Honestly bad experience. Party of 4 and our food came out at LEAST 20 minutes apart, waitress didn t return literally at all, and there was a crack head wandering around outside next to our table .rip. Food was good but service and experience was bad. Probably won t ever go back ): I wanted to like this place!!!

Experience as a whole was bad. To start, our waitress was all over the place, and not really attentive to us. Everyone s food literally came out 10 - 15 mins apart from each other. I waited 35 mins for a fried chicken sandwich that was decent, but honestly could ve been done better. Our waitress disappeared on us for 20 mins at least. A table next to me gave me their bottle of water because they saw me waiting and looking for our waitress. Not sure why everything was so bad for a high rated place.

We had a wonderful experience!! Quinn was an amazing server and Connor recommended some splendid drinks! Will definitely be coming back here again! We had the roast chicken, chicken liver pate, crudo of Kona kanpachi, baked oysters, charred broccoli, chatarra alle vongole, and last but not least the coffee cheesecake.

Atmosphere was great but the food was mediocre. I mean for what Im paying you would expect to have the toppings on your food not off. Service was amazing though when we voiced our opinion about how small and over priced the oysters were she actually gave us the oysters free of charge so because of her I think I might come back for a few drinks.

Eh, this place was OK, although typical for this type of cookie cutter Heights establishment. Small portions, over priced, unique decor. The one reason I won t go back is the goofy ordering system. You walk in and have to stand right in the middle of all the foot traffic coming in and out of the restaurant until someone finally asks to take your order at the counter. Then as a bonus, you get to stand there again, obviously in the way of everyone to pay. This kind of stuff drives me nuts because like, where is the owner? If I owned this place and went through the ordering system just one time, I would have changed it immediately.

Ducked in to grab a couple drinks and some light bites. Greeted by two friendly people at the door. Upbeat music and lots of lovely people having a great time. Food was delicious (meatballs, mushrooms and shrimp plates) drinks were well mixed, interesting and delicious. Highly recommend!

This place lives up to its name. As my wife and I walked through the front door of the venue, the waitress who was walking out rushed in front of us to run a drink to the patio as we held the door open. It took a good while for us to get greeted and both the hanger steak and the chicken paillard were extremely salty. We both ended up with a mild stomach pain at night. Definitely wont recommend anything this place offers.

I was so excited about this place , i wanted to love it . Food and drinks in the neighborhood? I got here with 18 mins left for kitchen to close ( for this reason i will come back ) not that it is an excuse for establishments slack off. I ordered the salmon my partner the steak the salmon was full of bones , i couldn t hear my partner and not only to the hrs on website not match Google , no one ever came to check on us once our food came. I hope to update this with more positive news in the future.

It started out great. The drinks were good. The atmosphere was great. They have a place for animals outside, but to sit the dog a few feet away at the bar, drinking out of regular glasses, not pup glasses, the same glasses we were drinking out totally disgusted me. Im not an animal hater, but my animals have their own bowls that they use. Parking: Very small parking lot, but there is street parking available also.

After long day of flying came in around 3p. Zeke greeted us and continued to be awesome! Knew his drinks, menu was fantastic! Braided Meatballs are a must!!! The margaritas with mezcal creamy avocado and make it spicy was the best non-margarita tasting cocktail! Great vibes, awesome margs, solid beer sectioj and delicious burgers. The Texas-style burger is amazing if you like mustard (adds mustard + jalapeños to the classic). I love pickled jalapeños but they are normally cut too chunky / too intense on a burger. They slice them super thin here which is perfect on a burger

This is my go to place for cocktails and a quick bite after work. Brussels sprouts are to die for. The octopus dish is unique and wonderful. I ve loved BLT for a long time and recently urged two close friends to try it with me for their first time for dinner tonight. Couldn t have had a worse experience. We ordered onion rings to start, they ordered burgers and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Ultimately, I waited 45 minutes for the appetizer and my sandwich to come out. Their burgers came out pretty quickly. The appetizer came out long after they d finished their burgers and about 15 minutes before my sandwich. The sandwich was horrible - no meat, all fried gristle. I requested that my tab be cleared because I couldn t pay for a meal of this quality, and it was. I m glad my friends enjoyed their burgers but I won t be recommending or returning.

