The restaurant was without A/C. I was not told this when I went in to order. One of the staff members, a guy - was talking about updating his resume. A girl - there only 5 months had the personality of tree bark and the girl who assisted me was nice. The manager should have been more nice and understanding about the heat in the restaurant and the poor cook, he was just dying of heat. They should have closed the restaurant until they got things fixed. This was not the first time that things like this happened. It is just so sad. I would not recommend this place.

Texas Roadhouse is of course the best steaks in town even though I didn t have a steak I had the smothered chicken which is just as good. Waiter was awesome very nice and tentative made sure we had enough bread and refills without us even asking for it. Overall would definitely be coming back time and again

We went today at around 5pm and it was packed, but we were seated (table of 5) rather quickly. Our server was amazing. The food was not great My chicken fried chicken was okay, but the white gravy was oddly sweet. The mashed potatoes had no flavor except for the brown gravy that was on top. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken & ribs and they were soaked in BBQ sauce & the sauce was not great either. One of our kids ordered the steak bites and they were super tough (but she ordered it well-done). All-in-all, I feel like I wont be visiting with my family again.

Like almost every other Trxas Roadhouse, the food was great. Service was not at the level of other Texas Roadhouse Ive been before. The waitres was with very good attittude but took 1:30hrs to have the food to hour table. After waiting, two out of three cuts were overcooked. The manager came, and despite letting know the time we have spent waiting, there wasnt any way to compensate the experience. Any other Texas Roadhouse would have offered anything to make it up to us. New steaks cooked perfectly and delicious. Customer service was not as good as expected.

Did not wait long to be seated. However once we were seated we waited for our rolls that are put at your table as you are seated. We asked for spoon twice. Not all our food was brought out at the same time we had some people in our party who had to wait an additional 10 min before they got their food. We asked for steak sauce and Tabasco sauce twice and was almost done eating before it was brought out to us. Not the service I expected.

Went for lunch at about 1:30, so it wasnt all that busy. We ordered 16 oz rare end cut of prime rib with sides and medium rare sirloin with shrimp with two sides. The prime rib was not an end cut and was not rare. The sirloin was medium, but the plate was not sent back for that reason. It was sent back because the grilled shrimp was served on two pieces of bread, despite being on the gluten free menu. By the time the corrected prime rib came out, the sides for that meal were no longer hot. The sirloin plate took even longer to come out and was placed on the table with the assurance that it was a whole new plate. It was not. The steak was cut to check the cook on it from when it came out the first time, and now it was medium well. A manager came to apologize, and said we would not be charged for the sirloin plate which we did not eat because it never came out correct! We were still charged for the tea consumed by the person who did not get a plate. I guess we should be thankful we were not charged for the side of veggies that was consumed. We were offered a new plate of food, but that offer was made once the person who ordered the prime rib was already finishing their meal. There was zero consideration for the ruined experience for the guest who had prime rib. How fun can it be to eat most of your meal in front of someone who never gets a meal they can actually consume??? (Prime rib is not gluten free, so could not be shared.) Dietary restrictions: Cant trust the gluten free menu.

Texas Road House has been My favorite place to grab a quick, healthy and consistent meal from My very first visit to the Brownsville, TX store back in the early 2000s that Eddie has managed over the years, to My most recent visit to the main store in the Bay City area of Texas. As with all of My visits, this was quite enjoyable. Perhaps of all of My 100+ visits to TRH, this one, along with Eddies in Brownsville and the store in Harlingrn and the 3 in the McAllen area, are the Best in My book. The manager was on top of her game and quite knowledgeable & friendly, the service was quick and the Kabobs (My go-to) were the best I have ever had! Im just quite pleased that I discovered TRH years ago and that there are now several in my return to My Hometown of Jacksonville, FL.

What a fun place and it checks all.the boxes. So my daughter invited me out to dinner and recently I was put on a bread restricted diet by my doctor. What a dilemma right...lol. My tummy said order that greasy hamburger with all the works but my conscious was no look for a healthier breathless option. Long story short we decided on Texas Roadhouse and I ordered the herb crusted chicken with green beans and a salad..I know it doesnt sound great but trust me it was delicious.!!!! The breast was packed with flavor and was tender and juicy and the sides didnt disappoint either. I enjoyed my night out, the service was excellent and I didnt break my diet... Texas roadhouse has always been one of our favorite restaurants. Today before going into work as a night shift nurse, my husband wanted to pick up a steak for his lunch break. I ordered food for myself as well and with the order I paid for an extra half dozen of bread since he was gonna stay at work and I was gonna go home and eat. We realized that they only gave us the complimentary bread that comes with the meal. There is absolutely no reason why I would call back and pretend that I didn t get the half dozen of bread I ordered. Not only did I have to come back to pick it up because they messed up, the employee has the audacity to question my integrity by asking me how many pieces of bread did I get with my order when I picked it up. There s a huge difference between four pieces of bread, six pieces of bread, and 10 pieces of bread. Nobody in their right mind would miss half a dozen of bread in their to go bag. I also specifically put in the order no celery sticks with my wings, and guess what, of course there was celery sticks with it. Definitely never ordering from this location again. I should ve grabbed a photo of the order with only the 4 pieces of bread but it never crossed my mind that my integrity would be questioned.

