This is a wonderful, affordable restaurant with fantastic food. I ordered a pancake platter, and the portion was enough to take part home. The pancakes were soft and had good flavor, and I opted for bacon, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes. The only note I have is I wish the eggs were made with fresh eggs and not the liquid. They have fresh eggs in the restaurant for other preparations, so I am guessing I can ask for this next time. Service was friendly and timely. Parking: Huge strip mall parking lot, so you should never have a problem finding a spot.

This place is fantastic! Food is consistently amazing, atmosphere is great, and staff/service are absolutely top tier. This is definitely a hidden local gem. If there is a wait, its always short. Breakfast is served all hours. And theyll even discount you the bank fees if youre paying cash! This is exactly how a small business should be, and theyll have me coming back, time, and time again!

This was my first and last time to visit. Not sure if today was just an abnormal day for them, but service was incredibly slow. 2 tables in the building, server took 20 minutes to bring water & coffee, food took another 20 minutes (eggs!), and he got my order wrong. I m not surprised the place was empty.

We were seated immediately, but waited quite a while with no service. There were 2 tables being serviced, it wasn t busy. We saw 3 of the wait staff talking amongst themselves while we waited for service. Still no service, we left! The wait staff didn t blink an eye! Now, I m curious - what were they discussing that kept them from waiting on us!

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I had the spinach mushroom bacon cheese omlete, and it was so good !! Also there breakfast potatoes are good. Im not sure what brand of coffee they use ,but it has a very good flavor . Service was great and the atmosphere it was nice and clean. Id definitely eat here again when Im in the area.

The food is always great. A blend of comfort American and Mexican, fused very well. I love their pancakes, breakfast tacos and menudo. The service is great, anytime they have more than one server on the floor. The atmosphere could use some freshening up, to be honest. The clean paint and flooring are starting to look well-used. This morning, I decided to order out. I actually came in late maybe 15 minutes after the estimated finish time. And it appeared that they had not started my order. They said five more minutes. I came back in another 15 minutes and they were still finishing on my order. Nearly an hour from when I placed the order, I got my order. The waitress also seemed very confused about what came with my meal. It should ve been in black-and-white on the delivery application I don t see why I m being asked over and over what comes with my meal when I already placed the order. Way too many people working in there to not have my orders ready at the estimated time. Nobody else came in for an order while I was there. Good tastes good, but the whole experience really messed up my morning and meal.

Went to eat here because was advertised on Instagram. There was a crowd waiting to be seated but I counted 6 tables empty. We gave our name and were told a 15 minute wait. We were finally seated 45 minutes later. Waited 15 minutes at our table to order omelets. It then took another 30 minutes and no food. I asked How much longer before our food is brought to our table. The food was finally brought and was not hot but like warm. I will not return.

I have eaten at Wicho s House 3 different times and each time I have loved the food. Mexican food, the servings are big and the prices are good. The best Mexican restaurant here in Grapevine by far that is only my opinion. You need to try it out for yourself. Breakfast is delicious and today we went for dinner absolutely delicious. I have lived in Grapevine for 35 years and I have tried a lot of Mexican restaurants. Wicho s beats them all. Parking: Parking is easy no problems.

I don t recommend getting take out. My chicken sandwich is okay but I had to fix it up and remove the items I asked to be left off and had to cut it myself. The cheese on my sons grilled cheese sandwich wasn t even melted so then I basically had to cook it for him myself when we got home. Really lovely restaurant with excellent Texmex brunch dishes. Ana knows what shes doing with creating excellent breakfast menu options! The service is very slow, perhaps due to being understaffed. Id love to see this place (1) hire more staff to better service, (2) get a liquor license so they can serve alcohol, and (3) expand to multiple locations throughout DFW [especially closer to Dallas]. Anas recipes rival top Texmex restaurants and are worth everyone tasting them!

After trying some delicious breakfast tacos here, I decided to bring my family of 3 in to dine in for breakfast. $70 later, we were disappointed that no one notifies you they are going to charge $3.10 for every refill of coffee and iced tea. I wish we had known Our service wasnt even great unfortunately. I wondered why we had to keep asking for refills to begin with. I wish I could say this place was great. The food was but the service was lacking as we had to keep looking for our waitress. $70 for a Mexican Breakfast with 2 rounds of coffee and 3 iced tea is ridiculous. The food was NOT good at all. I had a skillet, Monterrey spicy. But it was not spicy but very oily, no flavor, no salt, the ground beef/chorizo was HARD like over cooked meat. If you want to eat to eat sure come. But if you enjoy flavorful meals then avoid. I paid three dollars for coffee not once did anyone come over and ask if I needed a refill. No utensils provided. Spectacular food! We had the combo fajitas, and chips and salsa to start. Literally the best fajitas and salsa, both, that Ive ever had, and Ive had a lot living in Texas lol. Beware - The posted business hours are not correct. It says 7 a.m., but no lights are on, and the door is open at 8:05 a.m.- strange. Myself and two other customers were waiting for someone to greet and serve us. You could hear someone cleaning dishes, so we waited. First time here at Wichos, it is in the shopping center near Golf Galaxy and Perrys Steakhouse. We usually visit Old West but thought to tey a new and local option. Plus to avoid the crowd and get in and out in less than an hour. Wichos showed to have great reviews and the menu and options are great. In fact, their breakfast menu is extensive. The omelette section was large and had great variety. They include two sides so my wife and I went with omlettes. I ordered the Denver Omelette with hashbrowns and pancakes. My wife had the veggie omelette with House potatoes and an english muffin. Kimberly was our server and was friendly and attentive. Both dishes were fresh and tasty. They include a house made salsa as well! They have good coffee as well. We ordered lunch to go as well! theybhave a good selection of TexMex, italian, and American food. We will be back!

