My daughters wedding last Friday at hidden pines, highland village, was absolute perfection. Firstly, the venue so tastefully decorated with a touch of hill country rustic vibe ..but chapel and ballroom elegant at the same time! I honestly don t know why everyone wouldn t choose this venue for up to 325 guests!! We had under 140 so it was even more spacious and comfortable for dancing and conversing! Newshaw was our wedding Planner and she, alone, was worth a million Bucks! She was attentive, a good listener, very responsive and literally had every detail down! She ensured the whole day went flawlessly! My daughter said she didn t have a single worry the whole day. I felt the same thanks to Newshaw handling everything for us, probably even things we should have done for ourselves. She was that good, above and beyond expectations. Our cake, done by Jenny Layne bakery, was exquisite all four flavors were exceptional and raved about by our guests! It s was beautifully decorated as well which I believe the florists from Joche Events, should get the credit for adding floral , exact to our Inspo pic! Hannah Szerlong, Joche Events, was our floral rep and created our dream florals and greenery to the tee! I was not an easy client as I d like to think I have an eye for design and she patiently made any changes/additions/requests that I made and there were many. Her bouquet, as shown, a showstopper!! Our DJ and photographer, Daniela and Chris, both booked through hidden pines, were equally superb, organized, prompt but also fun and engaging, even with our children! All in all, the entire wedding was A++, flawlessly executed and we will forever be thankful for all the lovely memories! Sheila B. Flower Mound, Tx

Hidden Pines was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding. The chapel is beautiful with many textures and plenty of space. The reception area had so much personality. The ceiling tin was gorgeous, the bar was a focal point and the room was so large. Newshaw was a great wedding coordinator. She had everything ready and organized at the rehearsal the night before and the day of, she was there all day to answer the hundreds of questions we had. She was there for the bride and wanted her to have a relaxed and perfect wedding experience. There is zero need to hire a separate day of coordinator. Newshaw exceeded my expectations! All the little things she and her staff did was so appreciated. The bar selection was excellent and the fajita buffet was delicious. Jared, the DJ, did an excellent job.

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of Calla giving us a full in depth tour of Hidden Pines! We LOVED the interior and all the natural lighting coming from the ceiling height windows. Calla answered all of our many many questions and we determined this venue may be too big for the amount of guests we are expecting. She pointed us to another Walters wedding venue: Chapel at Riverwalk that we absolutely FELL IN LOVE with and ultimately booked with. Calla was extremely attentive and responsive the entire process and we couldnt have asked for an easier process!

Went to a wedding here recently, very nice place, the chairs were nice. The reception room was fancy nice, plenty of room. Bar was great nice setup. Tables had plenty of room, plenty floor space to dance. If your looking to book a chapel or just use the hall for parts plenty of room. Yes give this place a look picture does not show how wide/big the hall is ... oh yeah, Bathrooms look nice if you wanted to know... ha ha ha... just the guys side.... the worker that served us was funny nice respectful. Oh yes I almost forgot the food was good I love broccoli... I had that, mmmmm good. Food overall I give it a 7.5 out of 10. In my opinion, my kids opinion said its good, the other was like it was okay... but kids nowadays are picky so what u expect. Give this place a look if you want to book something!

I got married in March 2024 after working with Newshaw (wedding planner), Jenny Layne Bakery (cake), Christina with Emily Chappell Productions (photography), Michael with CoHost Entertainment (DJ), Lyons Paperie (save the dates and invitations), Hannah with Design Haus (florals), and the Hidden Pines catering team. This vendor team is all in-house through Walters Wedding Estates and I had such a smooth and flawless experience. Because they all work so closely together, I was able to enjoy the wedding planning process and not stress about how vendors would work together. Communication was easy as each vendor was responsive to emails or texts, and they provided such detailed answers to ANY question I had. I know a lot of brides stress about planning a wedding, so I was expecting to experience high levels of stress. But no - this was a breeze and I couldnt recommend this team and venue enough :) Thank you all!!!

