Get the spicy garlic edamame. They re not really spicy, but they have so much flavor! I usually find jalapeño poppers are pretty rich, but these were so light and delicately fried. We re obsessed! Lots of sushi options, just depends on your preference. Service was also really good, if it wasn t for our server we wouldn t have tried the spicy edamame or poppers.

Modern, lively vibe with a long panel of cheerful sushi chefs and nice waitresses staff with prompt service on a Wednesday evening. Best beef stir fry. we ve ever had- not usual sticky sauce from a jar-tender with good flavor and al dente flat rice noodles, though you might ask for more vegetables with it.

Always wanted to try this place and finally went with a friend for lunch. The food was great, and the atmosphere is quaint and would be nice for a date night or girls night out. Service was a bit slow during lunch but tolerable. We both had a glass of wine with our lunch, and it was a perfect pairing chardonnay. Definitely would love to go back and get the Rolls Royce roll that my friend had. Parking: Parking can be limited if they are very busy.

We are not from Grapevine but were in the area and decided to stop in for dinner. We didn t have reservations but they were quick to accommodate us even though the place was packed. It was kind of loud but that was expected. The food was excellent and the service was even better. We had the shrimp & pork egg rolls, crab rangoons, orange chicken with fried rice, Roman Roll and the Tuna Tower. Very happy with our choice and this place did not disappoint at all!

We had an unforgettable dining experience, thanks to Francisco, who was the best waiter we have ever had. We arrived for our 7:45 reservation and were informed that the kitchen was running behind. Despite this, Francisco made our evening truly special. We had a toddler with us who was disappointed to find out the restaurant was out of lemonade. Francisco went above and beyond by returning with a glass of freshly made lemonade just for her. Throughout the evening, he consistently checked on us, ensuring that our needs were met and making us feel incredibly valued. Francisco s attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile, and warm demeanor made our night exceptional. Thank you, Francisco, for your amazing service! Keep up the great work!

Worst experience ever at any restaurant. Waited for over an hour for a to go order (only 2 sushi rolls) and was then told they had no idea when it would be ready as they had yet to start preparing my order. Others around me had also been waiting over an hour. The one man of the group of people waiting was at least offered something to drink when he complained. The host and the manager, Andrew, seemed totally indifferent to the situation. I never got any food. This was my first time to try this restaurant...and my last.

Did not have a good experience at this location. It was terrible, actually. It was wildly noisy, which we were willing to look past for good sushi (which we did not get). It then took 20 minutes to receive a singular miso soup and another 30 minutes for our waitress to realize she hadn t put our ticket in, which she eventually did only after we asked her to check. Our waitress seemed to avoid us like the plague and was not apologetic whatsoever about the wait. At a certain point, we were cursing the fact we didn t have a five dollar bill to put down on the table so we could leave. We then received one of the rolls we ordered, the poke roll. It was fine. Not good enough make up for the horrible service. We asked for the check early and left without 75% of what we ordered. One roll was comped, the spider roll, but it tasted like the crab had gone bad. Overall, a complete waste of an hour and a half of my life. I will never return here. I encourage anyone reading this to turn back now.

In Japanese Oi-shii translates to tasty or delicious . Sadly our lunch experience was neither. Disappointed with the sushi lunch coming with 5 small nigiri sushi and an average bland California roll. No salad, no sashimi, no gyoza. The actual Japanese restaurant down the road is significantly better. On top of this, there is hardly any Japanese food on the menu. This is much more Asian than Japanese. Would not recommend.

Arrived at 12:15 left at 1:45 not because of a good time, but because we were not served our food. We waited about 45 minutes for our rolls, with our glasses empty. Meanwhile 4 tables around us were seated after us, were served and left before we even got our food. I brought it to the attention to the staff, they said kitchen was backed up. It was only backed up for us though, because everyone else ate and left. I frequently visit the Wycliff location and will definitely continue to go there but NEVER AGAIN to the one in Grapevine.

Would give 10 stars if possible. Went there last week for our anniversary dinner - from the time we walked through the door, the service was incredible. Our server was fantastic, she gave us so many recommendations on drinks, sushi rolls, and dessert options. The manager brought over the first plate of sushi we ordered and checked in to see how everything was, which of course was great. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and the staff even made a handwritten note wishing my wife and I a happy anniversary. We have always been a fan of Oishii Sushi, but will definitely be returning to this location every chance we get.

