My family and I went this afternoon for lumch the food was way overpriced for the quality our waitress we seen a total of 4 times that was drink order food order brought us our check and the brought back the receipt for me to sign now granted their was 8 of us however no where did it say tip was added however 47 dollars was added to my bill yes I believe in tipping for service which in my opinion it was not the service I would have given 47 dollars I believe I should have been able to leave the tip I wanted instead of them stealing my money and tipping on their overly priced food

For starters, please make sure your host is educated with the position. May be not the best location for the gentleman within the company. We arrived at 1233 stated we would have a party of 6 at 1pm. He asked if we had a reservation, we did not. He stated the wait was 20 minutes. I told him we would like to be added at a 1pm slot. He said ok, we added our phone number and we headed into the mall awaiting our 1pm message. My husband received the message about 1245. We were shocked how fast it was because we wasnt even on the list until 1pm. We made our way to the restaurant with our party at 102pm the host at the next station stated they only hold tables for 10 minutes. It was 102pm our hold time was 100pm. Make it, make sense. Then she told us we would have to wait another 45 minutes. Yes a totally wait of over an hour for a mistake on this establishments end. I asked to speak to a manager I was very upset. I was given an assistant in the gift area. I was so fuming I walked away. My family shopped some more and came back in about 30 minutes to see how much longer. Without us stating anything a manager approached us and asked if we were Dye party of 6, my husband said yes. The manager said follow me, like sheep to the lion we did. Smh. The manager took off into the restaurant down a hallway and disappeared. We looked around for a host and finally was seated. Food was very bland. We had fajitas, brown guacamole, chicken fried chicken and Alfredo with shrimp. We wasnt there for the animatronics but they need so work guys. With todays technology there are better was. My family drove up from Waco just to eat at this restaurant. My daughters wish. It had been years and I dont know if it will be revisited.

Booked my daughter s Birthday Party Here on 9/27/24 and Ashley the Catering manager failed to tell us that the entire party needed to be present before we were able to sit. The Hostess grabbed the manager on duty who argued that Ashley would have communicated this policy although I am well educated and knowledgeable of what was communicated. If we had known that this was a policy we could have informed our party easily. Unfortunately this ruined my experience at this restaurant upon arrival. Next time I suggest being sure that all policies and procedures are communicated to customer clearly to avoid these awkward interactions.

Everything is ok but the server show up after 10 minutes that we were sitting on the table and I have to tell to another employee to see if he can help us letting them know that we were there for more than 10 minutes. All the sudden a manager was passing by and he asked me and he did apologize for the inconvenience and he gave us a Free appetizer he was very friendly and understood that we have childrens and they wanted to eat. Tks for that. Also this place is great for the whole Family. For this time 3 stars but we will came back soon and perhaps I will do 5 stars on service.

Hot, dirty and loud. The host threw 2 menus on a dirty table with someone elses dirty food and dishes on of and just expected us to sit down...if I wanted the experience of being treated like an animal in a barn yard I wouldnt have chosen to eat in one. Avoid if you have any ideas of eating somewhere with the tiniest bit of atmosphere stay away. This is an overpriced glorified daycare for the masses.

We went to celebrate my twins 3rd birthday with a group of nine, consisting of six adults and three kids. We live about an hour away and arrived on time, but two of our guests were a few minutes late. The restaurant refused to seat us until everyone was there. The manager was condescending, stating he would only hold our reservation for ten minutes, or we would lose our table. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed. One of my guests, who uses a wheelchair, was delayed, and they insisted she be present before we could be seated. Our server, Emily, was very nice and did a great job with the birthday song for the girls. However, the food was subpar and overpriced. Honestly, we came primarily for the birthday song, as it makes the kids feel special. Its safe to say we wont be returning.

Visited Rainforest Cafe for a young nieces birthday and the service and atmosphere was average to good, but food a major disappointment. Value for the quality of food was very poor and preparation was uninspiring. Dietary restrictions: My sister is undergoing cancer treatments and having major difficulty with its effects on dietary restrictions and resulting symptoms. Our server was not of much help in providing alternative options to allow for the few things my sister felt she could try. Disappointing.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Clean restaurant. Pleasant and numerous staff. Our server, Julian (I think), was attentive, however, since he was sat with a 12-top & our 4-top so close together, we did have to wait entirely too long for additional chips to eat with our queso which was somewhat congealed by the time additional chips arrived. The food was well presented and tasted good. They went out of their way to accommodate my visiting family that eat vegetarian. My only disappointment was with my mojito that was made with fruit juice... I tasted no lime or mint. Fruit juice is not in a mojito. Normally, I would mention this to my server, but for some reason, I just decided not to mention it, and I drank whatever it was that was served. I regret that now, but it is what it is. [Edit: my receipt charged me for a completely different drink, so, yeah, I should have spoken up in the moment! ] All in all, it is a great eating experience for kids and adults!