Omg! Dont waste your money. To the server with the PINK hair F.Y.B! Extremely rude! when asked for their ALL DAY MENU her attitude 180°. She acted like we were not even there after the request. Regardless, eventually I ordered the chicken sandwich, fries and one cocktail. $40ish. When she finally comes to collect payment, she takes all of our tickets and walks away. Ordered 4 drinks. Of which 1 was drinkable. One the drink tasted like soap.....and the Tajin rim was mush like. Not even sure how that happens. Ordered the Chicken sandwich and it was good. Fries were the best part of the whole experience. Also got the Salmon which I couldnt eat after finding so many large bones.... some giant round bone was the show stopper. Took it back (you get to go look for this subpar service, they dont actually wait on you). Ordered a gourmet grilled cheese instead. No idea how it tasted because after waiting 20 mins I gave up, paid and left. $90 for most of nothing. Just to somewhere else. Overhyped. There @ 330 on Sun March 3 2024.

Most of the seating is outdoor. Service is a bit slow, menu changes frequently. They used to have a few more vegetarian options. I keep going back and trying to like it, but Everytime, service is slow, drinks are too sweet, and the food is worse each time. Not a lot of vegetarian items. Brunch food is great my favorites are the pancakes, pistachio toast, and mortadella sandwich (although I don t think the latter two are on the regular menu anymore). However, expect the service to be pretty minimal and honestly a little off-putting at times. We ve never had major issues with it other than slow speed, but we ve seen people walk out because of how bad the service is, which is pretty rare to see around here. The particular incident that motivated me to write this review was witnessing them not accommodating a customer with limited mobility when it came to ordering at the table vs. the bar (as you re normally instructed to do). It just seemed like a situation in which a little kindness and foresight could have gone a long way, especially given that the place was practically empty at the time.

What a cool place! Hubby and I wanted to try something new for date night. BLT had such great reviews that we just HAD to check it out. It s not very big so it s a good thing we arrived early. We cozied up to the bar to be able to watch the Texans v Colts game. The bartender was suuuuuper cool. Very inviting and sweet. They have an extensive cocktail menu! We ordered a couple cocktails and some apps (meatballs and crab cakes). Wow! Delish! We pretty kept ordering and enjoying different cocktails during the game. Our bartender, Lorenzo, was fantastic. The crowd was fun. And the Texans won! It was a great date night at BLT!

This place is known for their cocktails. I was impressed all the way around. The bartender working that night is a wow, she runs like a diesel engine, never slowing or breaking stride o matter how many orders are coming in. The drink prices are really pretty good. Yea I heard great things about this place. I came for brunch on Saturday. The atmosphere is laid back. I ordered the pancakes with a side of hash browns. It took awhile for the food to come out so be prepared to wait longer than most places in the area. They brought out the pancakes, which were flavorful, but I guess the hash browns got lost in the back. I was about finished with the pancakes by the time the hash browns came out. The hash browns were terrible, overdone, EXTREMELY greasy! I took one bite and that was enough. As a cook, I don t see how you think that s acceptable to bring out to anyone. The price for what you get is a little high. I guess better luck tomorrow is a true statement

My wife and I stopped in this evening for a drink, and a quick bite and we were thoroughly impressed. Adam, the bartender took great care of us and the rest of the staff were really awesome.

Great cocktails. The staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. The food is good. They have a lot of small plates as well as entrees. A lot of the seating is outdoors but there s plenty of covered seating.

Unfortunately I haven t enjoyed any experience I ve had here. I tried to give it a chance multiple times, to no avail. The drinks I ve had were almost good, and the service made my group uncomfortable all the times I ve been. This bar looks like a nice place to visit, but I ve never left happy.

