Decent place for country dancing and other dancing. Considering how busy it gets, the bartenders do a great job on average. They just replaced the dance floor so now it is nice and smooth! The only thing that sucks about the place is the smoking inside the building

It was a rare night for my wife and I to get out and shake our tails. My wife loves line dancing and she said this place came highly recommended from friends. Mind you, weve never been here before and rarely go out at all. We walked into the building in a lobby type area. There was a young lady at the cashiers machine but she was on her phone for some time. I looked around and no one seemed to care that we had been standing there without accomplishment for a solid 5 minutes. There was no one in front or behind us. We were both a little confused as we didnt know if there was a cover charge being that no one acknowledged our presence. We waited, then we walked in. I heard a yell, probably from the cashier and a little fellow asked me to go back and pay. I apologized and told him it was our first time there and didnt know because she was busy on her cell phone. I walked up to the cashier and told her, I dont have an issue paying but you were on your phone. She said, what? Paused, processed, then immediately walked to a gent outside. We were perplexed. We waited still and the same small fellow came as be asked us to step outside to which another gent with a large beard said, Im sorry but we cant let you in. I replied, why? Whats the problem? He said well sometimes people try to come in a little too drunk and we reserve the right to refuse service. Mind you again, its just my wife and I and Im the designated driver, not a lick to drink. I told him the first issue I have is, you assuming Im drunk when Im clearly not, second is not even asking me or giving me some assumptive explanation as to why. My wife asked to speak to a manager. I told her, Id rather not give them a penny of my money and left. We headed back to Copperas Cove and hit FUBAR, no line dancing and the crowd is a bit younger but we had a great time. I wouldnt recommend Wild Country place for some 40 somethings looking to line dance.

Went there to go 2 stepping. The club is Wild full of young 21+ and their type of jumping music. If you want country you will have to wait an hour while they play whatever music that doesn t fill up a dance floor. Management does try to make the customers happy till that hour of prerecorded music is done. Bartenders make awesome drinks so l am told. The 15 of us that went were not impressed. To each their own. Live music are at other dance halls.

One time they kicked out this guy for no reason he didn t even have a beer and just told him they need to talk to him outside then after being confused, he went outside and called the cops on him , he did nothing wrong he didn t even get his first beer that he ordered he was just sitting at the table with his boys , I saw their security guards keep on trying to flirt with girls ,even after they get rejected , and still continue to harass them , nobody should go here this place is weird , toxic for no reason , and bad people that run the place , if you do come here bring a camera with you or something to record to expose these nasty people and , they are disgusting .

We ordered around 10 drinks total for 2 people and not even slightly buzzed or even felt the drinks. Even straight shots did nothingt we believed alcohol was watered down to nothing, and a guy kept walking around taking away cups that wasnt even empty. We didnt try any food options. By far the worst place Ive been. Would not recommend

Litterally trash. They got a new show and they litterally o ly played country music for like 2 hours total the rest of the night was like vulgar rap music. The bouncers were grinding on the girls. And the floor is reallly slippery and prices of the wood sticking up.

The music is meh. The scene is what you would expect from a small town. I went on Friday and it was pretty packed. I always dress up cute when I go out but I was the only one who did. Apparently its a very casual environment. Lots of jeans on the dance floor. The only attractive person I saw the whole night was a bouncer. If you still decide to go, bring only extroverted friends because they will make the event less excruciating.

Tanya and Heather are amazing on the bar. This place has 2-stepping, line dancing, and all other types of music to dance to how ever you like. I love the energy and the atmosphere. If you arent into dancing, there are pool tables, couches, or bar stools to sit back and watch the festivities. There is so much fun here, I definitely recommend coming and checking it out if you are around Harker Heights. It is one of the only nightclubs in the area.