We were supposed to tour the Walter s Wedding Flower Mound location but because they didn t have our date, Calla offered to show us Hidden Pines in Highland Village. I recently had my wedding at Hidden Pines Chapel and I can honestly say I wouldnt change a thing about the venue or staff. Their all-inclusive wedding package made wedding planning much less stressful and when the day came, Newshaw, one of the wedding planners there, did a fantastic job about making sure everything went perfectly. Every vendor in the all-inclusive package was amazing too. So professional, so talented, and so willing to make every detail perfect. The wedding planning process has been made so much easier by deciding to book with this venue. We were able to bundle pretty much everything we needed and make it all inclusive for the wedding and not have to worry about looking for outside vendors during such a stressful time. Planning with Sydnee was a breath of fresh air! We would come to our meetings with a million little things all over the place, and her sweet and calm disposition made all those details fall into place, in a stress free way. We would leave our meetings with a renewed sense of excitement for our wedding day, focusing again on what is important, because Sydnee had taken care of all the loose ends. She had our back with the vendors and was super clear in her communication with us and with them. She was helpful and wanted the best deals for us, (she even researched a variety of props on Amazon that we wanted on the dance floor!). Besides her calm personality and being genuinely happy for us, our favorite thing about working with Sydnee was that there were no surprises. There was no fine print with her, as it is in the wedding business, sometimes. She was honest, down to earth, organized, and peaceful. What more could you ask for in a planning coordinator?

Go anywhere else. This place is overpriced and understaffed. There are hiccups at every wedding. They made no attempt to try to address the problems. 1) First and foremost my daughter and I were mortified if front of all of our guests when we realized the DJ did not play the clip we sent him for the father daughter dance. We spent weeks preparing for that dance and it was ruined. Even after I told him that he played the wrong song, he said sorry but was not willing to fix it until i was extremely persistent. He stole a special moment because by the time we got the right clip everyone was on the dance floor so the videographer could not get a good shot. 2) There was suppose to be two buffet lines. Since we only had one, dinner took much longer than expected and it cut into the party. 3) There were not enough bartenders causing long lines all night for our guests to get drinks. 4) The florists did not bring all of the flowers and had to return to their shop delaying several subsequent events. 5) Finally, we did not receive the late night snack as we ordered. I do recognize you have received a partial refund for this mishap.

We recently got married here and the venue is beautiful! It s nice to have the ceremony and reception areas in the same building and nothing outside in the heat. Adam was a great help throughout the process. At first, we were a little nervous, because it was hard to get responses through email/phone call. However, Adam more than made up for it once we got closer to the actual wedding date. He s very personable, friendly, and professional. Sadly, we didn t pay for the day-of coordinating service and went with our own day-of coordinator, which wasn t great. Luckily, Adam was present during the whole wedding and stepped up when needed to keep things running smoothly. Our only complaint is that the steak from the in-house catering was overcooked (plated meals), but the catering staff and bar staff were amazing!

We got married last year during all the hubbub when everyone who was scheduled to be married in 2020 was trying to reschedule. We had a July wedding, and we scheduled as far out as December of the previous year, setting things up with Emma (very quick and detailed responses!). It s a gorgeous chapel, and it s an easy layout to figure out. Perfect size for a wedding of maybe 200 people (ours had around 150), but quite roomy and yet cozy for 150. We loved working with Adam, the venue manager, and he always had or was able to get the answers we needed, and he even did day-of wedding coordination for us. We went with their catering for the wedding - can confirm the shrimp and the bruschetta appetizers are perfection and the salmon is delicious! With the beer and wine included with a Saturday evening catered wedding in Dallas during the wedding boom, it wasn t cheap (not sure you can get that in Dallas, anyway), but the memories we have are dear, and we wouldn t give them up them for the world! The pictures online show a lot of light coming in to the chapel - it really is that bright, but the sun doesn t blind you (at least it didn t at our wedding). They ve revitalized the whole place, and the only thing I d say they have left to improve would be the restrooms, since the stall doors are a little older looking. The bridal suite is best suited for bride and 5 bridesmaids or fewer, but you might could fit a couple more people in there; we d just camped out from 11 to 4, so we had a bit of stuff going on. We still had room for people to come and greet the bride pre-ceremony, no worries. This is pretty much an indoor-only type of venue, though you can walk outside around the building, but it s perfect for the sweltering summer months. A lovely place, lovely people working there, lovely memories being made. This place is definitely worth an in person look at when you re making your wedding decisions!

