This is a very popular venue. Theres little league baseball, tennis, basketball courts, exercise machines, and a walking trail. The scenery is also outstanding.

Great place to have a fun afternoon with friends or kids. The baseball fields are typically locked though. The lights for the trails are not bright at night. After the incident that happen to that poor girl, i would hope the city would do better. Ducks need a gate placed or something to protect them better. I always see unalived ducks on the street. Breaks my heart. Playground: Good size. All in good condition Toilets: Dirty and smelly. Occasionally no toilet paper. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are always being walked around on leashes. Picnic area: There are benches set up around the park.

Not as nice as I had hoped. Trash everywhere, giant fire ant hill in the kid playing area, and all the handicap accessible items were broken. Rest of the park is quite nice to walk around and that s generally what we do since the play area is too trashed.

Its such a nice park that should not be neglected this way. So much litter everywhere even in the duck pond. Poor things look hungry. I even saw one dead. The playground is not well kept many things broken such as the instruments. Its been like this for quite a while. I wonder Where all our tax money is going? Cause it should be going for fixing things like this. How sad.

Beautiful park. We loved the playground, especially the turf for playing. It has things for a big age range, with our 10 month old having fun crawling around & our 2-8 year olds playing on the equipment. Pretty good cover from the sun too.

We take kids to walk at this park, they enjoy it. They have tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball court, a playground, and a small pond full of ducks. Restrooms could use an update. But overall its a good park.

Public Park located near athletic fields with bathrooms at the entrance and very a large pavilion with grills. The park itself is gated and a pathway encircles it so adults can walk around outside if they wish to do so.

This place is excellent. Best park Ive been to in Harlingen. Mosquitos are bad this time of year, but great park anyway. Lots of ducks and squirrels and turtles. Beautiful to walk through. Good playground for the kids, some exercise equipment. The veterans memorial is well done, though I dont understand why they made the boulder for Iraq/Afghanistan so short.

Since Valley Baptist Gym is closed, my wife and I now use Pendleton Park as our gym. It has running/jogging/walking track(mostly not hard surface), exercise machines, basketball court(look out for my 60 foot 3 point shots) and ducks.
