Chedders is a great place to take it easy and have a good meal. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. While the food is really good and relatively affordable. Bird wise, you can find your usual parking lot birds but being in valley you can get some good birds flying through. Such as, great kiskadee, green jay, and green parakeet.

Always check your order when doing curbside, they tend to forget items and are always expecting a tip. Focus on providing great service rather than being rude and forgetting items. Last visit they forgot my drinks, previous to that, they forgot barbeque sauce, sometimes they forget to include the chicken altogether in my chicken Alfredo. Pay attention to what youre doing!

The food was decent and our waitress was fast and attentive. The only thing that ruined my experience was when a girl started training a new employee right next to us as we were eating. Incessantly going through the menu it made it hard for my gf and I to hold a conversation. And she stood their talking for like 10 minutes. I understand just doing your job but it showed lack of awareness or manners.

Free honey butter croissants? They were so delicious! We both had the Monte christo sandwich with raspberry jam. Oh my, it was not overly fried and greasy as oftentimes happens with type of sandwich. We were delighted with the sandwich. I had the green beans as a side which were eh..the side salad is a better option.

My friend, Maria told me about this place and she bought me here. We did not eat. However, Maria had a few beers, and I just had vranberry juice on ice (I do not drink). Our bartender, Jr. was great! I am definitely coming back!!! Vegetarian options: I am pecastarian... I did see fish on the menu.

Reason for my 1 star is bc how can you allow people to drink that horrible city water while trying to enjoy their meal? I talked to the waiter about it and he said there has been tons of complaints and still nothing has been done. Why not just sell bottle waters to the customers? ATLEAST. I currently take medications and can t mix caffeine w them if not I d order a soda. A lot of the people are diabetics in the valley as well. should take that to consideration if you re still trying to stay in business. Waiter was sweet atmosphere was beautiful and clean. Food was also to the salty side. I couldn t enjoy it bc I had no drink. But thanks anyways.

Our 55+ community planned a park night out, and decided Cheddar s would be a good spot. We did let the restaurant know ahead of time we would have 30-35 coming around 4. KUDOS Cheddar s! They were ready for us , we had 2 amazing servers and the food was timed perfect and all came out at the same time. Our Palm Garden family, ate together, with exceptional service! The restaurant was ok.. definitely not the greatest food, but it wasnt terrible. I would describe it as sub par, honestly. Waiter seemed a bit slow , not sure if thats normally what hes like. He leaned on the booth to take our order, and seemed a bit uninterested in being there. They were out of Dr. Pepper, and out of burgers. He explained that on Sundays they run out of everything. We asked if perhaps maybe they should prepare ahead of time if they know every Sunday they are going to run out of everything. Food took a little bit to arrive, and then the waiter didnt come around until after we were just about done with our food. Nothing special..

Carly was the bartender, and there was no server yet, so she helped us out since we wanted the bar area. This was Thursday around 4 thirty. The only issue was that the mens bathroom was a mess. Excellent beans and rice. All the food from the creamy shrimp dish to the vegetarian platter was awesome. Wheelchair accessibility: My mom had a walker. No problems.

Wait time was a little long(45 min)..but well worth the wait!! Food and service was great for a Friday night it was busy the whole night even when we left the restaurant the wait for tables was long..would have liked a little more draft beer selection but they had many choices to choose from on the beer selection. Food was very delicious, better than the one by Ware Rd. In Mcallen to be honest. I usually order the shrimp alfredo but decided to go with the baby back pork ribs. And they were soooo moist and fatty just how I like them amazing with the barbecue sauce. Sides were corn and loaded potato which were pretty fresh and tasty. My husband ordered chicken fried chicken and you can never go wrong with that because its just so crispy and moist. Highly recommend this place!!! Wish I could put pictures but I ate everything quickly lol.

I looking for a place to eat when I was visiting Harlingen and noticed the good reviews for this place so I decided to give it a shot, and Im glad it lived up to the hype but what contributed the most to my great experience was Brianna. I could tell she really cares for the customer and takes pride in her service vs just putting on a face just for a tip. Her genuine smile would make me smile. I hope the next time I visit I can see that smile again ! :). Also the food is better than it is in San Antonio, at least in my opinion and experience.

Never had any trouble until yesterday. I advised the kitchen I was allergic to tomatoes and ask for no tomato on my salad. I got the salad and moved it around to check and there were seeds from the tomato. It was placed on then just removed. I do not like to complain but this is an allergy.
