Michael Busy was my attorney for my divorce and child custody. I have nothing but amazing things to say about him and his team. My case was pretty complicated, I filed for divorce, I already had a child parent order in place via attorney general since 2016. Michael was able to get me my divorce and fight a parent child custody modification-requested by other party/parent. I had primary custody with no geographic region and was able to keep that and a few other things that were very important to me. Most rudest customer service from a representative. Please don t call to ask questions , she treated me like I was ignorant , when all I wanted was to ask a question. Mrs. Mandy was her name but not only was she rude but did not answer none of my questions, angrily by the way. I recommend who ever she works for to teach her good customer service and when someone chooses you out of 100 of competitors I would suggest to them to have their staff treat people with more respect. If I could I wouldnt leave a star, I didnt even get to speak to a lawyer the customer service is horrible the phone was answered by a simple hello no law firm name no how can I help you, I asked to speak to a lawyer and she said that no one is in the office and when I asked her when can I talk to one she says I dont know when they will be in, she didnt ask for my name, a number they can call back on. After an awkward moment of silence of my waiting for her to ask for my details or for her to speak I hanged up! This is not a law firm because a professional business will at least hire someone with good customer service. Update: Please see response of the owner just to see the professionalism, take ownership for the mistake of your staff, this is not a connection issue as I was calling from the United States and your assumption that I am calling from Russia is just off putting and just weird to even assume that from a written review (FYI I am Canadian in case you want to make another assumption) I did find a good law firm with staff that knew how to answer the phone, announce the law firms name when answering the phone and actually take my information for a callback.

this firm is the worst. you get an estimate and paid in full and then they send you more billes that neither they know how to explained. The lawyers that are working in your case are changing every time . You asked for them and they told me that they are no longer working at the firm. They are thiefs . You hired them to represent you and they make you feel that they work for the other party . I called to asked something about my case and they charge me for every single call that they received . Either that they have a mistake (they used the wrong last name ) and I called several times to fixed because they continued send me the paperwork with the incorrect name and yep they charged me for that . They will try their best to fight for you and win! They were understanding about issues whether financial or personal and they re willing to work with you if there are any problems or concerns. Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of people but I m sure they were just very busy. Well I had seen other attorneys for a divorce that were crazily overpriced wanted $5k, and I had put off my divorce. Luckily I came across Busby and associates through Facebook. Busby and associates were cheaper and more courteous. I had a consultation and was put at ease. I paid money down and they accepted a later payment Also. Melissa was very helpful as was my attorney Andrew Iwata. Very nice and they were always courteous when I would check on my case. I did not even have to go to court which really put me at ease, I just signed an affadavit. I received a copy of my divorce decree via email today and they were sending one regular mail. I like that! Anyway all in all he was a very professional caring attorney. And very good at what they do making it as clear to you for it to get it over with! I was reccomendded to contact this attorney for family law, I was very clear abouy my financial ability in my inquiry. At our first appointment, the assitant actually knew very little about family law and was saying many things that were completely contradictory to presidented case law that I have researched over a seven year period. I was basically told that I could pay for a non refundable retainer of 3500 up front or I could break the law. I would not go here for legal services. They are not dressed professionally, with bleach stained jeans and t-shirts. Their staff apparently dont know very much about case law, and they are only about the money, not about results.

I am very happy with the finalization of my divorce. mike and his staff was very helpful and patience. It was times i was upset that things where moving slow and i was not always nice about it. they where understanding and stayed professional. Except it is one black haired girl at the front desk that needs help in that area. She doesnt seem to follow up on things. Corin is the best i loved her. She knows everything about your case. Mike was great during mediation. he explains everything to you and makes sure you understand whats going on. They work with you and let you make payments. He also gave me an AWESOME discount on my final bill. His price was very reasonable compares to my ex lawyer fees. no discount for anything and they asked for lump sums of payments. they did not let him make payments like mike allows you to do. So glad i decided to go with busby & associates. We settled in mediation and i got everything i asked for in reason. Mike advised me on what was worth fighting for and what was not. He advised me to try to settle in mediation if possible due to more lawyer fees if we had to go to trial. So i never felt he was just out to run up a lawyer fee to charge me. It was definitely going to be one heck of a fight given my ex had some serious mental health issues and a lot of financial backing. Mike advised me on what he thought was best but also went to bat for me when I insisted on doing things a different way. The other attorney was putting up quite a fight from the beginning - taking her clients word for face value - and by the time all was said and done she didnt even come to the final mediation for her client. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone going through a divorce or custody battle. He has now handled both for me and I couldnt be happier with the outcome.

I went to Corina and Mike when I had to go back to court for my custody case. I knew my case would be a tough one to win due to Texas being a mother state. Mike and Corina did everything within their ability to win the case. Corina was able to give the the attentiveness I needed when I needed it. Mike is fearless and hard fighting. When an attorney tries to be funny and mocks your situation just because he doesnt think there will be a case, extremely unprofessional. Here his answer to my question about suing the state for losing my child. Here it is: I would not be able to help you with this type of case, nor would I be able to give you a referral. Sir u filed forged paperwork and Im very suspicious it may have been your idea for an ex of a past client..u are reason my kids are abandoned in the Philippines with no family being raised by teen nanny that has no children..you made me look like I agreed to divorce but I did not...i even filed an answer stating I didnt. I hope you can see the affects it has on 2 beautiful well raised kids..i changed 98 percent if diapers while wife was busy getting drunk and abandoning children..its been almost 2 years and the mom is in United States . Leaving them. ..and still they are not back..u can tell I tried to avoid her going to jail..but hired a handwriting expert that can state thats not my signature ...its from a left handed person..see I initialed everything I signed in agreed custody..never divorce decree. And I suspect you are the brain behind a 1 and 4 year old gets left in 3rd world count0ry while mother is busy showing pictures getting drunk in converts and very often..she even broke her tooth falling on floor from alcoholism .i wish u call me because Im a good soul and u can tell...after I purchased many companies in philippines..you know I was scammed by her and her ex husband .for you knew she had given full custody of her 3 past children to him..the youngest was only few months old..i paid all expenses since I wanted to provide a home for her and her children..her x was unemployed.he used the credit i helped him get through me paying home and vehicle for 7 years at high 9 percent interest..so you can see..thwy are American citizens and you promoted them living abroad.. It can resemble and repr3sent what you stand for..a.dollar over being a man that stands up for whats right and not promote parentless children being left in 3rd world country..you knew by her giv8ng her past 3 kids away that being a mother is not important to her life. Yall broke my spirit..and still recovering..they were my best friends I wish you can see our videos..

I hired Mr. Busby in July of 2015 for my divorce. He was my third lawyer for this divorce case and I already went through mediation with another counselor; my ex-wife s attorney were playing games. Only when I hired Mike, I begin to fill comfortable in such uneasy times for me, he listened to my concerns and gave the best advice. Unfortunately another party drag this case which was mostly around property rights to the court. Well, with Mr. Busby on my side, Judge ruled SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER SETTLEMENT, than was in my offer before case went to the court. I also would like to note his reasonably negotiable attorney fees. I am definitely glad to have use Mr. Busby and I will absolutely recommend him, my only regret that I did not hire him as my first attorney.

MIKE BUSBY IS MY LAWYER IN A FAMILY LAW CASE.MY CASE IS VERY COMPLICATED..FROM THE VERY START HE ALWAYS LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS AND GAVE THE BEST ADVICE TO ME. Hired Mike for family law case. He was late and hard to understand. But he tore up the other lawyer and my husband. It seems all he wanted to do was fight.
