Drinks and snacks were good! Service was terrible though we ordered our drinks, finished them, and the female bartender with black straight hair disappeared for about 30 minutes. She was the only one here so we had no one assist us for that long.

Love this spot bartenders are great, pizza is delish, tater tots killing it, and dog friendly. This is the third iteration of the owl, and not at all disappointed. Great for parties, trivia if that s your thing, or just drinks!

Probably the best bar in Rice Village for a good drink and late night food Vibe is somewhere in between classy and fun, you can expect a dim lit atmosphere with centerpiece candles on the tables, a nice little patio and the owl motif throughout the bar. Service was cool. I ordered a ranch water and was offered salt or Tajin and it was really good Ok ok fine I had 2 ranch waters and they were fantastic. The lemon drop martinis were good too. There s a few different seating areas including a bank safe room with a few seats and shuffle board game in there too. I have to say my favorite part was the fact that the kitchen was open until 1 AM and they offer a nice variety of pizzas. Note these are not your typical frozen pizzas you would expect from a bar but a step or 2 above that. They re actually pretty good. I like the low-key vibe of this place. It s almost easy to miss if you re not looking for it but makes you feel extra cool once you re there. Cool spot to put on a nice shirt and enjoy a handcrafted drink or 2. Will be back!

Viron and Cian were super professional, courteous, and hospitable. Would definitely recommend this place if you like a super chilled vibe and a place with good priced drinks, great music, and overall just a great atmosphere. Felt like family here and these guys went above and beyond to make me and my friends feel at home almost effortlessly. Thanks guys; so happy!!

Stopped in for drinks after dinner upstairs. Great fun little bar/joint. Enjoyed the place and the location. Parking can be a challenge due to the 3 locations to dine right there next to each other, but otherwise a good late night spot. The bar staff and wait staff were perfect and friendly. The ambiance is eclectic and unique. Definitely a good spot to hang and socialize.

I can t believe the experience I had at this place. I am an African American female and the manager and whole environment thought it was OK for one drunk customer to call out the N-word several times with no remorse. All they did was have him go outside on the patio. Also after the situation they wanted to charge me for half of my bill. They did not kick the customer out, but yet patronized me, as if I was the outraged problematic customer. I will never go here again, and I suggest if you are a brown skin Person like me you steer clear !

The beer I had gotten (temptress nitro milk stout) tasted spoiled and I was treated rudely and rushed to make an order. I do like the scenery of the bar though, but I wish the bank vault was taken better advantage of for seating.

Excellent service and extremely cool concept. The bar use to be an old bank. The vault has been turned into part of the bar. Very cool. Original door to the vault is the entrance to that part of the bar. The service there is excellent. The night I was there (Monday) they had a tango club night. It was a different experience to watch they dance. They have a nice outside patio with a couple tables. Outside smoking is allowed in that area. Great experience overall. Would recommend to hangout and get a couple drinks.

Really chill spot with good deals on drinks. Definitely has a lot to live up to in the old Benjy s location, but I think that time will establish it as a go to bar. The vault and games are fun and Wednesday 50% off wine and whiskey can t be beat in that area. Plus, really great parking that s free! Bartender was nice, will be back again.

The previous establishment was kelvin arms and was happy to see that the new owners kept the bank vault! The have beer from local Texas breweries and a full bar with food. There s also daily happy hour (all day?) for draft beers for only $5! Then after 7pm, they have an additional happy hour for specific drinks depending on what day of the week it is. As for food, we shared the pepperoni pizza and was great. Like the other reviewers, its a thin crust/NY style pizza and had the right amount of toppings with the crust holding its weight. They also have complementary popcorn when you walk pass the bar. We werent able to go upstairs as it was only 4pm but I heard it opens later in the evening for wine maybe? Dont hold me to it. Overall, great experience and would recommend!
