We went for a late lunch and started with the Brussels sprouts. They were good but lacked flavor. For the entrée, I had the lasagna with a side salad, and my husband ordered the Italian sandwich with homemade chips. Unfortunately, they were out of chips, so they substituted them with French onion soup. Both dishes were tasty and delicious. The server was superb. Im giving it a four star due to the Brussels lacking flavor.

Spent 150$ in here expecting a nice family meal. When, this is going to sound like a joke but I swear it s not, a full grown woman got up from her table with no pants or undergarments. Walked right past my table and many others with children, and nothing was done. The servers just took her to the back, dressed her, and told her to have a good night. No cops were called?

Saturdays and Sundays they have live music! We had the caprese salad to share, the carbonara and the pesto salmon for mains. Everything was delicious and large portions. We also had some gelato and the lemon cake of which we would both recommend. Service is cordial even on a busy evening and quick to assist with any questions you have regarding the menu and recommendations. Will be back!

The bigger ice cream cup has three scoops to fill it. However, they do not allow the customer to have three flavors. Abiding by rules like this when there was no one in line tarnished a good experience.

The food was good but not great. The wine selection was extensive and offered something for all tastes. Service was great, the front of the house really accommodating of our large group as a walk-in. Overall, it is a nice Italian option on a strip of bars/restaurants.

We came in from out of town and didnt know where to eat. We ended up on main st and went to Napolis. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because of the lack of room between the bar and the chairs where people were sitting. The food was amazing! Hands down some of the best Italian food I ever had. The service...this man was ridiculous. Yes he knew the specials but this man was everywhere. He knocked over a water pitcher. He wanted to have conversations with the other wait staff about drama. He forgot our appetizers. He didnt get us refills on our drinks, he never checked to see if we were doing ok after we received our meal. The next time we saw him he asked if we wanted to go boxes. Great spot to eat, just beware of the wild man.

Love the location and ambiance of the restaurant. Parking on the street and in the restaurant lot was nice and convenient. Peak hours may leave parking a bit more difficult. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff is all courteous and knowledgable. We tried the calamari steak for the first time. It was a little over cooked, but favor was great and fantastic presentation. The lasagna was fantastic. The blackened salmon was tasty. The fettuccine alfredo left a bit to be desired. The alfredo sauce was rather watery and blandto taste. The affogado was a hit with some of the best gelato around! Both vanilla and Coffee flavors were a delight. Reasonably priced and great portions. Highly recommend despite a few misses. Will certainly return and would recommend for lunch or dinner when in the area. Dont forget to check out their custom market shop too!

I bought a latte and asked if my daughter could use the restroom, since she is little and urgently needed to go. The barista told me there was no restroom and sent me across the street where the restroom was locked. Several minutes later my husband calls me and apparently right on the other side inside of Napolis there is a public restroom. That is a sick thing to do a child, not to mention I was a paying customer.

I typically like this place for desserts, which are very good. Tonight I decided to try pizza by the slice. The first three toppings are included. I asked for triple pepperoni.. I specifically said I like a lot of pepperoni! Very disappointed to receive the slice w very few pepperoni- like a one topping pizza. I provided feedback to an unapologetic staff. Noted. Sauced across at Northwest Highway will continue to be my go to pizza place. Excellent and always crowded for a good reason.

This pasta was the best gluten free (non-pea/legume protein) pasta Ive had so far (in my 1.5 years of being GF). I alerted the waiter to my severe gluten allergy (Im actually asymptomatic Celiac), and asked the waiter what sauces and dishes did not have flour in them. He went back to ask the chef, and the chef said that they could do any sauce GF, and would even prepare it all fresh and separately for me! I also stressed to use a fresh pot of water to boil the noodles in. I was so impressed, we ran over to the attached market/store (of the same name) to buy several bags of the dried GF pasta to take home. They close at 9pm, and it was 8:55pm... I believe these GF noodles are all the way from Italy, but need to look at the package, again. The market even has some safe Italian ices that were also fantastic! I will definitely be returning here when Im in town. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free

*DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS DURING A FESTIVAL OR GRAPEFEST* I made reservations more than 2 weeks in advance and had NO idea that a festival was happening. When we arrived to walk to Napolis we were forced to pay an entry free of about $10 a person TO WALK TO THE RESTAURANT that we had a reservation to. When making the reservation I was NEVER told that I would have to pay a fee to walk to their restaurant. We then called the restaurant after being told we had to pay to walk there, Napolis had ZERO customer service and pretty much told us if we wanted to eat there we would have to pay the fee to get into the festival and walk to their restaurant. The customer service was absolutely lacking that they didn t even offer a resolution to this issue when I was never told I would have to pay a fee to come to their restaurant. This reservation was also for my birthday so then we were forced to find a different place for my birthday dinner, very quickly. Big shout out to Macs of Main for taking us in and giving us FANTASTIC customer service unlike Napolis! I will not bother to recommend or eat at Napolis from here on out. Very disappointed in their LACK of customer service.

Few months ago the girls and I had lunch here and it was very good. I told my husband how good was our experience at Napolis. We made reservation for brunch on Mother s Day. Brunch was very good and also ordered the frozen peach Bellini and sangria. He charged us $11 on each drink instead of $5. I asked the waiter, he said that must be on the old menu, took $6 off the Bellini but said the sangria was some old brand they used before but not now the picture I snap from the brunch menu on their website, it must not be that old because I looked it up that same evening and here it is .just beware before you order and double check your ticket. I don t mind paying for good food and service. There is no need for the deceptive tactic. Therefore the 1 .

The server was polite but he was not customer oriented. The other server who brought my dish she was sweet and nice. Apparently you can get take out but only 2 items such as pizzas and sandwiches but if you want pasta or anything else you have to dine in which I find ridiculous. But hey I don t make the rules. I want to preface this by saying my wife and I have been long time customers of this establishment. We ve always loved the food and the atmosphere. Now that that s out of the way, after the experience we had tonight, we will no longer be giving this place our business. We had a friend come into town and his son is a 5 year old, non verbal, autistic child. Unfortunately when he s overwhelmed, he can get a little loud. We were able to manage to keep him calm, despite random bouts of irritability. Coming to the close of our time, the manager on shift approached our table to let us know we needed to keep the child quiet because she was receiving complaints about his yelling . Apparently she was on complaint number 3 before she decided to approach us, and instead of speaking to the parent, she felt the need to address the entire table, and seemingly was loud enough to address the restaurant. This situation was uncomfortable, it was embarrassing, and completely unprofessional. Had we been approached in private, I wouldn t have felt the need to be this upset, but the manner in which we were approached was completely uncalled for. No parent should ever feel worried about being able to bring their child into public, with the fear that their child will not be accepted. Ever. If you are a parent in this situation. Steer clear.

What a wonderful time our group of four couples had here at Napolis Italian Kitchen in Grapevine in March 2024. The food, right from appetizers of bruschetta, garlic bread, fried brussel sprouts and spinach/artichoke dip absolutely pleased everyone of us! I followed up with the Chianti Braised Short Rib which was out of this world .. sooooo tender, juicy and so tasty! Several got different versions of the Parmigiano and were raving how good they all were. A couple of others got the Milanese and Im thinking they are still going on about how good they were lol! And two had to get their fav,... lasagna. #loveit Our cocktails were delish and their wine selection, very satisfactory. Only one thing left, and thatll be to come back, and this time, keep room for dessert! Thank you everyone at Napolis!

Im not that big a fan of Italian. The garlic cheese bread appetizer was decent, but I thought the marinara was a little plain. I thought the artichoke spinach dip was way too runny. I had a shrimp on polenta with a lemon sauce. The shrimp were well cooked. I thought the polenta was a little boring, but I think maybe thats just polenta. My daughters dish was good, although I dont know exactly what she had. It was salmon with pasta. She did comment that she thought it was supposed to be blackened, but it did not appear to be. My son on the other hand was unimpressed. For me, the best part was the atmosphere. Its a cozy place. Itd be a great place to take a date (if I ever had one of those). Id go back to try something else. I do recommend for a date night. Oh, and the beer selection wasnt great. I guess wine is more de rigueur for an Italian restaurant. Again, Id recommend for a date night.

