First time here and wont be the last! Im new to DFW and Im so glad I stopped by. Eddie, who may be the owner, was so welcoming and courteous. He does such a great job at making you feel at home. The atmosphere was very homey, meaning it made me feel like I was earing a family members house. And the food was quick and most importantly delicious! I can see why they got such high ratings and its truly well deserved. I recommend the pork cubes for an appetizer and I tried their pad see ew, equally amazing in flavor. Next time Im back, Ill try the Lao food as those also look so tasty on the menu! Great job Eddie and to all who are reading, this is DEFINITELY a Spot to hit up! Vegetarian options: You can order tofu as your protein! Parking: Its in a strip mall so parking is plentiful.

We stopped here after our plans for pizza before a movie fell through and we have zero regrets! The menu had all the standard Thai fare, along with dishes we were unfamiliar with, which made us even more excited to try the food. We ordered the Lao pepper steak (that I forgot to take a pic of), the drunken noodles with crispy fish, and the Sabai pork cubes. Everything was PACKED with flavor! If you are going to try ANYTHING new, please please get the Sabai pork cubes! The man at the register was really enthused about this dish as well. Imagine perfectly crisp pork morsels, delightfully seasoned and full of umami, even before dipping it into the provided chili dip. They were PERFECT - I could order 5 of them alone to just eat for a meal. The drunken noodles had more fish sauce taste than I normally have it, but I love that as a Viet person myself It was also filled with fresh veg, as well as a surprisingly generous amount of crispy fried fish! I kind of wish the fish itself had more seasoning, but the noodles were so flavorful that it didn t really need it. The portion was pretty big too, but I couldn t help but absolutely demolish it. We would absolutely come back to try even more of the menu!

Our first time here was wonderful thanks to Tupe s customer service, the best coconut rice cake and delicious entrees. The owner Money makes the coconut rice cake - customers can have this as a dessert or order it ahead of time as a whole cake. The basil and pineapple fried rice with chicken were perfection. There is plenty of seating inside and ample parking outside. We will be back!

We ordered an order of chicken green curry and spicy shrimp mama noodles both level 3 spicy and they were so good and filling. I live far from here but if you re around the area you have to try this place, customer service was stellar.

So, I met a college friend here whom I hadnt seen since 1993, over 30yrs WOW. 1st time as we were meeting at a halfway between our locations. I walked in to a small quaint restaurant. Clean. Smelled good. I didnt see any alcohol,so I asked the lady if they had any alcoholic beverages, in which she said no but you can bring your own!!! Thats a negative for me and I would of just left but as I stated earlier, meeting college friend. She stopped and grabbed beer so once she arrived I was a little better. I ordered the spring rolls with shrimp. Delicious . I ordered the pad Thai extra spicy. It wasnt spicy to me which is not good. Instead they just give me the hot peppers mixture to put on it!!!! When I request a spicy level from 0-5 and tell you a 10 Thats what I mean. She said they would do a 5 and give me the spicy stuff to make it more. I used both little containers as the food had no spice to it!!!!! My friend has the pannag curry. She loved it as she ate it all. I barely ate my food besides one of the spring rolls.

Love this small locally owned Thai restaurant! Having spent a year in Thailand, I am always looking for Thai restaurants with great food. Sabai Thai delivers. My favorite dish is Pad Grapow Paa (Spicy Thai Basil Fish). They offer lunch specials, Thai and Lao food, and the food is consistently good. I highly recommend them for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is a small casual store front.

Wonderful owners! Was greeted by them when we walked in, first time customers, they were eager to answer any questions and explain the dishes. I bought the beef jerky strips, purple sticky rice with mango(rice alone is sweet and delicious, it is a dessert item, but the mango just adds a whole better twist/flavor) I ordered the curry pork soup, last time i had curry flavored anything i hated it, gave this a try since i wanted something more traditional and trying new things. I have to say it was very delicious and not a very strong coconut/curry flavor, prok was great, was on the bone so you had to spit the bones out, you can make it spicy, 1-5 i ordered 3out of 5 spice level, it made you sweat due to the temp of the building and soup, but its more of a flavor spice, added hot oil to level up the spice which made me warm up even more. We live an hr south so this place isnt a daily stop but if we are up in grapevine again we are going to have to try the curry or the sweet and sour crispy fish, we tried the taro rolls and they were prettt dang good. We ordered two appetizers, two entress, two canned roasted coconut drinks and two desserts and it was around $65-70, but i tipped around 18%-20% so it brought it up. Money well spent and would recommend this place to anyone who loves or wants to try thai, lao, or Cambodian cuisine.

I would have taken photos of the beautiful food had I not been compelled to attack it with my very being. Wonderful Thai and Lao dishes. Cant wait to come back and try the Cambodian dishes. Hostess was very kind and helpful in exploring the menu. Highly recommended!

Service was great. People are super nice and welcoming. The place was very nice great vibes and good menu options. Our food came out amazing. I love every bite and wanted more but we were so full. Thai tea was very good a lil heavy on the ice but very tasty. Food came out so fast I was very shocked especially for how much and tasty it was. A great place to go for any occasion especially if youre in a rush need a bite to go thats so good and worth it.