A nice little spot for lunch (with my work hours I havent tried their breakfast yet). Friendly young staff in a little space with up-to-date decor. I almost took off a star because the service can be a bit slow even when theres few customers, but their delicious citrus chicken more than makes up for it! A good portion for a good price - somehow its filling without being heavy, with the meat, veg, starch, & spices being in perfect balance. I havent found anywhere else in my vicinity that serves it.

Wichos is a great restaurant which is under looked. Ive been meaning to review for a while. Portion of food is great while others cut back. Tried Wichos House this morning for the first time. We had the chorizo, egg and cheese breakfast tacos, with beans and also without. They were very tasty and priced fairly. The only negative i could mention is that the sauce they gave us was a little wimpy, but we prefer a more spicy sauce. Looking for an alternative to the mediocre and $$$ food at The Gaylord, we caravaned the whole family to Wichors for breakfast and were very happy we did! Everyones dish was excellent. The kids plate portions were very generous. And the service was so friendly. I had the Tex-Mex Skillet but Ill definitely try the Huevos Rancheros next time. Thanks so much for treating our loud and rambunctious kiddos so well!!

Hidden gem in Grapevine. My husband got the quesabirria and he said it was some the best birria hes ever tasted. I got the chilaquiles with a side pancake and it was all delicious. Idk what they do to these pancakes but they have the perfect balance of fluff and sponginess. Our server, Kimberly, was also friendly and attentive. Well def be back!

Perhaps Grapevines best kept secret. Big menu like TGIFridays, decor like Esparzas, generous portions perfectly cooked, excellent service. Lots of seating for groups. We left thinking that we need to return even more often. Breakfast lunch and dinner.

eaten there several times , food and service always five stars. Not the same story on 10 oct. ordered eggs over easy, eggs served with broken yolks and fried hard. offered second serving, declined, brought them anyway, second serving just as bad as the first. didnt eat them. Had to ask for salt and pepper twice before it was brought to the table. Bacon overcooked, setting in its own grease stiff as a picket. Complete lack of pride both in the kitchen and service. Probably wont go back.

The waitstaff are friendly, but dont annoy or hover over you. I had chicken fried steak with eggs. The chicken fried steak is one of the best Ive had. The eggs were fluffy and the potatoes were delicious. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful; no need for salt. The price was reasonable as well. All we could say was that it was so good, and wonder why we havent been there before

Update, their lunch&dinner food is also amazing! Today we tried the smothered burrito and it was fantastic, the rice and beans on the side were delicious and obviously homemade! ----- Ive been here for a weekend breakfast three or four times in the past month and a half, and I LOVE this place. The skillets are where its at, theres a sauce on the side you HAVE to try, its smoky and spicy, but nothing too overpowering. Wish they served mimosas or margaritas or something. :) Service is always impeccable. This is a hidden gem!

Very delicious food, one of the best I ve ever tasted. Lovely service and employees who are dedicated to great customer service. I recommend this restaurant to many people due to its variety of plates, appetizers, and entrees. I would love to come back here more frequently as well. Excellent place to dine in on morning, lunch, and even dinner. Great porción sizes for each customer and including other seasonings that are usually not common in foods. I love to support small local businesses, so went to Wichos for lunch. I had to wait a few minutes to be greeted/seated (after yelling hello toward the kitchen area), but was checked on a couple of times during the meal. The salsa was tasty, and the chips were thin and crispy. Ordered the Smothered Chicken Burrito, which is accurately described as giant. Now I have dinner covered. ;-) It was pretty good; the sweet corn and peppers gave it a fresh taste. When I requested a side of sour cream I liked it even better. Refried beans and rice were standard. I liked the atmosphere and was amused by the eclectic music selection: after a couple of expected Spanish songs, all of a sudden I heard Will Smith singing the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song! It made me smile. Ill definitely be back to try breakfast/brunch. Their menu is extensive, and everything sounds delicious.

I hate to 1 star a new business, but this place was a huge disappointment. Starting with the drinks the service was slow and inattentive. My wife and I had to ask for cream and sugar 3 times, the water was undrinkable, and ruined the coffee as well. My wifes quesadilla lacked flavor, and she never got the sour cream that was supposed to come with the meal despite asking twice. My meal was the Delux Wichos breakfast which is supposed to come with 3 eggs. I asked for over medium and got less than over easy and only 2 eggs. The carne asada was a very thin skirt steak that was cooked too slowly and ended up having a livery over cooked flavor with no char. Second cook on the eggs was better. All in all this was a bad experience. My suggestions to the owner are to filter the water, train the staff more, and remodel the converted bathroom seating area so it doesnt look like a converted bathroom.
