Hello, I wanted to formally give you and your team some feedback regarding my case. I received some unfair charges in 2023 for defending my life. And unfortunately the court system did not see it that way, and charged me with up to 20yrs or more in prison. When I received that notice/information, I thought my life was over. I have my daughter s life in my hands, who relied on me, in which made me feel like what will I do. What will happen to my children and family that depended on me? This review is long overdue. I looked at both my children now 19 and 17 yrs old and always think back on how he helped my family and I. My son was then 1 going on 2 and I was about to give birth to my daughter. I literally found him in the phone book after being done so bad by another attorney. The case was for my then husband at the time. But I was responsible for finding help and coming up with the funds. He (Sam Adamo) and Rebekka Peltzman were literally angels. They turned a living nightmare and stress on a pregnant young wife into such relief. The way he worked out that case and worked with me in regards to payments. I still to this day thank God and wish him and Rebekka continued success. As he (Sam Adamo) crosses my mind from time to time often. I cant help but to literally think of where we would have been or what would have happened had he not taken my call or concerns to heart showing up for us the way he did. As well too, Rebekka. Sam Adamo stole from me. I prematurely hired him after being charged with an assault. DA dropped the charges within weeks, no trial no court hearings NOTHING!!!! he literally did NO work whatsoever, but , refused to give my 5k back. SHAMR ON YOU. Sam Adamo, Esq and his team is just the law firm you need on your team. He does an excellent job of balancing his professional skills and expertise, as well as humanizing what was a frustrating situation. We were very impressed with Esq. Adamos knowledge and equally impressed with his personality! Long story short, we were in and out of the courtroom within 10 minutes, tops, and the case was thrown out! Sam Adamo was referred to me by a friend, and came highly recommended. After our initial conversation on Thursday evening, he went to work for me first thing Friday morning. He was there every step of way. His calm demeanor and reassuring attitude helped to get not only myself, but also my parents through a very difficult time. My experience with Sam Adamo and his firm was not a good one. In fact I am writing this review from prison. While it is definitely not his fault that I am where I am, Mr. Adamo did not put forth the due diligence to prevent it. I hired Sam Sr. because of his reputation as a self proclaimed Super Lawyer. I met with Sam Sr and his son, the meeting went good. They assured me that there was a lot to be done and gave reassurance that no rock would be left unturned. That could not have turned out to be farther from the truth, when all said and done Sam Sr. did not look at any of the evidence that pertained to my case. He never filed a motion for discovery, never looked at the video, didnt look at the chain of custody on the blood warrant or anything else. This is a DWI case. In fact, all he did was show up for court and handle the plea deal. When I asked him about all the evidence and why he had not done any of the work he guaranteed he would and then he stated Do you want to set a trail date and informed me that would be an additional expense involved. For the type of money he was paid, I expected him to take my case seriously and thoroughly examine the evidence to find weaknesses that could have been used as leverage as it pertained to my case, he did not even put forth the effort. I find myself severely disappointed and cannot believe in his ratings and reviews as so positive if this is how he handles his clients. I dont know if Sam Sr. is getting older and trying to transition into retired life and Sam Jr. is occupied with personal life, but in my case the effort was not there. I got the type of effort that I would expect from a sub-par court appointed counsel for the price I expected from a Super Lawyer. From the beginning, nothing went as I was told it would and I hate that this firm will accept these huge fees and do so little for their clients. I personally witnessed multiple lawyers who charged a fraction of the price as Sam Adamo who did a much better job and produced a much better result for their client. I would definitely reconsider other options for legal representation because I can as assure you there are better alternatives. As I sit in prison I can only write this review, write a complaint with the State Bar for Defense Counsel and hope that Mr. Adamo does not treat other clients the way he treated me.
