I LOVE this man. Seriously! He saved my life. I was falsely accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by my crazy ex during a divorce and custody battle. The people who are able to give you an accurate honest review are in prison - he represented my cousin Andres - but because of Ed s horrible lack of representation he went to prison for 25 years - Chernoff didn t care my cousin paid him in full and he didn t do anything to help him and fight his case- once you paid him either in full or payments Chernoff doesn t have any motivation to do anything for you and fight for you - God is my witness I m not exaggerating about this review

Ed Chernoff did what my husband and I thought would be impossible. Our son got into some serious trouble which left little hope of not ruining/changing his life for good. I needed an expuntion for a criminal offense i had over 4 years ago. My previous lawyer was original suppose to accomplish this task for me and did not. I call Chernoff Law Firm and within a week had filed for my expuntion and kept me updated while I was waiting to get it. Also they gave me a detailed explanation as to how the expungement works and what all it entails. Chernoff law assistant Gina Tyroch was very sympathetic and well informed as called and kept me updated throughout the process. These guys are great and there work speaks for itself.

Honestly, if you have a big case that your livelyhood depends on DO NOT HIRE this attorney. Very unprofessional and unorganized. His staff was late they would not communicate with each Other. If I had a question it was a hassle to answer I mean he had no motivation to beat the case it was a complete waste I feel like he did the minimum he could. On the same token I did a couple things that did not help me but at the same time I felt like as an attorney its his duty to resolve those issues . At the end of the day he believes he did good in reality he did not ..my advice to someone seeking excellent console is to do extensive research go visit them and talk to others that are in the same situations dont just read reviews as i did.

We have hired Ed Chernoff to defend my son in 4 different cases in the last 3 years. We were referred to Ed by my in-laws as they too had a wonderful outcome with their youngest son years prior. I respect people who are straight forward and tell it like it is. Ed fits this to a tee. He has never misled or given us any false hope. What can I say. Mr. Chernoff is a bulldog in that courtroom, respected by everybody. After a year of back and fourth to the court house, today was a victory. I didnt have a spotless record but Mr. Chernoff was able to get what we set out for in the beginning. My advice is if you are looking for a good attorney this is your guy. He showed that he cared about his clients and take pride in his achievements in that courtroom & he is straight forward too and will not B/S you. When I was accused of domestic assault, I did my homework and through online reviews and his website I met with Mr. Chernoff about my case. He was very professional and clearly explained the process, cost and expected time frame for my case. Mr. Chernoff was able to get my initial court hearing moved up so that I could get back home and get some normalcy back at home and at work. As being away from my family was hard for all of us during the holidays and for unexpected home emergencies. I had been accused of domestic assault in 2013. With the help of my parents and the internet I retained Ed Chernoff. He guided me through the legal system which included the bond process followed by two years of multiple resets. I went to trial in June of 2015. Mr. Chernoff was everything I wanted in a Lawyer. He is honest and professional and will not sugarcoat the process. And Trust me, its a process. Last summer, I was charged with possession of marijuana 5-50 pounds. Its a third degree State felony and can get you 2-10 years in a State prison and/or a fine of $10000. While in custody, the police would try to intimidate me. They said if I tried to fight the case in court they would slap more charges on me. The police assured me my best bet was to plead guilty or cooperate with the detectives, because the evidence against me was far too great for any other option. I received several consultations from well known lawyers around Houston. They said best case scenario, I could get probation and maybe get my felony dropped down to a misdemeanor. Then a friend recommended me to Ed Chernoff. I spoke with Ed and told him the facts about my case. Right off the bat he seemed optimistic about getting the whole case dismissed. At first I was taken back a little because getting my charges dropped was never even an option to me! After reading his impressive reviews online and hearing his great success rate I decided to hire him. He immediately went to work for my defense. He took care of everything in a very professional way. Anytime I needed to contact him or ask for help, he always there. He broke down the process of things in ways I could easily understand. After working non stop in my favor we finally had everything we needed to file for a Motion to Suppress (throwing out the evidence). And sure enough our motion was granted and my case was DISMISSED! I couldnt believe it. I went from being completely hopeless to everything dropped. No jail time and no felony on my record. Its like the whole thing never even happened. If you are looking for lawyer to just go through the motions with you and receive results that are good enough.. then by all means go with them. I am deeply grateful for the talent and representation of attorney Ed Chernoff and his law office. I had errant offspring and protecting the future of said offspring, while providing a second chance to learn better, was of utmost concern. My experience with Chernoff Law was nothing less than professional. From day one, after hearing what happened, Ed told me he would help me get through my case, and there was a good chance it would get dismissed. He said it would be a process, going through all of the court orders, license suspensions, etc but in the end, everything would be resolved. It was a nervous 8 months waiting for the court to supply needed information, but Ed came through on his word, and my case WAS dismissed, and license was never suspended. I would highly recommend Chernoff Law to anyone that needs the assistance of an attorney.