I recently had my wedding here, what was promised an exceptional experience was far from it To start off many of my texts/emails were never responded from Adam coordinator or Karissa lady that gets you to sign contract disappears once contract is signed! We got the most expensive package (elite) But when it was time for the rehearsal Adam forgot about us and we had to practice outside in humid heat followed by a crazy storm soon after. Our plans for a rehearsal dinner were ruined. As things could not get worse we called and called didn t get a text back until later that night. We were completely humiliated in front of family and friends as if we didn t have it together! The day of our wedding our cake was cut without us being notified...a special moment, we were unable to get pictures. Walking into the reception I noticed our table was not decorated. I had to remind Adam of almost everything... guess our details meeting we had the week before to make sure everything was exceptional was a complete waste of time. I hope this venue gets the extra help they need. It was obvious when the lady doing my hair stated sounds like Adam needs some help Oh and one last thing brides who choose to get ready at venue the door by the restroom does not lock so as people are walking in they are able to get into your dressing room. My makeup bag and money envelopes were stolen that night just to add the cherry on top.

Went to a wedding here, beautiful venue. The service was subpar especially considering 50% noshow guests due to covid concerns. So there was plenty of staff but they seemed to be concerned with getting everything over with from the beginning. The food was a great selection by the bride but someone forgot to have a chef prepare it. No flavor dry chicken, broccoli, and potatoes. The chips and queso were served COLD deapite being on a warming table. It was obvious that a qualified chef or kitchen personnel were absent.

I had my wedding at Hidden Pines Chapel Highland village on October 24th and it was beyond perfect!! Avery and Elizabeth went beyond our expectations on our big day! When we arrived everything was set up correctly and the ceremony went smoothly. The food in the reception was so good! When my wife and I got to our head table Avery had our appetizers, our dinner plates and drinks waiting for us! I was so grateful because I had not eaten all day. Portion size was good they even allowed for seconds if you wanted that. Avery also made sure I always had a drink in my hand which was so nice so I didnt have to go to the bar or make someone go get it for us. I will also mention drinks were strong and we had zero complaints about that. I will admit I was hesitant after reading some reviews but I would recommend this venue over and over again. I am so disgusted by the practices of this venue in regards to safety and the rescheduling of events due to COVID-19. Feasible options have not been offered and they are willingly going to allow large groups to remain in an enclosed space during the largest viral outbreak this country has seen. Not to mention that North Texas is a major hot spot for this virus because OF LARGE GROUP GATHERINGS. Do the right thing and allow your couples to reschedule for next year at no additional cost. If anyone gets sick at your events it is on you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Read the reviews from corona time! THEY ARE LYING WHEN THEY SAY THEY PROVIDED ALTERNATIVE DATES AND THEY ARE THE OPPOSITE OF HELPFUL . They are liars, we have contacted them several times since the pandemic started and it has always been a blanket statement of CDC says it s safe so we ll stay open . Management is full of disgusting people who will do anything to get money even if it means putting every single one of their guest at risk of corona. Even their emails are simply copy and pasted from all of our other concerns. The venue is absolutely gorgeous but I urge everyone to really think of the people running this place are in it for your special day or if they are putting on a facade. They are not transparent. They are not fluid. Save yourself from this venue and the other properties they own and go to a place where they care about you and not about how much you re going to pay them. Don t make the same mistake as us and think these people care about your health.

How to Take Advantage of Your Customers: Pandemic Edition by Hidden Pines Chapel Chapter One: After taking their money, blatantly show disregard for the best interest of the bride, groom, family and all guests of the wedding. Chapter Two: Charge for a higher price wedding package, deliver a lower price wedding package. Chapter Three: When your customers inquire about moving the wedding date (well in advance) due to a worldwide emergency health crisis (to a year or two out - a reasonable request), hold them to their original event date. Then laugh and watch as you willing facilitate the spread of COVID-19 and contribute the very probable deaths of many (and all due your selfishness and insensitivity!) Chapter Four: After each event: Continue to laugh hysterically while you shower yourself in other peoples hard earned money.

