Summertime. Good old fashioned, family friendly, neighborhood park. Great experience taking walk along trail. The scenery is beautiful with live ducks walking around. Watch your step!! Poop is like a minefield when you go past the ducks! Pool (when in season)and playground open for kids. Basketball court new to park. Playground: Good for ages 3 to 10. Provides shelter to protect from direct sunlight. Toilets: Restrooms were open and clean for public. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space along trail to walk dogs and share with other pedestrians. Plus poop stations along trail. Picnic area: Not too much area granted for picnic functions. So if you have a big group might want to see about reserving space 1st.

Carl Levin is a wonderful park where kids can go ahead and play and run around. It has beautiful scenery of the pond with the ducks walking around while walking on the trail around the whole community park. Many picnic tables are there as well so families and friends can have cookouts.

Lots of new and varied playground equipment for the kids to play on, plenty of shaded seating next to playground, peaceful trails to walk, lovely gardens to look at, clean bathroom facilities (womens was), take a book/ leave a book lockers, pool will be open soon, and much more but we really only went for the playground this time. Great park, we will be back to explore more, very soon! Playground: Large playground with new equipment, climbing apparatus, slides, swings, tunnels, faux hill, something for all ages. Toilets: Clean and close enough to the playground for those with little ones who give 2.3sec notice before an accident. Dog-friendliness: We took our dog and saw several others while we were there. There is not an actual dog park but they are welcome to join the family outing or an evening walk. Picnic area: There were multiple picnic tables near the playground, if you want to picnic-n-play I believe I saw some in other areas as well, but we only went to the playground on this visit.

Great path to walk or jog, wide open fields to hang out in, ponds, pool, ducks, playground, bathroom, pavilions, grills, I mean what more could you want from a park/recreation area? Its clean and kept, the playgrounds is covered, the bathroom isnt a disaster and a half, theres plenty of parking! Trees to sit under while the kids play. There are loads of people here, and theres a good reason why. Playground: Its large covered and right next to a bathroom, garden, and the parental benches are covered by trees and theres plenty of seats to go around. Toilets: Near the playground and garden, about what you can expect from an outdoors/public bathroom. Its not destroyed or in disarray that speaks volumes on its own Picnic area: Being honest the whole park can be a picnic area, there are benches and pavilions all over the place.

It has a basketball court, along with a playground area and is landscaped with cedar trees providing shade to sitting areas. There s such a great touch to this park as they have a community garden available for local folks to garden flowers, fruits and vegetables. Definitely a nice place to go most anytime of the year.

They have a running trail with multiple paths, a pond with a fountain that you can also fish in, basketball courts, playground, gazebos, covered patios with tables and grills, and workout stations. There is also a community pool. The entire park is well maintained. You will frequently see city staff there taking care of the facilities. There are bathrooms by the playground that are some of the cleanest park bathrooms I ve seen. There is a community garden there as well but I believe you have to be a member of the group that runs it to access it. I go running at this park frequently. Everyone is friendly and it s very family focused. If you re looking to bring your kids somewhere nice to play, this park is a great option.

Playground: The playground provides plenty of entertainment for the kids, a climbing rock and some swings for kids of all ages. Plenty of picnic tables and benches surrounding the immediate vicinity of the playground. Toilets: Restrooms are normally clean and taken care of, needs a little fixing up but overall pretty good compared to Lion Park Bathrooms. Needs more care and more benches. They should put fences around of playground so kids do not wonder around, because there are some blind spots that you can not see where your kid is. ( Like the climbing rock in the middle, blocks the view ) Somehow always there are some big teens are playing or swinging, they break things) It is a big park and they can add more playsets.

UPDATE: Things have been repaired. Basketball court has been completely re-done. Great updates to the whole park! Brought the kids for the playground, only to find equipment broken, slide was blocked off with plywood, there was caution tape on parts of the play structure, and huge mud puddles prevented the use of what swings there were. We left and went to the community park down the street.

It is an excellent park , dont really have anything bad to say about it! Playground: Very nice playground, my Grandson loves it there ! Toilets: Really dont know about the Restrooms ! Never used them ! Dog-friendliness: Very dog - friendly, you do have to clean up after your fur baby! But they have plastic bags and trash cans ! How easy is that ! Picnic area: Picnic area is awesome, if it is a larger group you do have to make a reservation and pay a fee , but that is cool !