My 1st visit Had a gulf shrimp plate, shrimp were nice. Service was nice. We were outside it warmed up & we moved inside to follow Astro game & cool off TV for games, good drink prices & a happy hour too. Cute bar. It wasnt busy before 6, as we left there were several vehicles parking The free parking on side & rear is awesome! Parking: Great to see free onsite parking here to side and rear too

The meatball small plate, the crudo, okra marsala, honey chicken sandwich, and salmon steak frites were all very delicious! As for drinks, we got one of the cocktails that had oolong gin and the spicy creamy avocado margarita and they both were also delicious! Highly recommend this place for a weekend brunch, but they also have different menu for the weekday.

I came in for brunch. It wasnt too bad in general... maybe just not my taste. I ordered a drink that I didnt end up liking, so I ordered another one, offering to pay for the first one because it wasnt anything they did wrong. They didnt make me pay for it, which was nice, but I didnt end up liking the second drink either. At that point, I just left it alone and decided not to drink with brunch. I ordered food, which part of the order was not rung in... again, I didnt make a big deal about it because the bartender was busy, and it was pretty loud. So I just reordered it. The price is a little high for the amount of food you get, but, hey, its downtown, so you gotta expect that. The food wasnt too bad, just a little different... I most likely wont be returning, but it isnt because of anything they did wrong. Again, just not my taste.

This has always been a great place to have some new / different cocktails and good food! They ve updated the outside chairs though SO uncomfortable! Won t be able to relax and enjoy for long there. sad. The okra and crab cakes were delicious!!! Highly recommend. The fried chicken sandwich was not their best. I really missed the Korean salad they used to do.

Wonderful food, wonderful service and a spectacular atmosphere. Had a local friend take me to one of their favorite restaurants, I can tell why now. The burger was juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly. Onion rings were crisp and had just the right amount of breading. What can you say about grilled cheese but yum? Everything was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning and served promptly and hot.

Had brunch here. The breakfast sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich were both wonderful. The fries where crisped perfection and the tomatillo bloody Mary is now one of my all time faves. I am excited to try the dinner menu next time. I was surprised the brunch menu was still in affect at 2 so looking forward to trying the rest of the menu out.

Very cool spot to come have a few drinks. There is quite a bit of parking on the property on the side and around the back. We had a few margaritas that were great. The spicy margarita was really good and actually had a bit of a kick to it. They do have some food but this time we only had some French fries which were hot and crispy. The prices are reasonable as well. You can sit anywhere you like but you have to order at the bar. When your drinks are ready theyll yell out your name from the bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a few TVs. We actually watched part of an Astros game here and the TVs were in view from most seats. Put this place on your list of bars to visit!

My husband and I love to go around Houston trying different bars and restaurants. This is by far our favorite place that we keep coming back to. The happy hour is the best in Houston by far so make sure to drop by Monday - Friday from 2-5. They also have an amazing brunch, my husband loves their continental breakfast cocktail and makes sure to order it every time. Their burger is to die for and is the best I have had anywhere, their drinks are top notch, and this continues to be one of our favorite Houston haunts. I d also like to mention that their service is top tier. We always feel welcome and taken care of each time we come by. Thank you for your amazing service! I always recommend this place highly to friends and family!

Excellent drinks and good small bites make this a great place to gather with friends. My only concerns are the use of QR code menus as well as counter service. Covid has ended. Bring back hospitality which never involves a cell phone or waiting in line to place your order.

Worst bar food ever!!!! Do yourself a favor and stop at McDonald s I think that s better than this and I don t even like McDonald s. We had the fried pickles, tuna on some lettuce and beef burrito thing it was all disgusting. The drinks are really good and atmosphere is great . Oh and restrooms are disgusting just fyi. I honestly wish I have better luck tomorrow.

The looks of the place is the only good thing. I went with a party of 4, we all got different items and all left disappointed. They have specials and claim to do rainy day specials but only give the discounts when they feel like it. Not only was the food below average the service was the worst I ve had ever. The drinks took 20 plus minutes to come out, we decided to cancel our last round that we ordered before our food came out, we waited for the drinks 15 min after we all finshed our meals. The Brussel sprouts were raw in the inside due to the large size and not being cut in half. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Better worth your time and money to go to McDonald s
