Sometimes a 4 star is actually a 5 star. This is where I go when I wanna isolate and not talk to anyone, but the few times that I have made friends there, its been awesome. Lots of interesting folks here that have contributed to plenty of memorable interactions Parking: No matter what day, you will find a spot 10-20 feet from a ramp leading to an entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres three ramps leading up around the bar entrance. Very accessible.

If your looking for a nice welcoming bar come to Cecils pub. They have nice cozy felling in the inside with couches, chairs and of course barstools. With a few pool tables , darts, TVs outside for the playoffs. And you wont break the bank either.

Bill Owns? Cares dearly about Cecils Pub (Tavern? Receipt says Tavern, sign says Pub) (drunk me apologizes dearly for puzzle, must make protein and lipid rich meal to sober) and already amiable acquaintance. Tip minimum 33% for me for exceptional service & hosting pool tourney. Had conversation during tending regardless of Thursday being surprisingly busy. Great people to meet. Hole in the wall place. Receipt says 600 W. Gray, leave pretentions at the door (before that even when, not if, Bill is there) and just talk. With people. Actual, normal people. Enjoy yourself. I admitted to playing just 4 games of pool before the tourney and was welcomed. I realize that I have gone on a rant. Great place for beer and popular? Traditional? Standard? Normal cocktails. To add to the beer. I will be coming back. Regularly. Also, bottle of premium quality liquor without paying for brand? ~40$. Getting liquored up while with friends AND paying for tab of the guy that beat you in pool? $35.18. I dont know why I put that in quotes. Guess citing directly? Great place, comin g back . AVOID THIS PLACE. I went there on Saturday, and the place was empty except for two older men at the bar who were speaking with the bartender. My wife, I, and two friends went to this bar to play pool and have a few drinks. We were in there for about 10 minutes when one of the men at the bar started yelling out obscenities and threatening us. We were obviously caught off guard as this was entirely unprovoked and unwarranted. None of our party spoke with or knew these people. The bartender heard everything and did nothing. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and if you do go, be prepared to defend yourself.

Bartenders are great as long as you dont ever work here it will be a great place. If you ever need somewhere to chill just make sure if its busy you keep to yourself even if youre using a table and behind your shot is a someones drink on another table. Id been a regular follower of the tournaments and the week before I actually wanted to enter using one of the few house cues still available for shooting straight I find myself unable to be a patron. Long story short lose your cool here and they will ban you. Even if youre just tryna play a game of pool the only reason I came here in the first place. I will say I got groped a lot less here than down the street.

The sort of bar, public house if you will, where match books are freely available at the bar. Where the match books and the establishment are absent of corporate branding. A respectable selecton of port wines by the glass are on offer. I can think of no signature cockail as the signature of Cecils is a individualized drink for an individual. Street and side facing open and covered patio spaces abound. Also intimate indoor seating spots and a pair of pool tables will accommodate almost any conceivable social gathering. This place is a rare gem, affordable to all.

Went for steak night, and got a convoluted, tiresome and frustrating ordering process with a cigarette infused experience. Wait to talk to bartender. Ask bartender how to order steak. Says I need to sit and wait for the waitress. Sit at a table inside for 10min. Decide to go outside and sit near grill to get waitress attention. Sit down wait for waitress. Waitress informs me of one drink minimum. Go back inside. Wait and order a drink. Go back outside to wait for the waitress to take my order. After order, watch waitress and cook smoke less than 5 feet from grill and my steak. Steak was pretty good.