Got a lot of sashimi which was a mistake. The Nigiri wasn t something to ring home about either. We got two rolls, the main street roll and DOA roll. My spice fanaticism made me gravitate towards DOA, however, having had it now, I definitely wouldn t have it again. The roll lacked texture and depth. Main Street on the other hand: fantastic. Would have it again. If this was my first time having raw sushi, specifically sashimi/nigiri, It would undeniably be my last. I d focus on getting other items here. What I d recommend: - Beef tataki(Appetizer) - Main Street roll Here s what we got: Sashimi: - Flounder - Mackerel - Yellowtail - usually our favorite, but even this didn t live up to our expectations. Nigiri: - Escolar - Tuna Albacore Rolls: - DOA - Main Street Appetizers: - Salmon Carpaccio - Beef Tataki - pretty good Our server was kind. Unfortunately, he didn t know much about which sushi was which, so he had to get another server to help identify each piece of fish. Ambience: The place was packed because Tuesday happens to be half priced wine day. Price: our bill was around $155. Pretty steep, given we didn t enjoy a majority of the items we ordered.

Hard no for me. We ve been trying out all the sushi in the area since we just moved. This is decent if youre a new to sushi person or have never had quality but I prefer my sushi to come from chefs that have strict training and the cuts to be better. Everything was mush, presentation poor. I do recommend them for stir-fry/asian grill dishes. So far, Hatsuyuki and Nikko are the only places on this side of the airport that are working for me. I NEED more options.

First timers at Oishi on April 11th Server Mackenzie was very polite, energetic, and walked us thru all the menu options. Atmosphere was nice - very clean and brand new. Lots of pre-bussers walking the floor and clearing plates. We ordered the 44 Roll, California Roll, Calamari, and Tuna sashimi & Salmon sushi 44 Roll (pictured) was good, California roll was standard as with most places. Beyond that, food was very disappointing Calamari did not appear to be breaded in house ( highly suspect frozen breaded). it was thick dense breading and not very good flavor (in background of photo of 44 roll) Ordered 7 pieces of sushi/sashimi - 5 tuna and 2 salmon. These were delivered last of the items we ordered. The tuna was not good, rubbery. Of the 7 pieces we ordered, 4 went back with the pre-busser to the trash can because we did not want to eat them. Prebusser even looked a little surprised when we told her she could take the plate and didn t ask for a doggy bag. When Mackenzie came by after food had all been bussed, she asked how our food was and we shared our disappointment with the sushi quality. She said she informed a manager, and that the owner was there on this night, but neither must have felt it was worthy of a visit to our table. We paid our check (with standard 20% gratuity because Mackenzie was not at fault) but would not recommend/return.

I got the crab rangoons, salmon nigiri, and the sizzling beef entree. The sauce for the rangoons was really weird, way too sweet? The fried rangoons were very crunchy and crispy. The salmon nigiri was excellent for the price. Very fresh tasting. The sizzling beef was disappointing. It said it came with baby corn but didn t. The beef tasted like Salisbury steak? Not very good, too salty. Food wasn t great but the service was excellent. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Probably won t come back though. Thank you!

My recent dining experience at Oishii Sushi & Pan-Asian in Grapevine left me with mixed feelings, especially considering the significant bill of over $200. Starting with the positives, the restaurants ambiance was delightful. The décor was modern yet cozy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a special evening out. The service was also attentive and friendly, with staff members knowledgeable about the menu and quick to assist with any requests. Now, onto the food. The sushi selection was fresh and well-presented, showcasing the chefs skill and attention to detail. The Pan-Asian dishes, however, were a bit hit or miss. Some dishes, like the Pad Thai and Mongolian Beef, were flavorful and satisfying, while others fell short of expectations in terms of taste and portion size considering the price point. One notable drawback was the pacing of the meal. There were noticeable delays between courses, which disrupted the flow of the dining experience, especially considering the restaurants reputation and pricing. In conclusion, while Oishii Sushi & Pan-Asian in Grapevine offers a pleasant ambiance, attentive service, and some delicious dishes, the overall experience did not quite justify the hefty bill of over $200. With a few improvements in consistency and pacing, this restaurant could elevate its dining experience to match its pricing.

Holy moly! I was traveling and picked this place at random because the name was hilarious. Well, here s a fun fact - Oishii means delicious in Japanese and that doesn t even come close to the cuisine. The place was lit on a Friday night and the chefs were fastidiously crafting the sushi rolls at the bar. This joint has it all - sushi, poke, pho, Chinese and Vietnamese and a stellar wine list/cocktails to boot. The pan seared dumplings were delicate and savory. The Buddha veggies with fried tofu and vermicelli noodles melted in my mouth. Are you salivating yet? Hold your saliva because the Himalayan roll was the main event. This beauty was too pretty to eat and was served on an ice cold pink Himalayan salt block big enough for playing frisbee, except that it was square. Who am I kidding? Pretty or not, this roll slid down like an oyster on a hot summer day. In all fairness, the Main Street roll was a close contender, with that spicy little kick at the end. Date night ambience-check. Huge menu-check. Excellent service - check. Casual night with your friends - check. Vegetarian options: Lots of different options

I m not sure how to describe it. I ordered the Royce Roll. This came with a slice of lemon with its rind on top. When I ate the first piece the lemon was the dominating flavor. So, on the next piece I removed the lemon slice. However, doing so didn t change the flavor. This was like eating a lemon candy with a subtle sushi flavor. Then there was the kung-pao shrimp. The vegetables and nuts weren t warmed through at all. The baby corn was hard, the nuts were as if a can of Planters had be opened and dumped direction from the can. What I can say that is positive is the digestive tract was cleaned from the shrimp. Though I m not sure if this was done in house or by the manufacturer they bought it from. I left without finishing and went to Brahms.