We recently dined at Napolis Italian Kitchen & Market, and I have to say that while the service was great and the food arrived quickly, I was quite disappointed with the overall dining experience. We started with the Tomato Basil soup, which looked promising but unfortunately fell short in terms of taste. The soup was incredibly salty, and I couldnt help but wonder if thats the intended flavor. On a chilly winter night, I was really looking forward to a hot and comforting bowl of soup, but what I received was a warm and overly salty concoction. Next, we ordered the Bruschetta, and it left me bewildered by its heavy garlic flavor. It felt like it was designed to ward off vampires rather than provide a balanced and enjoyable appetizer. This was surprising to me as Ive had Bruschetta at other fine dining establishments with a much more balanced and delicious taste. We had originally planned to order both the Margarita pizza and Fettuccine Alfredo, but after the disappointing start, we decided to take a chance and ordered only the pizza. I must say, the pizza was the saving grace of the entire meal. It was flavorful and well-prepared, and we genuinely enjoyed it. However, despite the redeeming pizza, the overall dining experience wasnt up to par, especially considering it was New Years Eve. Unfortunately, I dont think Ill be returning to Napolis Italian Kitchen & Market. Im somewhat puzzled by the high ratings it has received, given our less-than-stellar experience on this occasion. Vegetarian options: You can substitute and change the dish to suit your need.

Very bad impression of the place due to waiter. We did not get to order; that s how upset we were. 1st time in this restaurant no 2nd chances. Save yourself the agony and go somewhere else. With all negative reviews this place gets; someone should report this business to the county s Chamber of Commerce as it gives a great city a bad reputation on restaurants. Perhaps an inspection by the Texas Licensing division would be in order to check overall compliance to include how many employees are actually on w-2 wages.

For the last 5+yrs we have made coming to Napolis a holiday tradition, and every single time its been Amazing. We do come during Christmas time so we expect the long wait and we are ok with it. Well today we waited 1hr+ ok no big deal. We finally get seated and both hostess are great considering the amount of people they had. Well we get seated and then our waiter comes takes our drink order ,brings our drinks then asked if we are ready I turn to him smile and say we need more time, he seems a little annoyed and I see he wants to get back to his bigtop next to us so he leaves he finally makes his round to us and ask if we are ready I say yes and place our order to which I felt rushed but ok so he tells us someone will bring our food out ok..fine Im trying not to take in offense his dismissive tone. We finally get our food I needed cheese for my spaghetti that I never got I sat there patiently but he kept his attention to the bigtop and his 2 top behind us. At this point is clear that he isnt interested on waiting on us for context I was sitting there with my 2 kids Hisp female. I dont know maybe he thought why bother maybe the tip wont be good. I honestly didnt eat my food I asked for a box to go and my check. Ive never felt so ignored to say the least. We usually order dessert and hot chocolate but not this time I just couldnt wait to leave. As soon as my daughter was done I got up and left the table my son stayed to finish paying and maybe he thought he wasnt gonna get a tip from us but we still tipped 30%. Wouldve been if he Wouldve treated us with the same attentiveness he was his other tables. I WAS LIVID!! But I wasnt going to make a scene and ruin a nice night out with my kids. Next time we will consider another restaurant except for Napolis my kids love their Lasagna but its not worth the disrespect I felt.

Extremely mid restaurant for higher-end prices. Also, my dad got an allergic reaction to the bread & the waiter gave us the wrong check AND if you re a party of 6, a gratuity of 20% is automatically added even if the service is absolutely scrambled and sux

We were seated immediately and able to choose a table outside with shade. Delicious cocktails, apps and meals. The focaccia bread was amazing! Stopped into the shop next door for dessert and my grinch cupcake was a perfect red velvet. Met the doggie owner of the shop and she was as lovely as everyone else that made our lunch excellent. Will definitely come back next time we re in town.

The line was out the door and the place had great reviews. We were told a 15 minute wait and ended up waiting 45 minutes. The garlic bread appetizer was amazing!! The entrees were good but nothing to rave about. The waiter was nice and they were accommodating for my friend who was a vegetarian.

Fri 620pm. Female server behind takeout counter not covering nose with mask. Mouth only does not cut it. This is against state mandate. Why is this happening? Sun 520pm. Female server behind takeout counter not covering nose with mask. Its sad and unacceptable that you are allowing this Fri 514pm. Majority of staff not wearing masks. This violates agreements with many third party delivery partners and will be reported. Please remove me from your Grubhub delivery driver platform. The only positive thing i will say is the waitress was very good and apologized for how our party was treated. They would not allow an elderly woman use the restroom because they were not seated with us yet? Had to walk across the street and use the RR! Did not seat our party together. This was appalling! Will never set foot in there ever again! Do not go and support such unprofessional people and management! In fact I think a call to the discrimination office is a good idea! This doesnt deserve one star. Should have a black hole option!

