Two of the tennis courts are marked off for pickleball. Why doesnt the city mark off all of the tennis courts for Pickleball. We have to use chalk sometimes to mark the third court. Doesnt take much money for the city to do it with tape. Winter Texans contribute a lot to the community, and we are Winter Texans.

Large and small dog play areas. Lots of waste bags available. Picnic tables and benches for humans to sit on. Well maintained with the exception of the owners that have failed to cleanup after their dogs. Muddy in certain areas after it rains. I always stop here with my pup so he can get his sniff on and has the chance to play with other dogs. Most people are friendly and the dogs get along. Playground: Kids playground is nearby. Toilets: A bathroom for Men and Women is just outside the dog park.

We love this park (and not only because it s one of the few dog parks in the area)! The Harlingen Rotary Bark Park has always been well-kept and clean during our visits. Beware of the mud and puddles during rainy days since there aren t any hoses to wash down your doggos.

Nice little park to take your short people and doggos. My daughter accidentally left her bookbag on the playground and despite there being numerous others there at the time, the bag was right where we left it safe and sound when we returned an hour later. Playground: Lots of cool stuff for the kids. Toilets: Mostly clean.

Always mowed, love that I have a safe place to take my dog to, in order to burn some energy. Only down side is we have come after it rains, and the grass tends to be soggy and flooded as people here say so it takes a day or two of heat to get back to normal. I come here often and only one time there were aggressive dogs, and luckily they were in the big dog section, and the owner was on it. Only other thing I should mention is that you should look out for the occasional land mine. Not everyone picks up after their dog (I have seen it several times) so use caution when walking.

Excellent park, well cared for. 2 sections for dogs by weight. So smaller dogs in one area and larger dogs in the other. Lots of equipment for dogs to climb and play on if they choose.

This dogpark no longer has bags to pick up your dogs messes! Please beware it seems funding for these items are no longer provided. We may see that this park maybe on a decline. I m not sure if funding maybe a problem. If you take your dog be prepared to bring your own bags!

This is a wonderful park! Both the large and small dog areas have Plenty of space for the dogs to run! There are benches for humans, water and obstacles for the dogs. Plenty of poo pick up tools and bags. The humans we encountered there were friendly and courteous. A must on the places to go for your furry friend

I LOVE this park. Its gets flooded when it rains, but when its dry, its such a great place for the puppers to play. Theres a fountain they can drink out of and the little dogs are separate from the big dogs. Everyone is usually friendly. Do not take aggressive dogs to the park (derp).

Honestly it s way better than the dog park in Brownsville. I drive from Los Fresnos all the way over here so my Onyx can play with friendlier dogs and meet friendlier people. Her best friend is a German Shepherd named Lexi. Let your puppies meet Lexi, she s a good playmate.

Very nice park for your pet. I went by today, Sunday, wasnt hardly any people. Seems to be relaxing and park looked clean with the exception of the tennis courts. Had lots of trash on the inside of the courts by the fence.

Two nice large fenced in areas for your dogs to play with their friends. My only disappointment was that way too many people are not cleaning up after their dogs. Please be responsible people! No one likes to dodge land mines while theyre playing with their pet.

Its a nice park, its big, it has water, but the fence is a joke, my beagle could easily fit through it, if you have small dogs this is not the place for you, specially so close to the highway, my dog is too friendly for his own good, he wanted to play with the dogs on the other side and tried to go under the fence to go play with a friend he made over the fence, so we had to leave, whoever designed it and put the fence is not a very bright person, how can you leave a gap ALL AROUND THE FENCE. Not recommended at all, we will not be going back.

I really really love this place but today I had one of the worse scares of my life when my two smaller dogs somehow went under the fence and beelined it to the highway. I had to jump the fence and go after them. This was at the tiny dog side. The fences are not secure!

I love going here! Its very nicely maintained, I wish there was more shade, but its still a nice area to visit with your pup. I always luck out and run into the nicest people and the cutest, friendliest dogs. Its really thoughtful that they have a water fountain for both humans and our pets, as well as little waste bags for clean-up.