Highly overrated our waitress started with a long speech that was unnecessarily long then when we asked for a minute we didn t see her for another 8. Food was not the best orange chicken was mushy and rolls weren t advertised as they should. Bar cooks were really nice though.

Honestly I don t really understand how the food can be at this cost and not good at all it was about the same as Kroger sushi, the waitress seemed very inexperienced, the atmosphere wasn t bad at all but the food and service really ruined it. The chicken potstickers were good though and the sauce for it was also pretty good

I came here for the first time on New Year s Eve and it won t be my last! The ambience of the restaurant exceeds expectations and I was surprised to find out that they just opened three months ago! I sat at the bar and was taken care of by Kim who was amazing and gave great recommendations! I had the shrimp fried rice and the london roll which I highly recommend! Another server Franny brought me a green sauce to pair with my dish and it was the perfect combination! I highly encourage to try out this restaurant and ask for kim!

Horrible experience. Sat at the bar at 8:40. Ordered 4 rolls that took an hour to be served. One roll came not as bartender described. Another roll was over fried. Only 2 options for a glass of wine. They are both over 18 dollars. The sushi was just ok. Overall we were there for an hour and 20 minutes just for this. Over hyped

Huge fan of Oishii in Plano, been there many times. Just came back from lunch at this new Grapevine location and I must say it was very disappointing! Everything we ordered tasted worse than the previous item. We got spicy edamame and calamari for appetizers and they were the best thing we got. We ordered 3 different rolls (43, cowboy, and london) and beef noodles and each roll was worse than the next. The cowboys roll and beef noodles were sent back because they werent even edible. The only good thing was they didnt charge us for the the 2 disgusting entrees we got and then we swapped the noodles out for shaken beef which was super bland, just felt as though they tossed some soy sauce on it and then served it. Very disappointing experience overall. Very unlikely to return to this location!

This place is great. Highly recommend. May want to call in advance though to see if the whistling act is performing. If you re like me, the nonstop very loud whistling coming from the Busboy will make you think about asking the waiter to bring you knife to gouge your ears out. Seriously, talk about making the 7 Dwarves Whistle while you work a personal motto! Wrecking ball from Miley Cyrus? Here s some REALLY loud whistling that will make the song hard to hear. It will have you wishing you had a wrecking ball to smash your head in. Gotye s Someone that I used to know? Here s some Extremely loud whistling that will have you glad that you don t know him. For real.. talk about a disruptive noise to detract from an otherwise nice atmosphere. Management may want to have a chat with him about it. Seriously. Every damn song Very damn loud Guy needs to consider a career as a train whistle maybe.

The food is incredible, the service has been great! The restaurant is gorgeous! However, the whistling bus boy has got to go! I docked 3 stars off of atmosphere due to this! He walks around to takes the plates away and whistles while doing so - very loudly! It is making my eye twitch!

Was super excited to try Oishii and when the Grapevine location opened that made it super easy. Only been open about a week and a half when we visited, but excellent experience even as a new location. The food was amazing! We tried quite a few of the spicier rolls. Our server, Sarah was amazing and mentioned Oishii was known for no rice rolls, so we went with the Poke Roll and were not disappointed. It was as delicious as it was beautiful l. The shrimp and pork dumplings were SO GREAT! Cocktails were just ok and they were out of a few things in the bar. There was a lot of kitchen noise where we were seated (in front of the sushi bar). There was music playing but you could not hear it where we were sitting which would have helped with the noise. These slight misses did not overshadow the food and service, and expect some things to get worked out with a little time. Cannot wait to visit again.

I am a huge fan of all the Oishii locations! They are consistent in quality of sushi and service! Best Sushi in the Grapevine/Southlake area! I recommend any of their specialty rolls, unfiltered sake, & sapporo! The Tahn scallop roll, 42 roll, royce roll, seared flounder, & tribeca roll are my go tos. Kid-friendliness: They have many dishes besides sushi for the kids.

Decided to try this place or the first time Nice surprise after previous visit when it was Lava10 Warm and hospitable personnel and decent menu offerings We ordered Miso soup. Poke bowl. Crispy tofu. Beef flat noodles (asked for light on the salt and that was nicely accommodated- a bit less oil would have been perfect). Poke bowl had an appealing presentation (the actual food items). The ice bowl was not really needed as the poke and marinade were well flavored and appealing by itself Crispy tofu was a quite enjoyable . Crispy outside. Soft inside. Miso soup was well balanced with broth and tofu
