As beautiful and very unique this place is, the amount of frustration we experience wasn t acceptable. For an event that was promoted on social media, they weren t prepared for their guest. Waving the waitress down nonstop because our drinks took over 30min. Drinks were good, but over 30min waiting was not acceptable, and waitress was in such a bad mood

The absolute worst service by a waitress I have ever had!! Distillery was ill prepared for the event they was promoting. Staff never came by to check on us and only came by when we waved her down!! Had asked for several drinks and food items and repeated back several times only for to still come out missing or wrong.

Do not make reservations at this place! My friends and I made reservations for a tour and tasting to celebrate my birthday. Three days before the tour was scheduled we all got an email stating that no tours will be given because of a product launch that day. No offer of refunds in the email. I called the same day I got the email and spoke with Edgar, the manager. He gave me the option of keeping the reservation or refunding all of our reservations. I chose the refund. We were able to refund all my friends reservations and my husband s, however the full amount paid was not refunded. They do not refund the service charge or tax! Also, I have STILL not received a refund for my reservation. I replied to the email and called the establishment multiple times. I was only able to reach some one through phone calls. After I finally connected with Edgar on the phone, they struggled to find my reservation. I had an email confirmation. Eventually, after a few minutes Edgar finally found my reservation and said he would refund the tour, but it never came. After refunding my friends tours they all got a text message and email showing the refund. I have received no such message and nothing has been credited to my bank. This is very poor practice on their part and though I m only one person, I will never visit this place. I was really looking forward to it and this whole experience just put a bad taste in my mouth. I hope this review keeps another person from experiencing what I did.

The Tasting Room is actually a great hidden gem that I hope gets more business. The atmosphere is awesome and the food is very good. The reason for just 3 stars is because the service was very slow (and we were one of only two tables) and my order was wrong and had to be redone. Maybe this was a one off, so I will definitely give them another try. Btw, they did bring us a free sample of a peanut butter jalapeño bourbon that was extremely good! I ended up getting a bottle.

The wife and I showed up for the tour and flight tasting. Unfortunately, the tours were canceled this day but the manager was very accomodating and our experience was superb. We received multiple appetizers and tastings that more than made up for the tour not being available. We will be coming back for sure. Highly recommended.

While touring the Texas Whisky Trail, I stopped in to see what Giant Texas Distillery was all about. This place has a very nice setup with a huge tasting room that has plenty of seating. We tried various whiskys to include some amazing Cognac that they had to offer. In addition, we tried some food that really surprised us - the loaded fries were AMAZING! This distillery is certainly huge and on the path to doing great things. It is awesome to see that they are growing to a size where they can source whisky to other Texas distilleries. This would be a HUGE step for small distilleries and keeping it local. Overall, I was really surprised by the quality, service, and overall great experience at Giant. Check out their steak nights! This place was such an awesome surprise. We went for a tamale festival (which was yummy, but not a lot of vendors) but the distillery was beautiful and the cocktails were good. The bartender was a wealth of knowledge despite being busy. Jasmin provided great service. The place and owner has an awesome back story. They could do some serious events with the size and location. Would love to see more out there.

The food catered by establishment was awful. Tyson frozen fajitas would have been better. The refried beans were canned and have no idea what the rice was supposed to be, and the guacamole was inedible as it was soaked in lime juice to retain color. The signature drink of a Manhatten in photos is pretty but they dont have all ingredients nor know how to make it. The best thing I had was a diet coke. The establishment is NOT ADA friendly as they say they are by haveing an elevator under the stairs. They do have an elevator, however it was locked with power turned off and no way to contact onsite personnel or notice that lift was out of service. I had to climb up 2 flights of stairs on hands and knees to meet for a special event. I told the manager when I arrived about lift, he said I probably didnt push the right button to which I said the door was locked which covered button and power box was turned off. He ckd and thanked me to which I said ok so it will be unlocked when I leave right ...he just walked away. When I left elevator was still locked and I and another disabled man had to be helped out by other guests. The establishment states its in the historic east side of Denver Harbor. The only thing historic about this district is it has been warehousing district and known for high crime since the 1970s. The parking lot is not secure and without security. Dont mistake this place with other establishments in the area such as Original Ninfas that ensures its patrons and their vehicles are safe with onsite visible security presence. This place is not ADA compliant, nor does it attempt to provide a secure and safe environment. There was noone in the parking lot nor controlling who went in and out the OPEN DOORS.

He DEF knows his $%#! when it comes to the process, types and flavors of the GCD. Which didnt make us hesitate to make a purchase. Ps. Havnt forgot about the black walnut bitters! 5 star atmosphere 4 star service 1 star knowledge 2 star bourbon The 95 and 100 proof bourbon lacked any kind of complexity or character. Almost like flavors were from an additive versus aging in a barrel. I asked the bartender about the distillery, he didnt even know what a mash bill was. If I was invited to a friends event, I would come back. I would not come on my own again. Not bad, nor good.

This place is great. The owner is a book of knowledge. My wife and I enjoy talking to them. The whiskey is some of the best Ive ever had. The rye is not overly powdered by the pepper note allowing other flavors to come through. The wheat is smooth and welcoming with honey and vanilla flavors. The bourbon is what i would call a very classic bourbon pepper on front and a caramel on the finish.

