Cool spot to grab a quick bite and a beer or cocktail. There is a variety of in-house brewed beer. Staff was friendly and the place has a relaxed vibe. It does very pretty crowded for Formula 1 though so plan your visit accordingly. They are walking distance from the Red Line at Burnett.

I hosted my husband s 70th bday at Gristworkz. The staff were helpful and accommodating (even changed up the music - unasked - for our older crowd). Appreciated being able to serve bar drinks for non beer lovers. Food was good and plentiful. Our group of 50 had a great time on a Sunday afternoon. And the beer was a hit! RECOMMEND!

To see such great reviews I had to try it only to be disappointed in the food. Patty was the size of a McDonalds big mac patty, lettuce was brown and Ive had more flavor in a PBnJ Sandwich. Especially for the Price

Great neighborhood bar and grill that just happens to be a brewery. Welcoming to all. Dog friendly porch and plenty of bike parking. I had the Hardy Hop beer and the Hardy burger with tots. Delish. Update: had the banh mi and it could use some improvement. Bread was good as was the pate, but the meat was not consistent through the sandwich. Dryer at the end than the beginning.

We are big beer fans (our bellies are proof of it) I bring my loved ones here BC I follow you guys in instagram and the vibes were awesome, the first interaction with bartender was not pleasant at all when my husband ask for the IPA on draft (we understand that there is a menu but a nice answer to engage with the customer does not take much time or energy from the bartender) food wise we are even, pizza flavor was really good just a little bit soggy. We left with a bitter sweet taste and with the feeling that we were at a food curt like truck yard or underground hall.

Went for steak night. Steak was 1-star, overcooked and bland. Cornbread and potato were also not great. Brussel sprouts and chicken wings were both delicious though. Beers are awesome. Id just skip the meal and get the wings n beer.

Great brewery with a strong menu. Went there for lunch at 11 AM on a Saturday. Ritchie welcomed us to the brewery, then ran through what was on tap and their food offerings before pouring us some of the breweries reverse osmosis water. I hate going somewhere and drinking some funky tap water with my beer l, so this was great. My beer faces were Who s Your Paddy? Irish Red and Hot Boi Blueberry/Raspberry Blonde Ale. Both were excellent, with the Side Gig Sour Ale and Gurl Dinner Stout getting honorable mentions. All were very drinkable session beers, great for enjoying in their fresh and open taproom. For lunch, we opted for a breakfast pizza off the brunch menu and some Brussels sprouts off their normal menu. The breakfast pizza crust had a chewy interior and a crisp exterior, perfectly done. Sausage, egg, and tots were supported by a delicious white sauce. The sprouts were seared in a Szechuan sauce and topped with pickled onions, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. I could have eaten those all day. Cannot recommend this place enough, and kudos to Richie (beer tender) and Bobby (chef) for their hospitality, excellent service, and engaging conversation.

Popped in on a whim, the look of the place drew us in. We hadnt had lunch, so we ordered a burger and two Vietnamese sandwiches. Great presentation on the sandwiches. The burger was soggy and I couldnt bring myself to have more than a bite. Other than that, the place is great. Clean and spacious with friendly service. Would definitely come back for drinks, as those were prepared perfectly!

My good friend lives right up the street and we were looking for a good spot close by to get a quick bite and some drinks. I guess this was previously a different brewery we didnt get to go to but now its more so of a bar with both beer and cocktails and an in-house kitchen that was pretty good. My fiance and I shared an order of tacos which were great and also an elote which was solid. We had a few cocktails and I had a neat bourbon and everything was priced very fair and tasted good. Id like to visit again and check out their beers. Friendly neighborhood bar that I recommend for small or large groups.

So my husband and I went for the F1 race. Saw the reviews so we decided to give it a shot. Arrived at 1030. We were told bar and kitchen won t start serving til 11am, which is fine. 1045 I see two guys walk away from the bar with beer. 1050 I go to the bar to order mimosas and I was told I couldn t be served until 11am. The bartender acknowledged that he had already served two patrons and that he had made a mistake ok. So I sit back down. 1058 am I noticed another patron had received a beer from the bar so I went back and asked if they were serving and was again told no. They could not explain to me why they were only serving some patrons while denying others. Really ruined the experience.

This was a nice surprise find on our part. The taproom was very clean and airy. The food and snacks were excellent, and the beer was good. I would like to see a wider variety of beers, but thats just a personal preference. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about what was on tap. All-star brewery and kitchen! These guys have a killer staff, super clean and spacious dining area (and restrooms), and all of the beers Ive tried here are delightful. Food is absolutely fantastic: yuca fries, fried to golden yellow perfection; red beans and rice, exquisitely seasoned and generously portioned; pizza, artfully striking that elusive sweet spot between too thin and too thick. Great variety and deals throughout the week to boot. The passion these guys have for food, drink, and hospitality shines through in their product and their work. My boyfriend and I love to play this game called, overrated or underrated, and Girstworkz falls on the underrated category. This place needs more presence in the social media scene cause so many people are missing out on this awesome bar. But then again, Id rather keep this place a secret. We have a long list of places we like to go to for bar steak nights and we came across Gristworkz. And let me tell you, ITS WORTH IT! Look, most places you get just the steak and ONE side, whether thats a baked potato or side salad. But here, you get way more than that. I hate that Im sharing this but its too good to not share how good this place is. For $25, you get a steak, side salad, roasted corn, baked potato, and buttered sourdough toast. WORTH. IT. PLUS you get half off wine. 5 buckaroos My only gripe is that the steak isnt consistent. Every time Ive asked for medium rare, Ive gotten well done every single time. The other sides make up for the overcooked steak. I hope they fix the temp if I say blue... But wait, theres more. On top of Wednesday steak nights, theres ALSO so many other deals EVERY SINGLE DAY. Seriously. Theres corn star combo on Mondays, pizza Tuesdays, steak nigh Wednesdays, burger Fridays. WHATS NOT TO LIKE?! The area is so close to the heights bike trail and its just in a great area overall. The area is quite developed and just up and coming. These social media influencers are slacking on the social media presence, cause Gristworkz the new hangout spot! But dont you worry, I gotchu.

Great place. Big, clean and spacious. Good selection of food, considering this is pretty much a bar. Ordered a steak. Not bad. Well seasoned, well plated and cook was good. Its not steak house quality, but I couldnt complain. Considering the price and the fact Im at a bar, it was great. Beer selection was a bit light, but prices and taste were very good. Disappointed by the Hot & Tangy sandwich twice! Thought the first time was just a fluke, but no. It consists of mostly the breading, maybe 2-3 ounces of actual chicken and fried bone dry. $12 dollars feels like a rip off for just a subpar sandwich. A previously established brewery, just rebranded. Located in the old Local Group brewing building. My husband really enjoyed the juicy IPA and I found the Peach Buzz to be my favorite. The new food menu is very basic - not like Local Group used to be at all. In all, we probably wont be back as nothing was so exciting that we would want to return.

Great food & brews! TVs surround the taproom to be able to watch local sports teams or for when they host the F1 watch parties. Everything Ive had on tap has been well done and the kitchen absolutely does not disappoint! Barbacoa or carnitas tacos with a freshly poured mimosa on Sundays after a long weekend, or the burger special for Friday lunch has been my favorite. Plenty of parking along the street or behind the building. Recommended spot!