The place was very clean. The food was okay. I ordered Thai summer Rolls, PadThai and Thai tea. Very large portion of the Pad Thai, but both dishes didnt quite live to my expectations. The summer Rolls had no flavor. It was just plain bland. Shrimp and noddles and lots of lettuce. Oh must say I did enjoy the peanut sauce. The PadThai was too sweet and just flavorless. They ran out of tea and ended up with coffee, not full cup. BTW not made fresh. They have them in cups already in the fridge, I believe they may finish them up with ice and milk. I wanted to give them a higher score I just was not impressed. Ive had way better dishes.

This place has the best food! Their portions are generous and always delicious. I ordered catering from them and they were quick and prompt the day of! Everything was fresh. I got so many compliments on the food. Their mango sticky rice is soo good! They use purple rice which is much better than other places that use sweet white rice.

The best Thai food outside of Thailand actually better than many restaurants in Bangkok. I lived there for many years and so appreciate the explosion of flavor in the dishes. The Thai basil in any dish that uses it is incredible. I have no idea where they find it but it s a must taste. Wish I could give more stars fyi byob.. take your fine wine and enjoy

I recently moved to Grapevine and on weekends I always try to find local restaurants. Today, while in the mood for Asian cuisine, I came across this quaint little restaurant and decided to stop by. I decided to order the (C2) Cambodian Stir Fried Flat Noodle w/gravy and it was amazing! I will definitely be back next weekend to explore more menu items.

*edit* 12/17/2021 recently ordered and seems like they have a new chef? They changed the type of noodle used for the Thai as well as the taste. Cant say I can recommend this place anymore, the changes made it far worse. Please at least change the noodles back, these new ones were terrible. Ive been to over 20 different thai restaurants in dallas and have tried over 50 different pad thais around the world and this place has been the BEST hands down ive ever tried (Ive even been to Michelin Star pad thai restaurants in Bangkok, thailand - Thip samai, Jay fais, etc). The meat and seafood is very well seasoned and the taste of the noodles is also amazing. Amazing place! will be ordering as many times as I can.

If you want authentic, go somewhere else (Trinity Street Food is great). I really wanted to like this place because it seemed like a lot of other people liked it. It looks great on first glance. Unfortunately, the taste does not live up to its looks. The pad thai was way too sweet and not balanced at all. It tasted like it was trying to appeal to an American pallette. My boyfriends dish was mostly bland with no spice. Both didnt really have the traditional flavors that are supposed to be present in these dishes. The service was really nice though, very kind employees.

Will come around again soon.

I make it a goal to eat Khmer/Cambodian food when traveling if the place I visit has it, since I m Khmer myself and there are no Khmer places back home. I found this spot by the DFW airport, which was super convenient as we were about to take a flight back home, so I chose here for dinner. I loved the name too - I know it has its own meaning in Thai, but Sabai in Khmer can also mean happy ! It s located in a small strip of stores/restaurants. The restaurant is counter service, you order and pay there and they bring the food to your table when it s ready. There are tables and half booths that line both sides of the walls and TV s that plays a picture slideshow of all the dishes they offer. The water, cups, and to-go boxes are self serve. The menu consisted of Thai, Lao, Cambodian, and Viet dishes - a mixture of Southeast Asian cuisine. I came with 3 of my friends. 3 of us ordered Cambodian dishes and 1 ordered a Thai dish. We ordered: - Taro rolls: Hot, fresh, & crispy. But literally just mashed taro in an egg roll wrapper. - Chicken Lok Lak: It tasted more sweet & was missing that classic lime-pepper flavor that lok lak has. - Stir Fried Flat Noodle w/gravy: This was advertised as Lad Nah which is what they call it in Lao, but it was under the Cambodian menu. We call it Meekathang. Anyway good flavor, but drowned in thin gravy. Some like it that way, but I prefer thick gravy where it s not overpowering the plate. - Sweet & Sour Tofu: Typical sweet and sour taste, no complaints. - Stir Fried Lort Cha (Rice pin noodle): My first time having this dish ever, so I really don t have anything to compare it to. I had it with shrimp. It was good though- great texture. A lot of crunchy elements I enjoyed like onion, green onion, and bean sprouts. I really wanted to try the lemongrass beef skewers as that is a Khmer staple, but they ran out. I saw that they had dried beef strips also, but they ran out as well so that was kinda disappointing. All the food had a good flavor, but it just didn t seem like authentic flavors to me. Nothing was like wow, amazing . Maybe we chose the wrong dishes, but everyone seemed to like it, so I won t knock it until you try it.

First, the food was freshly prepared. I had T6 with soup and taro egg rolls. While the Tum Som soup was fresh and hot Im not a big fan of vinegar in my soup. (I was unaware of my choice - my fault for not asking!) It was a mild taste but not my favorite. The taro egg rolls were good - Ive not had taro before, but Ill get pork next time. Again, hot and fresh! The T6 (stir fried sweet chili with Thai basil) [Pad Prik Pao] was excellent! It was well prepared - vegetables werent undercooked or overcooked. The rice was definitely sticky. And the over easy fried egg was a nice touch. I cleaned my plate! Ill be back!
