every step of the way. 100 percent recommend for anyone that is planing an event here !!!!!!:)

I reserved this hall for my son and nephews graduation party. The planning leading up to the party was very frustrating with the owner as it was hard to meet with her to make payments on the hall and we often needed to make changes such as adding decorations and tables when we would discuss these ideas with her she would forget what we told her and had a hard time keeping track of any changes to decorations. The day prior to the party I provided her with balloons that I needed blown up with helium for decoration at the hall and I figured I would have her provide the service since she also owns a party store and would be able to deliver the balloons rather than me taking 100 balloons to party city and trying to get them all to the party hall. The day of the party I was missing all of the gold balloons that were part of my color scheme when I asked her why she said they were smaller than the other balloons I gave her. I was upset because she failed to notify me before the party about that issue if she would have I could have brought her the correct size or asked her to replace them as she owns a part supply store and keeps all size and colors of balloons in stock. The fact that she as a hall owner and party planner did not even think to do this was very upsetting because I trusted her to help bring my ideas for the party together. That isn t the worst part, we arrived to the party hall on the Friday prior to begin setup and the hall was 80 degrees when we asked her why she said she normally keeps the A/C off until the day prior to parties and it would cold down. The next day Saturday of the party we arrived around the same time as the previous day and the temperature was still at 80/81. We asked her again what was going on the with the A/C she lowered it said it would cool. Two hours into the party the temperature was still the same we reached out to her several times to get her to come and check for herself because at that point our guest were complaining and our customized chocolate candy bars and Hershey kisses were melting. She kept telling me to lower the temperature but it was already on 50degrees so it wouldn t go any lower. It wasn t until my mom got on the phone with her demand she get there and take care of the issue that she brought in fans and and A/C technician only to find out it was messed up and had to add free on. That process took another hour. That Monday we reached out to Matilda regarding the deposit return and instead of apologizing about our experience all she did was complain that the photo booth had not been picked up after I explained to her in advance it would not be picked up the same night and not only did I give her that information the company I rented the booth from had also communicated that to her as well. Overall very horrible experience here!!

This hall deserves zero stars. First of all let me start with the owner of the hall Matilda her communication skills are horrible. We tried discussing several decoration ideas with her prior to the party she said she understood what I wanted but when I would double check with her she was completely lost. I tried meeting up with her several times before the party and she was never available. I rented this hall out this past weekend for my sons graduation party when we went the Friday before the hall was extremely hot but she said she had just turned on the ac so it would be cool for the party the next day at 6pm. The next day we arrived at 4pm to start the set up and it was reading 82 degrees in the hall we questioned the temperature and she said it would cool off before guests arrived. 2 hours passed guest started arriving and it was still reading 80 degrees. I tried calling her several times to come to the hall because it was so hot she refused to come. Finally we called one last time and my mom had to yell at her and she came to the hall and brought fans. She called an Ac guy out and later told us the ac was messed up. So half the party the ac was reading 80 degrees. With many guest complaining it was hot and leaving I was really upset. Our cupcakes and candy melted from out sweets table and balloons lost helium and began falling during the party. She also had roaches in the kitchen area that we tried killing with no one noticing. We had agreed in contract 300 deposit if we left hall clean. She did not give us our full deposit due to extra charges of blowing balloons and delivering it to us. We were missing several balloons and most had very little helium and fell during the party. Overall horrible experience at this hall. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!