Always good here. Dont struggle at all, the waiters are 100%. The food is fast. The tickets are delivered super fast. They dont ask you if you want more soda when its a refill. They take them to you like this, you dont have to go looking for them. When you leave they give you your bread and bag of peanuts when you leave. Only the bathrooms are insufficient

Ordered two steaks medium, got them extremely well done. Over an hour later, we got our replacement steaks. Everything else was cold. Server was apologetic but did not offer to replace the sides that had been sitting on the table for an hour. Took the steak to go, still very overcooked. Wasn t even hungry by this point, but my dog had a good dinner. Won t be back here.

The food is very delicious and the service is good, the only thing is that you have to go early because of the wait since it is a very popular place, but it is worth it, I recommend the BBQ ribs, loed potatoe and the seasoned rice, they are very delicious, My child loves the mini hamburgers with fries, the drinks are also delicious. Parking: The parking lot is ample, but there is too much traffic and sometimes there are families who arrive in several cars and that makes it a little slow to find a place. Kid-friendliness: It has a childrens menu, high chairs and at the entrance they have some games of paper and crayons for children to take to their table and distract themselves while waiting.

Ordered 2- 16 oz steaks medium one was more medium well, but it was still good. Got the mushrooms and brown gravy on the side, added a little A1 to mine, and it was so good. My husband didnt add the A1 it was good either way. My daughter had the shrimp on a scewer she inhaled those and said they were delicious We had mashed potatoes with white gravy and butter corn (his were the better sides) and loaded fries and macaroni. Our 2 year old almost finished the Mac and cheese it just needed a little salt (dont worry, not a lot). Had to super cold, tall Millers With 15% tip, it was about $115 Oh, I almost forgot we also had the appetizer which had rattlesnake bites, mild wings and fried pickles, love it.

Texas Roadhouse in Harlingen, TX went full WOKE! and it shows in customer throughput. The place used to be packed everyday, we went yesterday and the bar was empty and many tables open. Most of the waitresses with the arm tattoos and nose earrings, snotty attitude. I later asked to speak with the manager and called on the telephone and they would not let me. The service was terrible, the waitress would not bring us our food, we asked for more bread rolls and did not bring it to us. We needed a refill of our tea..becasue we waited about 30 minutes for a cheeseburger and french fries from my Veterans Day coupon. I would not go back and do not recommend going there. Update.. food was better, service was better, but music was so loud you had to yell to communicate with the people at your table. Food was very salty. One steak that was ordered was over cooked. We had 4 different people come to our table initially to get drink order and appetizer order. Then one finally came back and got the dinner order. Food came out in a timely manner but after we got food we struggled to get additional help for steak sauce and additional drinks. We finally asked someone other than our waitress. Parking: They have 3 truck containers in the parking lot taking up all the parking spaces.

The first time to a Roadhouse and it won t be the last. A fun atmosphere, attentive service, great food, and reasonable prices made it a great night out. Their hot sweet buttered buns with cinnamon butter are to die for!!

Great food. Good value. BUT, the table we had was too cold to enjoy the meal. We mentioned it to the server but I guess he forgot or more likely, couldnt do anything about it. We were fine while sitting at the bar waiting for our table. So take a jacket or sweater and all will be well.

Definitely had a wonderful time, food was wonderful, our server was so sweet! I believe his name was Pedro, was as attentive as he could be with how busy the place was, he did amazingly! Cant wait to come back! Kid-friendliness: Very patient and kind with my 6 year old, he gets over whelmed easily and everyone was kind to him. Wheelchair accessibility: I dont use one but I didnt see a set of stairs anywhere, they were very kind about accomodations that I needed so I can imagine theyd be just as accommodating for wheel chair users!

This is probably the worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever ordered a meal from. I did a pick up order to go. Needless to say I m aware the food is not going to be steamy hot though I only live 7 minutes up the road. Every single 4 of our steaks appeared as if they had been previously cooked and just heated up for our order. I did order one well done that was as hard as a rock and 2 medium well and one medium rare every single one of them was way over cooked. Not to mention they were so so dry it was almost impossible to cut the darn things. Each meal should have came with the dinner roll needless to say my family loves Texas Roadhouse dinner rolls I mean who doesn t? In addition, I added a side order of a half a dozen. The only rolls we received was the half a dozen. Bummer to spend a good dime a what you would expect to be a decent meal and turn out to be the total opposite. Not sure this location is worth trying out ever again.

Absolutely loved this place. Lively atmosphere. Our wait staff was great and the food was delicious. I had steak n ribs that were perfect, wife had chicken that was moisture and really tasty. Friends had beef trips that I got a sample tast of...really really good. Im having those next time. Management even dropped by our table yo check in with us. That was a classy touch. After so many disappointing meals at other restaurants in the area I will have to say this is now to be my first choice on dining out from now on.

Very good experience. The restaurant was really busy, but it only took 15 minutes for our party of 7 to be seated. Our server, Marisela, was really attentive and friendly. It was super loud, but other than that it was great time! Fast, friendly service!

All staff were extremely cheerful when greeting and seating, made me and my team feel right at home. The quality of the ribeye and bone-in ribeye we had was exceptionally tender and juicy, cooked to the exact temperature requested. Drinks and rolls were kept flowing and peanuts are back! What a great experience-probably the best roadhouse visit I ve experienced! Kudos to the Harlingen team and our server, Darren! Will be back soon!
