I had never used a lawyer before, and was going through divorce after almost two decades in the relationship. Mark balanced patience and urgency with me during a deeply challenging time. He handled my divorce and custody terms with incredible pragmatism. My emotions were all over the place! When discussing specific options, he was awesome at keeping my mind focused on what I needed in the decree and how to manage going forward. There were a number of more complex terms, and he was intentional in explaining things to me as well as how the language works in these documents. Mark was always responsive, prompt and engaged when we communicated. He had a manner of both literal thinking and compassion, which is a rare mix. I still have his voice in my head sometimes when I lose track, and it has been a few years since my divorce. Hey Mark, thanks for keeping a cool head through my hot mess of a divorce!

Mark helped me through a very trying divorce. With his guidance, I was able to navigate through the decisions that I was unsure how to make. He was very blunt with me but in a way that showed me the consequences for all of my decisions. I appreciated that alot. He was prompt in returning correspondence with me and opposing council. From the moment I met Mark I knew he was the right person for my case. I had my initial consultation with him and from that meeting it was a no brainer. This was my third time going through a custody case and by far and away Mark was the best lawyer I have used. As we discussed my situation, Mark took great notes, asked me pertinent questions, and began formulating a strategy for my case. I appreciated his honesty and his professionalism from the first meeting all the way to the conclusion of my case. I was never out of the loop and he handled my case exceptionally from day 1. He came up with a game plan and acted swiftly and decisively and was very honest in his approach. I always knew what the next step was and what was expected of me as his client, and he communicated his own expectations of himself to me. For me, experience matters and you could tell how versed Mark is in these matters as he has been practicing for a long time. He was more than fair with his fees, and I feel like he didn t nickel & dime me for charges. Anything I needed he was always very responsive and through. I not only consider Mark my lawyer, but also my friend. The options he gave me from the start till the finish were always good and on target. There were times I would have ideas about how I thought a certain situation should be handled and he would take the time to walk me through the different ways to handle it, and we would discuss the best way. I have had the pleasure of being represented by Mr. Wewers over the last 3 years in my divorce. He has been the most professional and knowledgeable attorney I have met in years and has never failed to keep me informed or give me bad advice. He knows the legal system and what the best way to go is. If you listen to him he wont steer you wrong and he will tell you almost exactly what will happen and how. Without a doubt he will fight for you and he can be a real pitbull making sure your rights are protected and that no one trys to take advantage of you by explaining everything to you until you truly understand whats going on. I cannot say enough good things about Mark Wewers. He is the guy that you never hope that you will need, but are incredibly thankful for when you do. I was a stay-at-home mom that didnt know anything about the whole divorce process and honestly, was terrified. Mark walked me through everything and while kind, didnt sugarcoat anything. I needed to know exactly where I stood and he made sure that I understood the entire process. He is aggressive but he isnt a snake. LIFE CHANGER !!! Seven long years of an expensive and litigious custody battle brought to an abrupt halt by none other than Mr. Wewars. This is the second time I used Mark for family law issues. The first time he was used when I went through my divorce 3 years ago. Mark is a very attentive, compassionate and detail oriented lawyer. He listens to your situation in full, gathers the details he needs to get you the results you want. He has great advice as well. The second time I used him was to change the custody we set in place 3 years prior. We were going from 50/50 to standard custody and was worried we might have a little bit of a battle on our hands. As we progressed through this, he continued to coach me when I wrote emails to make sure I got the exact answers he needed to move forward. He is very wise in family law. Both times I used him, the outcome has been exactly what I hoped to be. I plan on will continue to use him for any and all my family law needs.
