Had an amazing experience at the bar thanks to Bailey! Their service was top-notch from start to finish. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always perfect. You can tell they know their craft and really care about making everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend asking for Bailey if you re looking for a great night out. Will definitely be back!

On Labor Day, we stopped by Tailgaters with our kids to grab a bite to eat. Weve been a few times before when we lived in the area and were craving some wings. It wasn t very busy, but the service took longer than expected, though we weren t in a rush. My husband ordered a drink, and the waitress brought two, even though we only asked for one. We decided to keep the extra drink, no big deal. When we got the bill, we were surprised to see a 20% gratuity already added. This confused us, as it was just the two of us and our two small children, but we went ahead and paid. What really upset us was that days later, when checking our credit card, we noticed an extra $25 charge on top of the gratuity. We hadn t added that to the receipt. We called Tailgaters to explain, and they confirmed that a gratuity shouldn t have been added since our party was less than six. However, we re still waiting for an explanation or resolution. Weve called the restaurant repeatedly over three days, but management hasn t responded, and on several occasions, they ve even hung up on us. This situation could have been easily resolved with a phone call explaining what happened and assuring us it won t happen to other families. Instead, we ve had to dispute the charge with our bank and are left feeling frustrated and ignored.

I wanted to take my mom out for a fun time to celebrate Mothers Day. She chose Tailgaters. I liked the patio right away but when we walked inside to order, the bartender just wasn t very friendly. Considering we d never been there before, it really made the whole atmosphere seem less welcoming. We weren t the only customers, but the other 4 or 5 people interacted like they were regulars. The selection was very basic so they didn t have either of our 1st or 2nd choices, so I just ordered whatever was on special. I rarely drink but when I do I m not typically one to waste a mixed drink, even if it s not that good but my drink was bad enough that day that I didn t even finish half. We left & went elsewhere. It must ve been an off day at Tailgaters.

The food has gotten better since the change in cooks. The waitress Ive had multiple times i believe was named Bailey. She doesnt bother me unless it seems i need something. (Im not a people person so you may or may not like this) The atmosphere is of course loud being a bar mainly, but also sometimes the music is just too loud and pretty bad for the most part.

My family and I have been here on several occasions and have always had a really good experience. The food has never disappointed, especially their delicious french fries! Pricing is fair, and the wait staff/bartenders are friendly and attentive. A great place to grab some good food or a beer with friends.

if you re hispanic or from out of town, don t bother coming here. faced discrimination and they wouldn t take my out of state drivers license. feels like a bunch of kids with little bartending experience run the bar. also the food is subpar and there is not a lot of seating. the patio is wind facing and uncovered so if you want to eat outside i would NOT recommend this place. this review was written on my experience visiting 4 separate times, tried to find an upside there are zero. lots of better places to go in frisco and surrounding areas!

It was date night for my husband and I. We walked in and the Atmosphere was meh. We wanted to sit in a booth. They had 4 large booths along the Right wall. A waitress came to us and we wanted to sit in a both. All 4 booths were empty. We asked in one of them. We were told its for 9 ppl. I said they are all empty. She went to talk to the Mgr. We just walked out. Very blah, too bright, for a bar atmosphere

I love this place. We are from out of town and found this place near where we were staying and completely enjoyed it. The bartenders, Logan, Brooke, Crystal and Lisa, all great, and the friends in the bar. Very welcoming. Met so many nice people. If you want a friendly place to go to, this is your place. By the way the food is amazing. The catfish was wonderful. The fish and chips, delicious! And everyone I spoke to loved their food.

I was a regular customer (just TBH, they had great burgers) until my friend s phone was stolen by an employee at establishment. MOST of the bartenders and employees are wonderful and I was happy to tip up to 80% to the great people there. Management should know that they have thieves working for them. Review the footage - my friends phone was pinging until they obviously pulled the SIM card and then there was no signal. Then, all of the sudden it miraculously started pinging again at 4AM. These employees turned the phone back on and threw it into some rocks (an area that was previously searched) And, even though the phone was on when it was stolen, it did not ring. And again, miraculously it rang in the rocks later that morning after it started pinging again. AND, to rope it all off, they had them banned in order to cover up their thievery. As long as these 2 are employed by this establishment, I just want people to know that your property is not safe there.

Went in for drinks after a work Christmas party. I was having fun and used a colloquial word common among my friends and used pretty ironically. An African American bartender proceeded to belittle me, calling me a child in front of my peers and demanding my ID saying that only children use that word. It continued on. It is so ugly to make a spectacle out of someone because they speak differently than you. I did not order a drink after that, and my boyfriend left without finishing his. We will not be back.

Tailgaters is a great spot for a couple beers with the boys. The potato wedges were really good but the tenders were not so good. I would always return to Tailgaters as like I said it s a great spot for a beer but I don t want people to get their expectations too high when it comes to the food. The staff are also really really good.

Dark and dingy, bad atmosphere. Employees party and are on their phones, dont focus on customers. Bartenders that drink, pass out free drinks to friends and free pour. Weve given this 5 tries, and we are still 0 for 5. So much for a convenient location. The chicken wings were raw and the sauce was not what we asked for. I did notice that some of the positive reviews on here are from current employees and friends. I wonder what the owner(s) would think of this and the experience(s) that Ive had.