The year is 2020, the people that run this place need to understand the circumstances and the times we are living in. You shouldn t charge couples who aren t able to use this venue with family members and friends present; the way it should be. I understand you need to make money, but understanding this is not the way and others are losing money with no satisfaction of this venue. If I could give half a star I would. People who have paid for this venue need to be refunded ASAP and there needs to be an understanding. Otherwise that is a disgusting act.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They are Incredibly selfish and money hungry. My parents won t even be able to attend my brothers wedding due to my mom being a frontline worker and my dad being 65+. They refuse to allow my brother and his fiancé move their date for the safety of our loved ones. They DO NOT CARE about making your day special all they care about is the $$$. No one planned COVID-19, but we ve already lost family members this year and now we are forced to put ourselves in potential danger because of their selfishness. P.S. it s this particular venue, the Hurst venue is allowing their couples to move their date.

Run from this place. It s beautiful but the service was awful. They admitted to watering down the drinks. They took food away before guests were finished eating told them they could not have seconds. Even though we paid for about 45 more people than attended due to virus. Elizabeth, one of the staff made my daughter cry on more than one occasion and actually told her she was doing her a favor. They wanted to reschedule next year but were told they could not and would give absolutely no money back. So they were trapped in using this venue and were only given a handful of days to reschedule and most days were during the week. Terrible customer service. I know this is a trying time for all but this venue ruined my daughter s wedding and embarrassed her in front of guests. I would only give them one star because the place it is pretty but they shabby business practices and Elizabeth needs to find a different profession where she doesn t deal with people. I have NEVER written a bad review for anyone or anywhere but I will be writing many for this place of business.

This is actually a tiny wedding chapel. Never would of known from the name nor outside appearance. Apparently I drive by it few times a week. Always assumed it was an apartment complex or a mental institution.

Hidden Pines is a beautiful venue with tons of natural light in the ceremony space. It has a light and airy feel. Everyone that I spoke with was very helpful and professional. Liz was my day-of coordinator and she did a great job of keeping us on schedule and making sure everything ran smoothly. We had a small hiccup where a couple guests had been left off the seating chart. She figured everything out and I didnt even know there was an issue until the next day when a family member told me. My parents and in laws were both very impressed with Liz and everyone at Hidden Pines. We heard a lot of compliments about how great the food was for the reception. They also gave us to go boxes that we enjoyed the next day when we were too exhausted from our great time to make dinner. I would highly recommend Hidden Pines in Highland Village.

We married there almost 3 weeks ago and it was a dream. Our wedding coordinator, Maddie did such a fantastic job. We had a big wedding, almost 300 people, and she handled it with such grace. Our Big Day could not have been more perfect. It was beautiful and everything we had hoped for.

We got married in May 2019 at Hidden Pines Chapel in Highland Village. What a wonderful wedding! I got so many compliments on the beautiful architecture and design of our venue choice. The venue simply gorgeous and the staff makes you feel special! My sister got married three years ago at a different venue, and while it was a beautiful wedding, we felt like a number instead of a person. Hidden Pines is completely different. We were all very pleased! Every time I sent an email with a question or concern, I would get a response within the day. The staff were incredibly kind and quick, and they worked with me to create my dream wedding. Everything I needed was there for me! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. Liz, our wedding coordinator, was responsive and prompt! Everything went smoothly (even though there was a flash flood warning on the day of the wedding!) I couldnt have asked for a better venue.

HP - HV was a great venue to work with! They offered a great selection of dates/times, had several levels of meals that all tasted great, and made sure every detail was tended to. They also had frequent tastings and raffle nights which was such a fun bonus! Their staff is excellent at taking over the small details and leaving the wedding party to relax.

Hidden is definitely an accurate name for it. Ive been through this area hundreds of times and never realized it was back there. We came here for a friends wedding and the inside of the chapel and reception hall are beautiful. For a small to medium sized wedding it seems like a great space with quite a few areas to take photos.

I had been to weddings in venues close to this one but had the privilege of attending my younger cousins wedding recently and it was very well organized. The staff and people hosting this event were very much engaged in making sure the food was never short and the wedding party was accommodated and prioritized. Beautiful service which my brother in law married them and the reception area was large and spacious and staff was friendly. These are some photos of my family and some video clips.
