I was really happy to find this spot! My first time exploring HTX and I was looking for some open mics and live music. It s a great neighborhood /dive bar with good bbq and good people just having a good time. I felt very relaxed while people watching lol and loooovvved the back yard Bayou! Really a cool spot. Parking is limited. Its charm comes from being at the crossroads of a neglected part of the city, near encroaching construction but still isolated. Once the multi story condos are finished two blocks away, someone with deep enough pockets will develop this into a spruced up eatery with a great outdoor area that will appeal to a trendy crowd. For now, its a great place to get away from the white collar oriented lifestyle that has cookie-cluttered all development. For now, it stays and old school bar catering to the low income locals that development threatens. Im told the bands are popular with a younger generation on weekends. Where they park, I havent a clue.

Love this place! Tenders are friendly, prompt, and down to earth. Patrons are there to have a good time. Re:HAB isnt fancy, but it isnt a rat hole either. Re:HAB is comfortable. It is an awesome place to relax, have conversations, meet new people, and be yourself. Parking is difficult, and sometimes patrons double park. BUT there is no need to worry because everyone is willing to move their car instead of sweating the small stuff. Re:HAB doesnt have a kitchen, but the last time I was there they had hotdogs, nachos, and Frito pie available. Another time we ordered pizza to be Door Dashed to the bar. See, just a chill place to hang out.

Rehab was not only a cool spot but a place that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. If Jamie is bartending then you are in for a treat. She is extremely personable! Funny and made my visit more relaxing and enjoyable. Also, good spot for live music!!!! Definitely recommend!!

No frills, no thrills, just real; this neighborhood bar is everything it s advertised to be. Love the live music, chill atmosphere and the staff is as friendly you d expect them to be. Places like this are becoming more rare. It is a pure bar: rustic, quirky, fun. There is a large outdoor space. The beer selection is an excellent mix of popular standards and local/regional craft beers. Ghost in the Machine is worth a taste. Friendly bartender who makes good cocktails. Often has live music. Central location.

I generally like this place and their band choices. However, this time I encountered an evening/night performance in the large back yard. Bands indoors or daytime music outside are usually great, however, there was no stage lighting either above or foot lighting for the band at night outdoors. They essentially played in the dark, i.e., ambient back yard, basically, tiki level lighting. I felt like I would have been better off listening to them on YouTube since I couldnt seem them. I would recommend calling ahead to check on this before attending performances there.

Very disappointed with this bar. Visited one time after hearing good things about it. After 1 beer and trying to get the bartender to even acknowledge us he then persisted to throw and break beer bottles in an angry fashion with out reason. Guy has a serious anger problem.

I had a great time!! It was my first time vending here and the place was warm and inviting. Everyone behind the counters were awesome. The local was awesome. There were a lot of badass and chill people there. The live music was great (sans his dad jokes I kid, I kid). Im looking forward to vending again next month. Ok. I really enjoyed Austin the bartender. Very knowledgeable, friendly, great attitude. The bartender with the long dark hair not very social able, seems like he doesnt enjoy being there.like Austin did! He made the best Titos vodka shaken martini with ice slivers!
