A spectacular behemoth. Worth the trip to gaze upon this magnificent arthropod with its spindle-like legs and ruthless glare of death. If you see anything in the valley, let it be The World s Largest Killer Bee.

Fun place to stop commemorating the first killer bee swarm in USA. Has a sprinkler system on its back that I wished they would have turned on because it was so hot outside.

This monument commemorates the 1990 invasion of killer bees into the Rio Grandeande Valley. The monument itself is super cool to see up close, and is also lit up at night. If you are in the RGV area, it is definitely worth stopping by to see this unique roadside attraction. The monument itself is in front of a city building, and there is not much else around that area.

It was nice and different. What I didnt like is the fact that two security guards made us (an entire crowd) go in zig zags through their maze of stupid exit barricades. I was annoyed. Other than that, it was good.

If youre into large sculptures of stinging insects, the Worlds Largest Killer Bee should be #1 on your bucket list. 4 stars only because its fake..was expecting to be attacked by a real-life bee, but all in all left satisfied and weirdly moved that Hidalgo, Texas set aside money in their budget to create such a thing.. they REALLY want you to visit...