My family and I have been going here forever. Came in tonight and we were seated at 5:20 and order within 10 minutes of arriving. Waitress never gave us more water did not stay long to ask if we needed anything. Had to track her down about the menu having elbow noodles in the picture and my toddler hating the penne pasta they had for mac n cheese. While they did take off the mac and make her a new meal for a charge it came after we all finished. My 2 year old had to eat it at home at 7:15 pm. On top of this we waited an hour for our meal. This was our last visit as to us the issue was never fixed.

So much fun! We went Sunday for my youngest sisters 26th birthday lunch and everything was awesome!! Hunter was our Safari Guide waiter and there were 11 of us. He did a great job enthusiastically letting us know the variety of beverage options, including mocktails, as well as menu favorites. Friendly and upbeat, patient with our crazy group, and totally on top of everything! I ordered my burger rare and was pleasantly surprised they got it right! We sat by the aquarium and my granddaughter and nephew loved checking it out! The Volcano birthday cake was also pretty fun and really yummy. Highly recommend Rainforest Cafe Grapevine. Especially if you go on the weekend and ask for HUNTER! Kid-friendliness: The kiddos were also VERY excited about the balloon lady who was also super cool! They got to pick out a balloon animal and the color, which was a really neat (nice too because they dont charge for them, but we of course tipped). If you go on your birthday you gotta get the red velvet chocolate layer cake; its delicious and the presentation is festive and fun! Hopefully youll get Hunter too because he can seriously SING that birthday song!

After some shopping around at the mall, like all families with kiddos, Rainforest Cafe was the obvious choice. Getting on the waitlist was a breeze, wait time was typically normal after the rush. It has gone downhill. The food was edible but not worth the $$. The pasta was overly cooked and mushy. Everything else was cooked, okay, but the flavors were not as good as they used to be. Let me start off by saying we traveled 3 hours just to try out this place ! When we arrive we were greeted , Everyone was polite It took us time to order our food (we needed time to look over menu) The waiter was great at checking in on us at first After we receive our food he asks if everything is ok at that point it is good so we re like yeah we re good Thank you After 5 minutes I need a refill so I wait then 10 minutes I start looking around usually someone notices and ask do you need something Nope after 20 minutes I walk up to a table and notice two employees( Lady long blond hair and gentleman with glasses) talking back and forth so I wait hoping they would see me I stood to where I would be visible and ask if I needed something Nope I was ignored , I finally have to walk up to the hostess and ask If I could have another drink since my waiter treats us like we are non existent! She was polite and was like yes she asked what I was drinking and I guessed she went and told the waiter but like 5 more minutes after that I finally have my drink! I was at the table and my daughter said that the waiter checked on everyone around us but us ..The waiter made some comment about if I knew , I m like if you would have checked . It s not hard to ask or check in on a customer every now and then .. It s not ok to disappear .. It s not ok to be ignored ! Everyone should be a team and work together If a customer needs something help them shouldn t matter if it s your table or not !

Our family had a wonderful experience here. There is no other restaurant immersive experience like this anyway else in our area. Mr. President our safari guide was such a wonderful guide and made us feel like we were part of a journey. He recommended delicious dishes from their special menu for the summer too which we loved. love that they encourage families to walk around and explore all of the animals. Berkeley s warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put us at ease. She was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she made excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Berkeley s friendly and professional service added a personal touch to our dining experience. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied, even taking the time to engage with our children and make them feel special. Her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her job were evident, and it made our visit to the Rainforest Cafe truly memorable. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the Jungle Steak and the Volcano Dessert, both of which were cooked to perfection. The combination of great food, a unique atmosphere, and outstanding service from Berkeley Hand made this one of the best dining experiences we ve had in a long time. If I can give 0 stars I would . My wife and I came with a reservation for two and we have a daughter who is not even a year and a half . This is a place to take children too is it not well we got rejected because we can put our baby on the side of a table for two ? And also let me inform you that my wife wears hijab and niqab so if a table is square and has four sides and we can t put our family of three at one table? That s bullshit we got turned down because of being Muslim and that crazy to me because I grew up at this mall and came here as a kid and this is how u treat Muslim families? You guys turned us away after we had a reservation for two just because we brought our one and a half year old daughter when you could have easily gotten a high chair.we did nothing wrong as my daughter isn t even an actual kid yet. High chairs can be stuck anywhere on the table but go figure you guys had a prejudice little boy working at the reservation table who obviously didn t like the fact we are openly Muslim. Such a disgrace and disappointment considering my husband and I have both came here as kids. Please do better or at least have more clear guidelines in your reservation rules because we just wasted over an hour in gas.

