I been there 2 times already. Its good atmosphere there. People are they to enjoy good music. And a cold beer. Theres security guards so i felt comfortable being at the Bar. Cant wait to go back. Hopefully next time i win the Raffle.

I attended a gathering for a birthday on Saturday. Free parking and easy access. The bar staff was nice and quick with drinks BUT helpless when it came to questions about the bull riding. The owner arrived at midnight with people. Of course those people went first. If you are there to ride the bull DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. We arrived around 7:30 with people coming up until 11. We travelled from all parts of Houston and Pearland.

Returned on Tuesday, 02/06/24, came away disappointed. AGAIN. 1. Its designated a karaoke night. So when people go there for karaoke, they expect to sing, not listen to back to back to back mixes of music. There needs to be a DJ that knows how to run a karaoke show. 2. Its not that difficult to run a karaoke show thru Google Chrome via YouTube. Not only that, theres an extension to chrome that can be used to change the keys to songs. Theres no excuse for this. Little to No effort to listen to suggestions from the group that went. 3. The sign up process was a notepad & just REALLY unorganized. At least cut up some slips, have people write their names/song, SOMETHING, but there are better ways than simply having a mini notepad @ edge of a bar. 4. No capability to adjust key & the selection of songs was surprisingly very limited. So many we dont have that song responses to songs. These were popular songs that we dont have, not some off the wall songs. In this day & age w technology, its just crazy! There is LOTS of potential for here to be a good spot for karaoke, but having folks run a show & dont know what a KARAOKE night should look like will inevitably deter karaoke singers from returning. Its a shame cause this place has a lot of potential for a big community of karaoke folks in the area. I would suggest on karaoke nights to hire a KARAOKE person to run those shows if u want to grow ur crowds on those nights. If the business is simply satisfied w the same ol same there, then,I guess just keep things as they are. Sadly, Johnny Bs karaoke nights will Def not be the 1st place I seek out if I want to have a fun night of karaoke. Please take this as constructive review & not intended to bash, but if u really want to have a busy & successful night of karaoke... Several SMALL changes could go a long way to making it more enjoyable KARAOKE night as advertised. ____________________________________ Welp, we came here to watch a friend sing & do some karaoke...karaoke hopping. It was our first time here. Came in, and were listening for any singers. None were singing. Just an automatic playlist playing over the speakers I guess. After about 20 minutes of being there, finally asked bartender if there was karaoke, she said YES there was, and needed to talk to DJ Shadow , spelled Sha dough? Anyway... Shadow was at a slot machine? And when asked about karaoke just kinda got the vibe that he didnt really have time to really be bothered with karaoke or explaining to first timers how things work to get the karaoke going. He was playing the slot machines on the side and occupied on his phone as well. Not very attentive to hosting karaoke. Was kinda surprised at seeing a DJ so uninterested in doing their job on a night designated as a karaoke night. Every time Ive gone to a new spot that Ive never been to, Ive always gotten the sense that the DJ was welcoming and trying to promote their show and encouraging folks to sign up. Not the case here. DJ Shadow was more interested in socializing with clientele or playing slot machines. Very disappointing as this location is close, and convenient and otherwise... Could have been a place that my friends and I could be down to go to on a Sundays. The bar has a cool set up and I wanted to give it a chance, but if a place is designating a night as karaoke, then karaoke should be occurring. If its not, I would think the DJ would be promoting folks to sign up at the very least in my opinion. A new customer coming in shouldnt have to SEEK OUT what the process is for signing up to sing. Might give this place another shot in the future... But, if you are coming here for Karaoke on a Sunday night as advertised... you might be disappointed. The DJ has no interest in folks doing karaoke unfortunately. At least on the night we attended. Too bad... Cause Its close and was looking for a new place to karaoke, but... Alas. On to the next. Maybe well come back another time, and it will be a different experience. We shall see.

It was my first time experienceing this place unfortunately it went bad as I had a problem with a lady there and I had a fight there and was asked to leave for the night understandable Not once was I told that I couldn t come bk for 90days just for the night went bk the following Thursday and Saturday cause my daughter had a bday there and no one told me nothing I go today and I am asked to leave for 60 days. I had a bucket and tried to finish what I could because I couldn t get a refund I get escorted out and got made fun of because I had my I d and not my driver license to show them crazzzy really liked this place but disappointed

So I have to say a lot of people have given this place a bad review. I dont know why maybe they went on off days because I saw David Marez with my dad. I love how you sit around the dance floor and watch the people dance. Plus I like how from time to time a waiter will come by and ask if you need anything so you dont have to get up if you dont want to. Definitely will be back for more shows

We went on Thirsty Thursday and drinks were well priced! The bartender was nice and made us feel welcome. We were disappointed in the music selection. We expected some country music, but in the 2 hours we were there we didnt hear a single song. Most of the music played was hip hop, R&B and hispanic. We looked forward to dancing on the dance floor but never had the chance. Definitely not a saloon.

I really love coming to this place on a Thursday its really lit! The DJ plays a wide variety of music that gets everyone dancing. The owners and bartenders are very nice as well. I love playing playing pool and one thing I love is the girls come up to you and take your drink order instead of you having to stop the game and go to the bar every time youre out. The only thing that I dislike about this place is that it absolutely wreaks of cigarette smoke the smell sticks to your clothes and hair for days even after washing, but the fun I have here outweighs the smell.