Was a very loyal customer but something major changed. Never paid more than 25 for 3 drinks, then each day over the last 3 days price increased by double each day. I even ordered a cheaper type drink.. went from makers mark to Jim beam and price double for a much cheaper drink..... Literally one day 3 drinks makers, 22 buks, next day 3 Jim beam 38 buks.....come on... thats horrible... dont go here the manager is forcing the bartenders in a really bad position...... bartenders rang me up for something called Woodford, but I ordered Jim beam...I argued and they said the manager said to do this,. Bartenders agree with my gripe, but said they cant do anything about it.... I just want to go somewhere where its the same price every day for the same thing....like going going to McDonalds and ordering a Big Mac for 6 bucks then going to the same McDonalds the very next day and the menu says six bucks but they make you pay $18

This is one of the dirtiest bars I have been too. Staff is slow and don t communicate well with customers. Only pay attention so what seem to be regulars. A 22 oz Miller Lite was 7.50 for the type of place that it highly overpriced. I ve been to prime steak houses in dallas and paid less for a Miller Lite. Terrible experience and will not go back. Work on your staff and your prices. Your charging almost 40% higher on your beer than local places with better service. Make changes to whoever the owner is.

The wait staff was very friendly, prompt, and they had cheap drinks. The food however was boaderline terrible. Some of the wings were literally hard as a bone, their chili was warmed over mess that got my SO sick, and the little window into kitchen had me wondering what we were in for. This place would probably not pass Gordon Ramsey s kitchen Nightmares. #OneandDone

1 star is insanely generous. I was told by the bartender I wasnt welcome back because I wrote a negative review a few months back. I couldnt find that I ever did, just someone else in my party. But the review is completely deserved. The bartenders are rude and ignorant and any dollar spent there could be better spent at any other establishment in the area. My husband and I took our eight and four year old to Tailgaters for the first time this evening and had an incredible time! It had been months since we have done anything and we were able to enjoy a spacious time on the patio and feel attended to and safely social distanced! Our server Wendy was top of the line! Small, dirty and in disrepair. Food is okay. Drinks are overpriced. Can t keep good bartenders so they have to hire bartender school dropouts. From what I can count they ve gone through at least 6 bartenders in the last year. Only plus is the big patio. In conclusion. Bad service. Okay food. Overpriced drinks. Plano location is better or any of the other 100 bars within 20 miles of the this bar .

I had food delivered from there before and it was great. The last time, I dined in. We both ordered the chicken fried steak and it was cooked in old oil, with the meat the thickness of typing paper. We ve just moved to the area and tried Tailgators for a quick bite. This place is COOL. It is what a neighborhood sportsbar should be. Good food, friendly service, cold beer. Staff makes you feel like a regular . Thomas, the manager, is hands on and takes great care of you. We ve already been back again! Planning to make this our local spot , once we get settled!

First time and last time.... Went because we were excited for something new along 380 and 423. Took 45 minutes to get a burger and philly cheesesteak. Then when I got my check I was charged for 3 beers and not the two I had. Sad because it was a nice place and my grandson loved the burger. This morning I check and was charged for the tip I originally left and crossed out after the extra beer charge. WOW!!! I need the manager or owner to provide contact info please because this is borderline theft.

Woke up this morning to my account overdrawn because this place added a 7 in front of my $11 tab. So i left a $700 tip???Cmon something had to look off when balancing the books, right??? Ive called the bank and disputed the charge but until then im still over drawn. Be careful and check your accounts!!

We visited for our first time, looking for some wings. I got Cajun Cowboy and mango peach habanero, my wife got garlic parmesan. We got the kids corn dog meal and changed the fries into garlic ones wed heard about. Everything was good! I loved the mango wings! The cowboy was OK, very heavy on black pepper, it reminded me of a rub for bbq in sauce form. My wife gar par was very good, the sauce was creamy... almost an Alfredo and would have been great on pasta. My daughter ate all of her corn dogs and we all helped to finish those delicious garlic fries! Well be back!

Service was horrible the Blonde hair blue eyed little girl was lousy, I came to grab a late lunch around two o clock and there was six ppl in the building an they took 26mins to acknowledge me standing at the bar waiting to be seated and another 10 mins to give me a menu. I was hungry an left, I ll never come back. Mind you I m a black man and felt very disrespected and discriminated. Plus it was a hole in the wall restaurant, this place doesn t belong in my city of Frisco.

My friends and I just went in today. A blonde girl with tattoos sit us outside when it was pouring because she said the place was at its maximum capacity when it was les than ten people inside, we went outside, it wasnt a big deal she took our orders and never came back outside. We left the place. Its such a shame, we really wanted to try the place out since we are new to Frisco and we live right across the street. Mind you we are Hispanics and we felt very discriminated. Never going back again.

Came to watch the Cowboy fight here first time here & had a great time, the bartenders make sure they check up on every indiviual from what I seen, wings are great and service very reliable havent seen no other bar compete with this one!

I had a plain old burger, messed up my condiments but a suggestion for yall is to make sure you mention how you like your hamburger cooked, while it was not bad, but for me it was too well done, but it was my fault for not mentioning how I like it cooked...the order was great dont get me wrong, eventhough my order was wrong it was corrected immediately. I am satisfied with that so please please dont get me wrong here...my only thing was the condiments were wrong and it was cooked beyond my likes but was not bad.
