Today I visited the place for the first time and I was surprised by how delicious everything we ordered was. It is a small place, a little messy, but I would return for the delicious seasoning without hesitation.

The steak tacos were ugly, the meat had a strange smell, I spoke and told them and not even an apology, the person who answered is very rude. The Mexican burger did not have lettuce or jalapenos and to finish grinding it, the tacos dw trompo were very dry and the woman still acts dignified... not recommended, the worst Mexican food... and what bad customer service.

On business trip, seeing so many Mexican food places, I see this small spot and said to myself, this has got to be the Goliath of Mexican food and it did not disappoint. We are not Hispanic and rarely eat Mexican food every few years but this is by far one of the top 3 on my list, that says a lot! The other two were in Mexico. I recommend the menudo and the street tacos, wish I had more time there, I would have went through the entire menu. It has very limited parking but worth it if you find a spot.

This place had no cars when we pulled up. It was just before 8:00 AM. We got two chorizo and egg burritos and 6 tacos Al pastor. We were traveling back to Dallas and needed real food! By the time we left the restaurant was packed! The food was flavorful, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

This place doesnt deserve a star, the customer service at the beginning was good, but they forgot, no sauce, no more refills for drinks, not even what else we need and the salty Menudo already thickened the broth, I didnt even eat it and the food was My friend was terrible and yes it was special but its not fair because they are special they give us what is already bad so we dont lose they put it on special, I stood up and went to pay and they asked me how everything was and they asked me and I told them and Even so, they charged me the price when I told them that I had left everything there because the waitress never came back to tell them. I will never go to that disgusting place with flies in there again. I do not recommend it!.

If you love Mexican food at its finest this is the place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reasonable price, great food and friendly customer service great atmosphere. Ive enjoyed Mexican food all over the valley but I must say this place taqueria el mante is one of 3 places I call my go too restaurants that wont disappoint you. We love taqueria el mante, very satisfied family.

Very good seasoning of the exquisite sauce. Lemon water is natural. And they serve coffee. The stews are very tasty. Just pay more attention to cleaning the floors. I saw a small cockroach already dead. It looks very bad. I didnt even want to mention it because the flavor is one of the best Ive ever tasted, however.

Was very happy to finally try this place , they had great flavored caldo and rice and spicy salsa that was on point , they also gave me real homemade tortillas ! They were very soft. Wish they had natural aguas frescas. Before I forget theyre charo beans were good , with good bacon in it.

On the corner of M & Frontage. First time visiting. Not too bad. Reasonable prices, limited but good service and food was great. Tried the Taco Tatan (fajita,mollegas and tripas taco with cheese bean and avocado. Fantastic. Well served. Wife had traditional lonches. Tasted very good. Definitely be back to try something else

Ive been a fan of tacos el mante since I tried them in San Benito. Tonight my wife and I stopped by their location on the corner of M & expressway. Huge disappointment. In our culture were very big on NEVER leaving someone hungry. It was 12 minutes till close but they wouldnt even make us something to go?!?! NEVER AGAIN

I will start first with that their food is outstanding and delicious andnif you come here you need patience. It feelsnlike there is one cook and yhe people taking the orders have no idea on how to tell people correctly how much time to prepare. Every time I do pick up they say 10-15 minutes. Real time is 30-50 minutes. This is the only frutrating thing and reason for 3 stars instead of 5. Like I said food is very delicious cashiers are pleasant but damn if they dont ruin it by telling how long. Please come and enjoy the food truly is awesome.

Its a small, clean establishment. The service from waitress was prompt. I ordered the sampler special off their menu. I was not impressed with the food that day. The bistek had flavor but was too dry. And although the daily specials include a tea, i was charged. $1.49 for mine. I had mixed reviews on this taqueria. Hope your experience is better than mine.

I had never been to that place. it was awful I ordered lonches and I get shredded meat on two hamburger buns with about 1/2 a slice of avocado, mind you they still brought out three of them who would eat that the bundle were soggy with grease literally soggy and they still charged regular price.