I went to wild country for the first time yesterday. The bartender was so nice and gorgeous! Her drinks were just right and then my night was ruined by an older man behind the bar with a nasty attitude and a barney bag of audacity. His attitude was not very live love laugh and he def needs to watch the way he speaks to people :) other than that the bartender was amazing and she was doing the damn thing I ll be back for her only.

The drinks are good and the atmosphere is nice. Smoking indoors is allowed. A bit on the pricey side if youre not buying the specials. Pool is 1.50 a game and the dance floor can get crowded easily. There was confetti on it that made it very slick. The music is everything from club to saloon.

So I went to this spot nice place and nice atmosphere. Then I have a random person walk up to my male friend and tell us to go outside and talk to someone. We get outside and its an African American bouncer who asks us how we were getting home? What I dont understand is if we were doing something wrong why didnt the Caucasian bouncer just ask us instead of sending us to the African American bouncer? Why ask us to leave? We didnt do anything wrong, no arguments with anyone, we were spending money at the bar and honestly, I felt we were profiled and discriminated against. There werent many African Americans in there. Im a soldier serving in the military, I felt totally disrespected and discriminated against and its sad. We calmly left. I didnt like that. We came as a couple. We werent drunk and it just outright made me feel uncomfortable. The music was great but I dont recommend this place for African Americans, especially if you are a dark-skinned male.

I go to this bar almost every Friday with my friends and even though I cant drink(Im 19), I have so much fun dancing and teaching my friends how to line dance. All the staff are super friendly and I always carry extra cash on me to make sure I tip them for their service. The music is really new and sometimes repetitive but its always nice to listen to and just relax. The staff does make sure you stay safe by stamping your hand with a cowgirl stamp if your underage and they check your ID upon arrival as well. No weapons(not even pepperspray) are allowed inside and if you do have a weapon they kindly ask you to put it in your vehicle. Will still be coming here for many years to come.

November 3 2007 me and 3 battle buddies went to this club for a good time but instead I woke in the hospital with a fractured skull and an injured neck. Me and a battle decided to ride the mechanical bull that was in the establishment. When it was my turn I tried to lean over and let go to fall on the padding but my foot got stuck on the front of the saddle. Instead of stopping the bull the operator sped it up and threw me into the iron reels that was on the side. One of my buddies said he gave me mouth to mouth and another called 911. I was told the operator laughed and that the club didnt do anything while I was lifeless on that floor. I didnt wake up until the next afternoon (13½hours later) when I heard my Plt SFC and 1Lt talking. After a few months of learning basic skills again (23 years old) I found a lawyer to take the case but he wanted a copy of the waiver from the club. When I tried to get in they wouldnt allow me entry. I was never able to get that waiver to pursue legal action fir injuries I am still dealing with 24/7, 365, for the past 14½ years. Anyone knows a lawyer?

This place has the great atmosphere, great music, its a very Texas themed club. It would be a 5 star place easily if they knew how to run a bar. The staff was very welcoming and nice, but they had no clue how to bar tend, very poor alcohol selection, and they limit your drinks right around $60-$70 (happened to some friends of mine, I wouldnt spend my money here on drinks). The cocktails are like 90% soda water 10% alcohol and they charge a little too much for what you get. Also, Jack and Coke is not a cocktail... dont try and charge people like it is. Thats a college frat kid drink, it shouldnt be more than $3...

Pool tables need to be cleaned on a regular, missing or duplicate billiards so the game is not as fun.....the drinks are cheap but the bouncers...even visiting there 1 time, if they do not know you they stare you down....annoying but i understand.... It is a bar So drink responsibly and have fun!! Other then that Wild Country Gets Wild

Great music, great place, great atmosphere, and great people! Only real complaints about the place is that you have to be seated in order to order drinks and most of time there is no seats available and even once you find a seat the servers only come around every 30 minutes. So unfortunately after being there for over an hour our entire party werent able to get any drinks and as we were thinking about leaving good old Andrew Jackson saved the night and made sure we always had drinks!
