Reading your reviews it s obvious you ve got some wrinkles to iron out when it comes to service, that can be overcome. You have a catchy name, a concept I wouldn t have thought up, but I wish I would ve before you did, Ha! Food was excellent! Fresh, delicious, and plentiful. You guys get the right investors asap and grow this concept before someone steals it from you! Look forward to seeing you in the DFW area sometime in the future. We have nothing to compare to it. Much luck. Oh yeah, beer and wine would be nice also. Just saying

First time ever trying ceviche and it was such a great experience! I got the classic, just because I copied what the people in front of me ordered , and it was a great choice! The produce was fresh, it was made to order and I got the fish which was super flavorful and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. Have to try their sauces for next time.

Was just at your location in Harlingen @630 09/28/23 and the Makeline was empty and dry while all the ingredients were on the island table uncovered with no employees in the area then one came out and looked lost he went out the back door and still nobody came to the front then a guy came up and I asked what time they close and he said 730 so why was nobody out here to take orders he said we take it apart to clean,, but why so early instead of when your closed then another guy came in from outside the back door nobody washed their hands or put clean gloves on ,, am very disappointed and surprised because I love this place but the last couple times I ve been to this location it has been the same issue so I don t order and am upset because I look forward to having this meal soo soo much thought you should know unless this is your protocol for them to be working and I ll take my business elsewhere smh

Every time I come to this location they have there makeline off 1hr before close and all the ingredients sitting on center table this isn t right I love this place but this needs to be addressed If not I will report this to the health department that is fish someone can get seriously sick. Food was pretty good. Service and wait time was insanely slow. Had to wait 30 minutes in line to get my food. One of the employees stopped multiple times to take off gloves, change a song, and then restart the making process which took minutes. The restaurant was also pretty dirty. Walls and painting had mysterious splatters of food from who knows how long. Again, good food just bad service and atmosphere.

Very bad service, bad attitude from the workers who are there serving me. I was waiting for more than an hour and I asked for a classic service for two people and the person who served me only gave me one and I told him that I wanted two and he didnt listen to me. I ignored and attended to the person who was behind me. When the other person asked me to charge me I told her that I ordered two and they only turned around to see what it was, she was friendly and told me that if I wanted she could do it for me but I didnt want it anymore because of the attitude that the first girl took. . I think that as customers we deserve the best service because we are going to pay for it, it is not free. There the owners should be more aware of their workers because it is not the first time they behave like this with me. Although the ceviche is very delicious, I wont go again

Had a bad experience from the start the customer service was horrible and unprofessional and that should of been my warning sign. I order 30 mins ahead for one plate got there 30 mins after I called since she said it would be 20-30 mins and waited another 20 mins when I got there. Then next day I see someone altered my tip and increased it. I called and spoke to the manager who acted like this was no big deal. Last time I checked someone taking money from your bank account was illegal. Some people should not work in customer service and that is apparently the whole crew here.

Love this place. Have been going for a few years now. Love the fact that I can pick & choose what I want to add to my ceviche. I love the traditional, but my husband loves the island. His has mango. Always get the combo ,fish and shrimp. Love that it is not fishy. Will surely go back. Service can be slow, but I blame the customers. Some dont know what they want or add extras after the fact.

Called at 3:50 pm to place an order on the phone for 6 plates. I was told there would be an hour wait. I understood it was a lot of food and a small shop, so I said okay and I would be there at 5pm. I showed up at exactly 5pm and the order was still not ready. In total, I waited an hour and a half for 6 plates. While I was there, several other customers came and left. The food is delicious but the wait was completely unacceptable, considering I had been told it would be an hour and that other customers were served before I was, even after the hour wait.

I love, love, love, the ceviche, and the service is good.... my only complaint: WHY on earth do you take call in orders if youre not going to prepare them until the customer arrives??? The plates OBVIOUSLY need to be prepared fresh to begin with. Today I walked in to order my one plate on my lunch hour. There was one person in front of me who said she had a call in order. Staff then proceeded to prepare her 5 or 6 plates right then and there, and she payed for everything separately . Someone else meanwhile walked up to the register to pay for his call in order... which of course hadnt been prepared yet. He got annoyed when I was given my order before he got his stating: so you gave someone their order before me getting my call in So please, stop taking call in orders.... especially during lunch hours. Ignorant people dont realize that their plates have to be prepared fresh and will continue to call in their orders.

Great ceviche! The food is delicious, I order the classic and add habanero! The first time I went there was disorganization on which line was which regarding ordering and pick-up. I had ordered ahead and waited for a while since the staff was busy prepping orders, rather than help me first the employee let two other people cut in line.

I ve gone to this location many times and never had any issues. The service was good and the staff is friendly. My experience was not great on my last two visits. I had placed an order to go and I was told it would take 20 minutes. When I arrived they were preparing someone else s food, that had placed an order in person and hadn t even started mine. Ok things happen, whatever. Next visit, I go and place my order in person because that seems to get them working on it faster and my food seemed to be just tossed in the container. Not really chopped, long stems of cilantro whole pieces of shrimp. Staff not knowledgeable on what they re selling. I don t think I ll be back to this location. It s so disappointing because I really started to like it.

Have visited about 5 times now and the service has gotten better every time. First time was around July 2021. They hadnt completely opened and they seem need a little understaffed and it was almost closing time. It took a while to get our orders (but I did go with family - 8 total). We waited a while and other customers were upset that this scheduled orders werent prepared on time either. Since then, ppl have felt more comfortable going back to work and mask mandates and therefore service has improved. I would give it a 4.5. Last time I visited, I called in two orders at 5pm but was not planning on picking it up till 6:30. They prepared it, I walked in, paid and was out in about 5 minutes. The only thing is... very limited parking in front of the business. Most times, you will have to park on the side.

I loved ceviche ceviche since we went to South Padre 4 years ago. I went to try the one in Harlingen and they ran out of mango must be popular. The ceviche had a fishy taste that the one on the island didnt. I wondered if they use the same fish/quality as the one in the island. But I still ate mines. Will be going to the island next time.

I was recommended this place by someone who is picky with there food. The food was excellent. Very fresh and full of flavor. I got that tingly sensation in the back of my jaw when I first bit in. Their home made sauces added a punch that left my mouth watering. I didnt even touch my drink as the food kept my palette very entertained. The portion was very generous for the cost. I was Always satisfied until today all she put was onions and cilantro and hardly any shrimp or fish. I called and the girl was very rude after telling her my employers were upset they only got that she said she didn t care and she was the manager and there was nothing I could do about it. Wow! Just left, took one bite and Im in love with this place! Told her it was my first time, she explained the menu to me and was super nice! I hear ceviche and I think of little cups with some shrimp and tomato and cilantro as a side at another restaurant, but this place aint another restaurant. This is full blown, all in, full plate of freshly prepared in front of you with either one type of seafood or a mix. There are plenty of choices and the homemade chips bring it all together so well.

Im not really one to complain, the establishment was clean, a busy crowd so you know they have good business. However, all my co-workers have told me to go check out this place and today was the first time, I had placed an online order, and waited my time in line to receive, then when it was my turn I grabbed my food and left to my car, but when I checked inside their was a used bandaid right on top of the box. When I returned because of this issue, the lady redid my order which was very good, however could hear her overtalking to another worker and said I found your thingy at first the other co worker didnt understand and then asked about it and the worker that was helping me told her it was on top of her food not in her food. However, if this is a restaurant and customers find used band-aids in, near, or around their food especially for the first time. It was disgusting, she didnt ask if I would like a refund just automatically redid the whole order like it was no big deal.
