The trails are fun but getting incredibly overgrown. The newest play ground is fun for the kids! Playground: Dinosaurs! Picnic area: There are two tables under some trees where the old playground was

I understand the website says that there is a fishing pier,but I ll be honest, every time I come out here breaks my heart to see the way all these beautiful turtles that are in this pond are treated. It seems more to me that it s More of a turtle pond than a fishing pond. I have seen turtles get caught up and thrown back in the water like trash with hooks still Attached to them. It s disturbing to watch especially when you re trying to come out and have a relaxing jog/walk. Anyway, that s my two cents.

Park itself is not that bad. Decent amount of hiking trail and grass area. However, as a dog owner myself, its really embarrassing that so many dog owners are not picking up after their dogs. Its almost impossible not to step on dog feces when walking in the grass area. If you are too lazy to pickup after your dog, what are you not doing for your dog that you are supposed to be doing? If you cant even pickup after your dog, then you shouldnt own a dog, or any animal.

Although it was a good visit , I gave it only 3 stars because the pond water lever was down and the poison ivy was in full bloom all along the tree line/creek access. I was there for fishing.

Lovely place for a lake picnic. It did rain but the benches were covered and watching it ripple on the lake was picturesque a small hike to the lake but worth it.

Nice pond area and clean walking trails. However the path to get the pond area you will need to go under the street bridge which is very nosy, as expected, and dark. Overall, the area is safe but I would be more comfortable at other open spaces and trails.

Can be a really tranquil place to take the dogs or the kids. They were still renovating the playground when we went a few times though. The lake/pond to the North of Shiloh gets too low pretty regularly. And theres not a lot here that makes me say wow, but it is still a nice park. There are some trails to the back near the playground that lead through the greenbelt to the back of the newer neighborhood of townhomes up off of Naaman Forest, and a few different places as well, I havent explored all of them.

This is such a beautiful area tucked away in plain sight. Great concrete path for walking, biking, etc. You can also feed turtles from the little pond pier, so it is a great idea to stop at the Kroger down the way to pick up some tomatoes, apples, or lettuce to feed them.

We love this area with the pond and picnic tables. *WARNING* there is NO Restrooms or enough parking. Also, parking is located very far from the pond area which makes it hard to bring a picnic or cookout foods and carry it so far to the pond area. Which is about the only bad things about it.

Pretty park with a few picnic tables and benches. Goes around a pond and then under the bridge to a nice area where lots of people walk their dogs. Small playground with sand and lots of walking trails in the woods along the creek.

I love this trail! It gives me a good cardio workout as the path has gentle slopes and the beautiful landscape makes it a pleasure to traverse. Garland hit a homerun with this one!
