I wish I would ve taken a picture but my food was gone. I was too concentrated. So I got the Horchata drink, Street Taco plate with carne (steak), and a Caramel Churro. Lemme tell you, I m from Washington DC area and them tacos at this shop were so flavorful!! The Horchata was just right, the tacos were full of meat baby they were not stingy at all. Then the churros were so FRESH..not burnt, not overly cooked just right!! Then the prices were so decent as well, especially for the quality!! I loved every bite!!! Thank you LA tacos for my warm welcome to Dallas!

My favorite place to eat at whenever I visit Dallas-Irving area. Gina is hands down the best. She an excellent waitress combines professionalism with warmth and attentiveness. She is friendly and approachable, greeting guests with a smile that makes them feel welcome. Her timing is impeccable always nearby when needed but never hovering, ensuring drinks are refilled, and plates cleared promptly. The kitchen does a great job getting your food out quick, hot and fresh. Definitely recommend.

I rarely rate foods. I have had lots of Mexican food, and I think tacos are usually the safest choice. I did not like the Mexican style or the fish Tacos at all. The pork was too oily, the fish was too dry. The Mexican rice was too bland. May be I m used to authentic taste. The taste was not balanced at all.

I m a regular here the food is amazing I always get the surf and turf taco plate add sour cream and queso. The only problem I have is the prices were already a little steep but they jacked up even more because of inflation and it s very understandable. I now can t go as much as I use to, only when I have a good amount of money I treat myself. The food is worth the price by the way I just can t afford it

Chips and guacamole are the best IMO in the whole metroplex! The barbacoa street taco plate is excellent and I always have food left over to have for lunch the next day. If you come during happy hour on weekdays and dine in you get 15% off your bill. The girls at the front are super sweet. The stuffed churros will put you in a good food coma, haha! Enjoy!

Descent place, considering it s Irving (Irving is not a great place). Me and my friends dined in for 30 mins. Everything was good, except the environment, it seemed a bit dirty and people were shady. *** EDIT*** after a month of my review for L.A. Tacos, they actually replied today (see pics to see their reply) and I cant, but to feel confused, why would you want a guest to come back... When you stated we do not black pepper in the salsa yet, it is obvious my salsa Had black pepper, the beans had black pepper, I am sure the location has some sort of surveillance cameras, I think it is time to check those in stead of indirectly denying me of what an awful XP I had with your food. Maybe your team it is not paying attention to what they are doing with the food while prepping and I had the luck of being the one who tried it. If you are not learning from the HONEST reviews, then I sincerely do not know what could help! Yesterday we stopped by L.A. Tacos to grabbed some late lunch, I asked if they served Birria Tacos and the lady stated they did not, they only have what is written on the menu. I then ordered Tacos al Pastor, we also ordered some Carne asada tacos and also a burrito. Some chips and salsa arrived to the table, and as I reached to dipped my chip into the salsa, I noticed the salsa had black pepper in it (I personally would say, way too much black pepper to my taste) so I did not ate that. Food arrived and we were certainly excited (Food makes me Happy ) Yet, I noticed my Tacos did not look nearly close to what an actual Taco Al pastor Look like, nor smells like my Husband noticed right away me looking at my food in a certain (analyzing way) and Kindly reminded me the fact many do make food in different ways, so I decided to try the tacos anyway... as I bit one of them... I bit a chunk of what it would be the fat of the meat (this is ODD cause actual cuts for Tacos al partos have NO FAT in them!) I noticed the meat had NO flavour either and the meat was overly juicy (like it had some sort of juice, when originally tacos al Pastor are just so much more different) lastly I noticed they were also lacking the pineapple in them. I ate one taco and just left the other 2, cause I do not like forcing myself to eat things I do not enjoy (My husband took them to go and ate them) I tried the beans and did not liked them cause strangely also the beans had TONS of black pepper in them. I can NOT say this place is bad, I am not sure we would come back in the near future. In the mean time it is safe to share, the food it is just not my style.

I always go with the tacos and it always does the job. They pack a lot of meat into each taco which is awesome for me. The red sauce is great, this is my spot if I had a good week and the staff is very welcoming. 10/10 Edit: just came in since my last review and walked out. The price for the taco plate jumped up nearly $5 as well as the rest of the menu. The food was good for the price but now it s not. Good luck LA tacos, looked real busy in there was also asked to give a good review after my last visit.

