Youre allowed to smoke inside. Thats the main downfall. If that wasnt allowed, it would be a 5 star. Place has great food, all the bartenders are great. They have pool, darts, music, and a golf game. All you really need for a hometown bar. You just always smell like cigarettes when you leave.

This place is cool...the food is really really good. My issue with the food is I got the duck wings for 11.00 and there were 3. They were good, but they are very small, there must be no baby ducks left around Houston. The bartender seemed kinda rude to me, but as I was leaving he was really nice so idk. His service was good though

I have been there twice now. Excellent service both times and the food is delicious. You gotta try the pepperjack cheese sticks and The Cubano. 2024 update been going for 3 years now just had the Special Philibuster it was probably one of the most unique and delicious burgers I have tried...I have tried everything on the menu and it is all delicious you cant really go wrong here kitchen opens at 6pm...Still 5 stars best dive bar and food in general on the south side.

Service and friendliness from bartenders was great. Played in a pool tournament here so it was my first time checking out the place. Unfortunately, one of the games stole my money. Ive had game machines malfunction on me before and they can pull audits on the machine and pay out what was in there so far. This was a total scam machine. After putting in my thirs hundred dollar bill, I finally got a winning bonus round. And during the bonus round I got a $400 fireball (in addition to what I already had in there and the remaining bonus round winnings) and then the machine resets and goes to demo mode!!! My date and I were flabbergasted and in disbelief. We told the staff. Got in touch with Craig the manager. He got in touch with other people. And they told me they werent allowed to show customers their audit tickets. So dont get robbed like me please.

Went for Singo Bingy. Was actually very fun. 3 rounds, two games per round. $10/paper with two cards or 3/$25 for each round. You play four corners the. Additional game(large picture frame usually) on the SAME cards as four corners. Four corners games songs(numbers) count for the next game. Very smoky but to be expected. They also have soft tip darts and pool.

Im not a fan of dive bars but this one in my neighborhood is a diamond in the rough. Maybe they can renovate to bring in a crowd but I do like how its not too busy. It makes getting food and drinks not so stressful. The food is on another level with amazing combinations. All their fries and tots are delicious. Their duck wings are a must have and I enjoyed their shrimp burger. The drinks are tasty too and with enough alcohol to get you tipsy eventually. Its a fun place and glad to have it around.

The difference between a pub and a bar is that a pub generally allows minors in accompanied by an adult until a certain time. My family had heard it was a great place to play pool and they had good food so we went to check the place out. After we were in and settled about to play pool the waitress walked up and told us we had to be 21 or older. We Checked online and the website before we went and it did not say anything about being 21. Also read the signs when we walked in and nothing said anything about being 21 either. Nobody stopped us when we walked in to let us know. They need to put a notice on the door / online or they should stick to letting families come in since the about section talk all about how the owners wanted a place for families and friends to hang out at.

Robs Pozole is on the menu tonight! ITS AMAZING!! served with the fixings on the side so you can add what you want. the pork is in chunks which is ok, I just prefer smaller chunks or shredded. when items are offered off of the menu, I suggest you try it. I have had other plates off the menu and have never been disappointed! always great service. I have 4 stars for atmosphere because people can smoke, so non-smokers are kinda screwed. I always smell heavily of smoke when I leave.

The most surprising hidden gem that I ve found in I don t know how long. The food is amazing. I recommend the disco fries, nachos and burgers and anything else in the menu, you will not be disappointed. The kitchen is run by chefs. Our servers Stacy and Jax were also super kind and hospitable.

I looove love love this place!! Went there on a first date and now it s a special place for us. Not to mention they treat us like family! Specially Stacy! We love her! The service is horrible, waitress never returned to check on us if we needed anything else. They were rude. The DJ played music she wanted to play even when no one was dancing to the music she was playing. We requested music we wanted to hear and dance but she didn t play. Very upsetting and disappointing. Its been many years I have been coming to this local hang out. Still a great place. Locally Owned and involved, constantly giving back to the community. First time coming to this place and the food/drinks were 10/10. Brittney and Stacey, the bartenders, were super friendly and attentive in every way possible. They made us feel like regulars and we loved everything we had to eat and drink. If you re looking for a bar that has really good food, not bar food in any way, this is your place. Small nice quiet place to come unwind on the weekdays. The happy hour food is also pretty amazing if yall give it a go for $5. Draft priced well and has plenty of variety. No issues at all for past year Ive been stopping in and out; Friendly employees and Houstonians. Has pool tables, darts, and some arcade games for entertainment with friends/groups. One thing I wish would be improved is the bar counter area so more people can sit on stools. I usually turn away if a stool isnt avaliable, because I dont prefer taking up a whole sitdown table by myself. Cheers!

We came out to play darts on the Monday night tournament even called ahead to verify. Was told it starts at 7:30. We arrived at 7:03.... we sat at a table. 17 people out on the floor.... 2 people at the bar.... weve been here for an hour and not one time were We asked if we wanted a beverage of any sort, bartender came out once and checked on the dart league players and completely bypassed us. Not sure if we will visit again.... not a very welcoming atmosphere

I pick up food here occasionally. It is really a gastropub with high end food. The owners are chefs and the food is remarkable. You need to try the food. It is all good. Went to meet my friend who invited me to stop by. Got there met up inside and grabbed a beer. Suddenly was approached by some woman that worked there. She said I had to leave because I was wearing a tank top. As I looked around there were other folks wearing tank tops. I never saw anything at the entrance of this bar that stated this policy. I didnt argue but just left. Either it was because I wasnt white or because Im gay! Stay away from this bar! Ill never go back!
