I will start off with the good. The facility was very nice. All the sets were great. The staff was super friendly. I took my son for his yearbook and cap/gown session only over this past weekend. I planned on scheduling a full senior session in a few months, but that will not be happening. My son plays football and was unable to attend the sessions at the school so I used the Cady website to schedule a session at the studio on a Sunday that would work best for our family. When checking out I was offered to prepay for 5 digital downloads from our session photos that day. The cost was $70 plus tax vs if I waited wouldve been $100 plus tax. No one explained that only the yearbook photo would be included in that. I received a link later that week for my digital downloads and to my surprise only 5 poses of the same yearbook photo were available for download. I called customer service regarding my issue. The young man took down all my info and apologized for the miscommunication, but he could not refund my money or transfer my 5 digital download package to the cap and gown photos. I asked to speak to a manager and he stated he would have to have once call me back. I spoke with Ty on 09/25/2024 who apologized for the miscommunication and stated that when I signed up for the session that it was in the terms and conditions that only my yearbook photos would be included. She refused to refund my money or transfer my 5 digital downloads to the cap and gown photos that will be released in the spring. I advised her that I did not purchase the prepaid digital package online so the terms and conditions pertaining to that package was not given to me. I purchased my package in the studio and no one ever explained it to me. The only compensation she could offer was a $25 credit towards my account for cap and gown photos when they are released. I am pretty sure I am not the only person this has happened to with Cady Studios. If you ask me its a scam and they are trying to get over on whoever falls for it. Why would I pay $70 for a yearbook photo? Like seriously. I am a single mother of two teens and finances are always tight. I struggle to make ends meet sometimes. This was definitely not the experience I expected from such an established studio. They definitely do not have great customer service/care either. That is what is wrong with the big companies. They are greedy and do not care about their customers/clients. I will definitely be taking my hard earned money to a free lance photographer for my sons senior photos as well as my freshman sons when the time comes. Thanks Cady Studios for your poor service! Also do not be fooled by all the positive reviews. They offered my son a change to be entered into a drawing for putting a good review!

Nice vibes, and very organized. There were plenty of options for photos and you had the option to retake as many times as you needed. Some fun photos were also allowed even for cap and gown photos. The staff were cool and made the experience way less stressful. Was a nice time for photos.

All of the staff was great EXCEPT for one!!! The one employee that took my son s photos was not very welcoming or good at instructions and making my son feel comfortable. They didn t speak clearly or make the experience exciting. I had to step in in some instances and adjust wardrobe and encourage my son to smile. Now the man who did my daughter s photos was great! He was enthusiastic, paid attention to detail and made the experience fun for her.

2024 Update They in fact do offer a giveaway in exchange for a 5-star review so please take these for what they are worth. This company remains horrible in their second year working with our school. We have students who were photographed on picture day and the studio can not seem to find and match their photos to the parent accounts. These were for parents who paid in advance for the photos. Their customer service is terrible. Open help support tickets are going unanswered. We have had situations where the freshman students attending orientation, an already stressful day, were photographed wearing their name tags visible in their photo and when a parent reached out to inquire she was told it s not the photographer s responsibility to dress the kids absolutely ridiculous. The photographer couldn t take 1 second to say please remove your name tag just wow. For the parents who are trying to order without an email or text prompt from the studio, our school is not even listed as a drop down item on the school search bar so you can order pictures. August 2023 WOW CADY! 167 5 Star Google Reviews in a week? Most companies do not even get 167 5 Star Reviews in a lifetime and here you are getting them all in one week. What did you give away to generate those reviews? Absolutely the worst photo company we have dealt with during our 11 years in our school district. Man, do I miss LifeTouch. Picture day was a organizational disaster. CADY Studios website says they can photograph 3,000 students in 90 minutes. False. First thing on the morning of picture day, they called last names A, B, and Senior Out to the photography area only to be overwhelmed with the number of students, so they sent a number of them back to class without their pictures being taken. These students were never called back to the photography area, so my student took it upon himself towards the end of his school day to venture back to the area and before could even sit down and smile, the photographer snapped the pic and sent him on his way again. So, thanks for the ridiculously overpriced mugshot of my student there CADY Studios. I thought the prices were bad before picture day. Did I mention how expensive these pictures are? Its not like we are using and developing film anymore. These are undergraduates, not Seniors. I have several friends with photos that either mimic the CADY Studios Mugshot or RBF. Hey CADY - Tell the photographer to calm down and give these kids time to SMILE! We can take take 3,000 photos in 90 minutes because we do not give you time to smile. There is absolutely no way we are messing around with retakes. It is not worth dealing with these folks a second time. Simply hoping our school makes a better decision for next year.