We were in town for a few days and my Brother knows how I like Distilleries and Burbon, so we made plans for a visit. We didnt take the tour, but as you go up to the tasting room / restaurant you get to see a small part of the business. We got there probably around 3:00 pm. Once upstairs you come into a very large room with lots of tables and a large bar, I can imagine they do a pretty brisk business after 5:00. I loved the decor, it was welcoming and comfortable for that type of venue and there wre some people setting up for a party. One of the staff met us at the table and explained what they made here and gave us food and drink menus. I wanted to sample some of the items they make so I got a flight of their whiskeys which included some white dog, and 2 of the Gins they make, and my wife got a sample of their Vodka. My wife liked their Vodka and she bought a bottle, but I found none of their whiskey or gins to my liking. Their food menu looked good, but we didnt try anything since we already had lunch.

Had an awful experience today ,First of all they had a 2 private events so they had valet us as regular customer we drove in and ask the valet about what was goin on they said it was two events so I ask Can we go in and get drinks they said yes and they valet our vehicles ,there was nobody guarding in entrance so we went in and walked just in to the bar ,We even order drinks and as they were about to serve us a lady asked us if we were with the party of attorneys or anniversary we said none we just came to get a drink ,by than the manager Hispanic guy with glasses came up to us knowing us as regular customers came up to us and said it was a private event we couldn t be there and made us feel very small and acted like we were doing something bad and told us we couldn t order any drinks at all and didn t apologized for nobody telling us that it was a private event ,when we parked or at the door so he walked us all the way outside and kept telling us that there was a sign outside that said private event and we we couldn t be there ,Watched us all the way out to the parking lot like we stole something ,made us feel very uncomfortable and could of told us what events they were doing in a more professional way and not degrade us the way he did . Unfortunately we won t be going back again to this place because of the way the manager handled the situation with us .

One thing that I gave 4 starts due to pricing on flights. While they have varity of flights, price should be more affordable, as the pour for each one isnt that a lot. Dogs welcome Highly recommend you give this place a try. Had a flight of Tejas beer and a few mixed drinks. Their horchata cocktail was delicious. Really nice atmosphere and spacious. If you want a day or night out with your dogs this is the place. Staff was very friendly and accommodating for the dogs. They brought them water with garnishes and everyone wanted to pet them when they werent busy serving. I will definitely be back.

Dont judge it by how the outside looks! Very clean on the inside and their whiskey taste great! Drinks were great and the venue is amazing. I think they are working their way to a five star. I was able to order food on the happy hour menu, some friends joined later and they werent able to get anything to eat because a new menu was being prepared for some event. It was unfortunate that as more people were coming in, no food was available and the staff was struggling a bit, the three waitresses I had were new. Looking forward to being back hopefully all the kitchen and staff gets up to speed as they continue to grow and more people show up!!

Super nice place! They distill their own liquor on site and have whiskey, gin, and vodka. They also brew 2 beers. I have had both the ipa and their light beer and both were great. Excellent cocktails as well. But the real star is the food! Some of the best burgers in town, killer smoked wings, and man their smoked salsa and home made chips are some of the best I have ever had! And to top it all off its a beautiful space with very frendly service. Definitely a must visit in the East End!

Came here for the distillery tour of the facility which was outstanding! Explained the distillery process in full detail and gained much knowledge of how whiskey is made . Food and drinks were excellent and recommend to stop by if you are in the area.

This place is a blast. The tasting room has plenty of tvs and is a really cool venue to hang out in. The food is really good (barbeque burger and brussel sprouts are A+) and the drink are top notch Besides the Giant flight, try the Dark and Smokey, and the Gin & Tonic). Also really great to support a local Houston business. I highly recommend stopping by.

The setting is very elegant. This is not your typical tasting room. Cocktails are vary tasty and the beer was crisp and refreshing. Food is also available and I would recommended the brussel sprouts.

I tried to buy sanitizer for my people from the small company I have and they only allow me to buy more than 10 drums the minimum and a 264 gallon tote, for my economic availability I am not up to buying them due to the critical moment we are going through with it. covid-19, I thought it was a more accessible company with small companies.....and with the person who spoke very sharply in the conversation I felt ignored, because the guy said he was very, very busy, customer service appalling

Awesome Christmas party, ambiance was wonderful! Crazy at the bar but the bartenders handled it like champs!!! Food was amazing! If you don t do well with stairs, it was a hike, I don t know if they have an elevator for those who can t.

My wife and I attended the tasting room opening. The signature bourbon, Giant, Is a giant failure. This is some cheap rotgut. Very hard to drink. Most expensive paint stripper in the world.

Soft opening! They took over an old Bens rice factory. Soon to be the biggest disterilly west of the Mississippi! They will have beer near October! Food is to come as well in the future. Id definitely come back here in October when they are fully operational!

Im from Alabama. Just drove up to the distillery. A guard at a gate told me I wasnt allowed to visit. Crazy Sure looked good on the web site.