Would give this restaurant a -100 stars if I could. Horribly rude and dismissive managers George and Tim were so bad it brought my wife to tears. They only apologized after I basically had to demand it. Tried to contact the Landrys customer service multiple times over the past 3 weeks and keep getting ignored and hung up on. Worst customer service experience Ive ever had. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know

We had a reservation, it was our daughters 10th birthday with her grandparents, that we have had for at least a month and we checked in 5 mins before, once we got to the entrance they told us we were ten mins late and we couldn t get into another table for 3 and a half hours. Talked to the bartender and they said they couldn t even find our reservation. Yall really need to do business better. Cool you re in the mall but that doesn t mean you give people 10 mins to walk to your place of business that is at least a 10 minute walk due to parking and mall size. Do better.

WORST EXPERIENCE at a restaurant I have ever had! We (party of 8 coming in 4 different vehicles) planned on meeting at Rain Forest Cafe as some of our party were from out of state and it would have been their first time-we have always had great experiences at this location. Upon arrival we were told our entire party had to be present to be seated (the restaurant was practically empty and everyone else was being immediately seated.) This was on a Saturday shortly after they opened and we were not offered a spot on a wait list (the hostess actually barely even looked up) About 20-30 minutes later our entire party arrived and we got in line (I should add 2 of the 8 are Landrys Select Club members) and were then told that we would be added to the wait list and the estimated wait time was an hour. We asked for a manager and attempted to explain what had already transpired, only to be told that he will appease at least a thousand people today but would not be accommodating us in any way. On the way out to pick another restaurant, the hostess was telling non-Landry Club members that the wait time was an hour. Moral of the story-if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of RFC, you have to get past the horrible staff first, and being a club member means absolutely nothing. *UPDATE* I received a nice pre-populated response to my complaint stating that they were actively working on this, and someone will reach out accordingly- that was on the 21st and I have not heard from anyone. DO BETTER, RFC!!

I called ahead and was told I had a certain time I had to have my name on the list by. I was told 7 and they said it was 6:45 when we got there. Drove two hours away it was just my daughter and I, she was balling and crying so hard and the manager was a major jerk and had no sympathy or understanding. Reservation required for basically any time on the weekends. Great for our kiddo. Food was solid, up-selling from the waiter was top notch (got us on a few items, note the ribs in the pic, surprise $10 up charge, respect.) We never felt rushed. Our cocktails were tasty, although one of the lime slices that came with my wifes beer was old, discolored. We were surprised with souvenir glasses as we were leaving. There were a LOT of birthdays, lots of shouting and clapping, but that comes with the territory. Look, its great for kids. Food prices reflect that you are paying for the food AND the experience - both of which were solid. It felt a bit like being on vacation. The food is OK, nothing to write home about and is quite pricey for typical items such as salads (around $20+). For my daughter and I it was more than $50 for lunch and she had a salad and I had an appetizer. You really are paying for the decorations and theatrical experience. Party of 4- Arrived 9pm for Thursday dinner, waited over an hour for entrees to arrive/food inedible. Ordered Bourbon Salmon on rice, rice was extremely overcooked to the point it resembled plastic. Chef replaced white (plastic) rice with the dirty rice & black beans that had such a bland flavor. Lacked seasoning & mushy. For a $32 entree, i was extremely dissapointed & appalled that the chef would allow the plate to be served. Because we waited so long for our food to arrive, the quality of service & inedible food- i would say this experience was one that soured Rainforest Cafe for my entire party for several decades, as we unanimously agreed upon exit.
