Came to Houston for a night and caught a 2nd DUI . Only had to show up to court once. Mr. Martinez and Natalie organized everything with me being in Florida and was very communicative with possibilities and their strengths. They are the best lawyers in Houston . After googling several attorneys and read all the reviews, I spoke to Mr. Martinez and he gave me straight truth and options, I agreed to his representation for the 2 cases I had pending I needed them dismissed. I didnt meet Mr. Martinez until the day of court and as he strutted into that court room interrupting the judge while he was with another person, the judge had a huge smile said hello to Mr. Martinez and they had a few words, judge was all smiling after. Thats when I knew I had picked the perfect attorney.When it was my turn to see the judge Mr. Martinez was on top of it. A lot of leniency I think or just Gods grace but I was able to get 6 months probation for both cases along with some classes and such but so worth it. I finished my 6 months 2 days prior to the mark date and judge signed that day. Hes paid by Harris county to have you plea your case. Nothing more to say. Update, with that said did you perform your duties like, conduct interviews? Whether by person or phone? Did you follow any leads I gave you? How is it a lawyer that is supposed to be defending someone doesnt go by the same rule book as say another attorney from the public defenders office. One that has a superior, one that can be reprimanded for a sub-par job at defending someone who faces substantial time. You did next to nothing. Even pulled yourself from the case when I confronted you... With that said you could be an ace when it comes to a DUI case. But since Harris county WAS paying you, why would you bite the hand that feeds you.. truth cant be labeled as slander if said one time to straighten the record. If you say you defended me to the best of your ability, then that was the best you had to offer. Good day Mr. Martinez. UPDATE TO YOUR REPLY... You tried to have yourself excused from the case right? Because I wouldnt sign after going to court for two years. You had too many cases you were working on. Fact... Did you file ANY paper work for discovery on my behalf nope, did you interview the officers? Nope. Why didnt you bring up the fact in court the body cam footage that would have cleared me was gone? Even though HPD had policies in place mandating it be on; per House Resolution. A defense attorney that is paid by the courts that are prosecuting your client sir is distasteful.... Case was dismissed. Please hire this team. The very first time I called them about my case ( a day after my arrest ) they immediately took over and honestly the price was very fair. The price was honestly lower than I expected. Natalie answered the phone and she s super sweet and straight to the point. They make you a client portal with all important documents, documents from court are uploaded, you can upload initial documents from court such as papers from pre trial services when you re first arrested so they know what your case is about and what they re working with. Messages can be sent back and fourth between you and them, they answer your calls every time, and you are given their phone numbers for any questions or concerns. You will receive emails any time there are updates to your court date, and emails any time there is something uploaded/posted on your client portal. Communication is so easy. My case had all the evidence in the world and Herman, Natalie and Izzy were able to get my case dismissed, all I had to do was take a 2hr class and pay restitution. I definitely thought I d be facing heavier consequences but all thanks to them, my case was dismissed!! I was so stressed throughout the 6 months of just waiting, and I m so so grateful to have been represented by y all. Id like to publicly say thank you. This man was incredibly rude and dismissive. Barely gave me any information as I was inquiring about his services. Made it seem like I was doing him a disservice by taking my call. Acted as if he was too good to help. Very disgusting attitude and unhelpful. Did not care about my situation nor did he sound like he had any intentions on assisting me in the first place.
