This is one of my favorite bars to just unwind at after a long day at work. The staff is super friendly and prompt. They also hold events like dart night and magic the gathering every once in awhile.

Bartender mad because I made my tab even. And her tip was only $2. I spent $60 and won $60. Im one person in a bar of many. Your service decides your tip. Kathy maybe you should look in the mirror. I am one person . I m not required to pay your bills. She always have an attitude and I have to wait after she serves her regulars for a drink. Paying customers are paying customers period. I always thought this bar was racist and she just proved my point tonight. Smh. You don t know my financial situation and for you to be upset because u didn t get the tip u expected is hilarious. Never shown me the same respect. Act like she doesn t know who I am when I come in. I only stop here because it s 10 mins from my job. Racism still lives and it s crazy smh. I m still a paying customer. Never any issues with my payments. I will definitely not come back. Wish I could give no stars

Cathy (Kathy?) the bartender always takes great care of me. The review drops from 5 stars to 1 because of the rudeness, contempt, and outright hostility with which Im treated by the bartender Buffy every time I go in there. It keeps getting worse, and yesterday afternoon when I went in, she treated me so badly that Ive finally decided to avoid the place if shes there. I dont understand what her problem is with me... Im a good tipper and I behave when Im in the place. Also, I should mention that it looks terrible when Buffy sits on the beer cooler with her feet up on it. Its a very unprofessional look, when the bartender literally has her behind and the bottom of her shoes up on the cooler in which bottled beer is stored. Gross!

Attended a friends birthday party. Bar staff was busy but attentive. Had a great guy playing music on stage. Had the Astros game on the big screen and most of the other screens in the house! Good cold beer! And the ribeye steak dinners looked amazing! Ill have to get one next time as we had already eaten by the time we arrived!!

We werent able to eat here. We walked in and were instantly hit with a cloud of smoke in our face. We had to leave immediately. Smoking in restaurants is disgusting.

Steak night is still good, but the price has gone up. One thing I really dont like is the smoking inside. If you are looking for service, you can forget about it. They need more waitresses. Now this is getting ridiculous. It has been an hour, I am still waiting for my food.

Went there off the reviews as I just wanted a local flare restaurant. Dark and inhospitable. There was what appeared to be a dart league going and a few locals hanging around the bar but other than that very empty. Stood in front of the waitress stand and then sat at the bar. In 10 minutes no one spoke a word to me. This is the type of local bar that will die as slowly as its regulars.

Since writing the review below, Karaoke D-Lux has been done away with, so I no longer go to JBs and cant say what its like now. Awesome service, good drink prices, and the best karaoke in town. Karaoke D-Lux can be found at other places around town on other nights, but the atmosphere and service at JBs is so much better. The food is good too. Decent prices and sizeable portions. There are pool and dart tournaments on Tuesday and Saturday as well.