There were six of us. Two of us got lasagna, and both came out with warm sauce but cold lasagna. I ordered pizza and it came out incredibly soggy, I couldn t even pick it up without it falling apart and while the taste wasn t bad the texture was just gross. I ate two slices and left the rest. Another person got gluten free pizza, and while it wasn t soggy it definitely was contaminated because she was sick afterwards. She has celiac disease. The last person in our group got the supreme and his only comment was that it did not taste supreme. Great service, bad food.

Cute little market and shop on a down town mainstreet type area. Chicken parm sub was pretty good and the other half said the French toast was good as well. It would be nice if the market and shop were connected but its a trifle complaint. (Inspired by it raining at the time) Parking: Typical down town spot so parking can be a pain. However, we only had to park a block down and walk.

This is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in DFW. The mussels are so big, meaty and the sauce they come in is phenomenal. I can make a mean chicken picatta at home and theirs definitely holds a candle to mine! Their homemade bread is the absolute best for dipping in any of of their incredible homemade sauces. Sitting outside is such a nice place to eat but indoor seating looks homey and inviting as well.

We had date night in this cozy clean restaurant. We were referred by friends. The food was spectacular and well prepared. The service was good and welcoming. The parking was easy to find. The meatballs were very old school italian. The short braised ribs were slow cooked and tender. They were the best I have had a few years. The drinks aka italian sangria, are worth the price. We will be back.

Stopped in for lunch while in the area. I enjoyed the blackened Salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes. The Salmon was fresh and cooked to perfection. My partner ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken but unfortunately it didn t taste as fresh. We also ordered the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese added on top. That was a great appetizer to start with. I thought their selection of music was a bit off considering it s an Italian restaurant.

We didnt feel welcomed in this place. We walked into the restaurant area and immediately got directed to the bar section because we werent going to eat. As we were about to sit down at a two-seater table, the female server asked if we needed a menu, and we replied that we werent going to eat, so she asked us to sit at the bar. Thereafter, we had a drink at the bar called a watermelon martini. It was very delicious, but not exactly sure it was worth $13. The bartender, named Clay, checked on us a couple of times but wasnt very sociable. I mean, most bartenders have conversations with the customers....at least from my decades of experience!

We went Saturday and Sunday during Grapefest. The food was good and the decor was decent. It looked like an authentic Italian Kitchen style restaurant. Had a nice time on Saturday. We went there during Brunch and they had $5.00 Brunch specials on select Wines and Drinks, Brunch was from 11a to 2 pm. Sangria was one of them and they were good. So we had 3 drinks. One Sangria and 2 Rose with our meal. Total drink cost $15.00 We decided to go back on Sunday. Got there around Noon. Ordered our meal and we had a total of 3 drinks, all Sangrias. When the bill came, we were charged $11/Sangria. I asked the waiter what happened to the $5.00 Brunch Specials. I just so happened to have my receipt from Sat and showed him. The waiter left and returned to say that their management sent out a memo Sat evening informing them that the Sangrias were not part of the Brunch Specials only the select red and white wines. He apologized but did not adjust the bill. So if you are reading this, let the buyer beware that this place will upcharge you, without your knowledge. I will never return. But had a blast at Grapefest otherwise.

A great Italian restaraunt! The food is outstanding, made from fresh ingredients. The staff is superb! They are professional, yet friendly, very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. The lobster ravioli is superb as is the supreme pizza they offer. The bruschetta was a great appetizer. A nice selection of wines and other adult beverages compliments the food perfectly. A great place to eat, relax, or just have a drink while out shopping or sightseeing! I heartily recommend it!

Napolis Italian Kitchen will never disappoint. The appetizers are delicious (I always get the spinach and artichoke dip), the entrees are amazing (the braised short ribs is a MUST), and the desserts are heavenly (cannolis and gelato are epic). I ve been multiple times and never once had a bad meal. Wait staff is always pleasant as well and helps provide a wonderful atmosphere while eating delicious food. Parking: There is limited parking outside of the restaurant. However, there are free parking lots very close by so parking is rarely an issue.