I was generally unimpressed, though it wasn t bad it s just that with options you have in Irving for tacos, you have the ability to be picky. My coworker and I stopped here for lunch to try out some of their tacos. You ll order at the counter, seat yourself, and your food will be delivered to you. I ordered the chips and guacamole for us to share and I didn t like it at all. It didn t taste freshly made but more so store bought. For the tacos, I ordered the Mexican style taco plate (3 tacos + rice/beans). The meats I choose: chicken, carne asada, and al pastor on a corn tortilla. The rice and beans definitely didn t come out hot (lukewarm) and the meat (tacos) just wasn t good. The only thing I enjoyed was the sauces to top your food with and the fruit punch jarriots ordered. I won t be back.

Came here for dinner. Wasn t too busy, food came out fast. First thing I noticed was the presentation of the taco plate was very clean and organized. I found the taco plate a good value, lots of meat. I didn t like the tortas but that could have just been my palate. Very tasty, I would definitely return. I work in the area and decided to try this place. I got the street tacos on flour tortillas. Two barbacoa and one carne asada. One of my barbacoa tacos was all fat meat and both of them were super greasy. The Carne asada was dry and flavorless. I would give 5 stars if this place offered a veggie burrito to the menu. I know I can ask for one w/o meat, but thats not the same as having a burrito thats made with a generous amount of roasted vegetables. That said, Im not a vegetarian, but sometimes I just prefer a veggie burrito. They do make a really good burrito otherwise. Horchata is good too!

We placed a catering order for our buisness here, 145 tacos, 10lbs of rice and 10lbs of beans, chips and salsa and got a great price as well as great customer service!!! This was my first time here. Small but very nice and clean place. I was a little worried because it was not busy but I decided to give them a try. I was warmly greeted and ordered the Mexican plate with chicken tacos. I was impressed with the drink selection but I did not get anything because I had just finished a large drink. The lady working the counter brought over salsas and an iced water for me. That was very nice. The food came out quickly and everything was really good. I got way too full and had to stop eating. The portions were generous compared to other restaurants plate meals. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place for anyone who likes Mexican food.

I wanted to check this place out because my daughters new school is close by. She got some crispy tacos and I got the LA tacos plate. Both of us thought these were some of the best tacos weve ever had! The rice and beans were really good (my daughter stole mine lol), and both of us left the place very full. My boyfriend and I stopped to eat here on our trip to DFW and we ended up getting our money back. I managed to choke down a few bites, keeping to myself, how dry, and old my meat on the Mexican Style Tacos was. When I looked up my boyfriend was spitting his first bite back into his napkin. Needless to say, it didnt bother him driving back up there for a refund, after already driving several hours on our trip. I wished Id gone to the restroom BEFORE we ever ordered our meal because I would have second guessed eating there after the overwhelming smell of urine in the womens bathroom probably due to the gross site of urine on the sides of the womens toilet. I was scared to wash my hands in there and did so with caution. I decided to use my elbows to exit the bathroom and the store. We definitely would not recommend this place to anyone traveling through here.

Carne Asada Fries are food for my soul, and the closer they are to West Coast style; the better. Not quite Robertos Taco Shop, but still really satisfying. Churros were also good, both vanilla and caramel. Their food creations are unique and their own and they are definitely worth a shot or two.

My friend and I came here yesterday and the restaurant was full (which in my opinion is a great sign)!! Our food was brought to us by the owner himself who was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of! My food was hot and fresh and tasted amazing! I ll be back for sure. I got the carne asada tacos and they were delicious!

Five stars. The food was terrific I come from Chicago, I am a truck driver and I go around to different cities for work and when I have time I stop and try Mexican food to compare to back home and I can honestly say this was up there on my favorites. Keep up the good work.

Been here twice because I like their sopes. Staff is extremely friendly. Fast service too. Check them out. Edit:This has become my go to spot since moving to Texas. I come here minimum once a week. The ladies that work there are super friendly and professional. The cooks do a great job making delicious food. The place is always thoroughly clean and the prices are great!

Food was really good. Portions were huge. I got a regular burrito and was only able to eat half and took the other half to go. Place was slightly busy but most people were placing to go orders and waiting on food. Place was clean, staff was friendly and food was freshly made.

Best hidden gem for Mexican food. I saw the reviews but I had to try myself and the reviews were certainly correct. I loved everything I ordered nachos, tacos, flautas & quesadillas. Nachos was my ultimate favorite! I stay in another area but I will go out of my way to stop there & eat. Love it!

bad customer service, the cashier was rude it took 30 minutes to serve the food, the restaurant was empty so there was no one else but us. The prices are high for the poor attention they give!

For a quick bit for lunch, this is anhidden gem! Got 3 taco to go, the smells was great coming from the bag, had to pull over and take a bite. Added some Onions and celantro, what a great taco, when in Irving swing by and enjoy the some great food.
