Im sad. I looked online before I came and saw chicken and waffles so I ordered it. When it came to me it was two chicken strips. The picture shows a chicken breast. I know a lot of people love this place but for my first time here Im not impressed and it was bland. In my opinion of course. One server running the whole restaurant, shes super woman but never checked on me after she sat my food down.

Been waiting on a simple waffle, egg, and ham breakfast almost an hour now!!! The waitress never even bothered to come and check on us or at least update us on the waiting time. Mind you that when we arrived there was hardly anybody. They finally bring out our 2 waffles and eggs and they are as hard as a rock and cold! We sent it back and decided we no longer wanted to eat here. Asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave and that took another 15 minutes and to top it off the waitress was very rude like it was our fault that their service sucked!! Outrageous service and behavior!! Will never come here again!!

I ve been here several times. Sunday I got breakfast to go and it was not a good experience. I stood at the register to pick it up and pay, the cook picked up my bacon with his bare hands to put it in the box. When I got home with the food I couldn t eat it based on what I witnessed. Don t like making reviews but having a kitchen open to the public makes you wonder about what every restaurant does. In addition, it smelled really bad. I almost walked out but since I ordered it I paid for it even though I couldn t eat it. Just needs some quality control

Horrible service. Servers were so rude, I ve been sitting for 1 hour just ordered two waffles and 1 hot chocolate. I asked them nicely but 2 servers said I didn t know the other one said everybody has to wait 45 mins while the rest of other guests got their food. I will never come back of how they rude they were to customers. Seriously can they just be nice since we have to wait for 1 hour?

I just got out of eye surgery and was ready for a good breakfast and read this place was all that and a bag of chips! We walked in and it kind of reminded me of Waffle House because of the shape of the booths. I like Waffle House. We thought it would be a fun place because theres a dressed skeleton in one of their booths. Not knowing how this place worked, we walked in and waited to be seated. We werent in a hurry or impatient but we waited a bit while the server was visiting with a couple. She was the only server so it was understandable. Finally, a gentleman in the kitchen area (like Waffle House!) told us we could seat ourselves. We chose a booth and visited while we waited for the server. She was continuing to visit with the same couple but we were still okay with it because we were told this was a mom & pop shop and that kind of atmosphere is hard to find these days. Well, another set of customers came in and the server noticed them and decided she needed to get menus for them and thats when she finely noticed us. And from that point on - it was like we were pariah. We never did anything to offend her. We werent put out, we werent rude, we ordered straight off the menu with coffee and water. We asked to put in a to go order and it was like we were asking for a brick of gold. We never got refills. My friend had to go to the register (like Waffle House!) to pay and ask about the to go order because the server never came back to check on us. By that time, we decided it was time to go. It didnt seem we were welcome there. We werent local. But Grapevine is a hotspot for tourists. I cant see how any Grapevine business can afford to alienate customers. It made me sad because I own a business that thrives on making the customer feel valued. Oh well - we went, we conquered, well conquer another establishment next time. This one is off the list.

I came in around noon, peak brunch hour for this place! I was greeted promptly and all my food came out great! My server was awesome and kept coming around to refill my coffee, and I am super excited for leftovers. Only thing was there was a girl by the cash register who kept huffing and puffing about my coupon and rolling her eyes. That was a bit off putting considering she wasn t even the one checking me out and the other was very patient and kind. The manager came to sort the coupon out and was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to try more items!

This is a relatively small restaurant that seems to be just the right size to keep the customers rotated. The exterior is clean and well maintained with just enough parking space. The interior is laid out in a manner that allows freedom of movement for the wait staff. Seating yourself, drink orders are quickly taken and filled. Those glasses stay filled, which is important to us. The menu options are plentiful as is the food that arrives on your plate. Tasty and hunger curing. The restrooms are clean and the staff are good at what they do.

This place didnt have a welcoming feeling at all. I felt like an alien the way people just stared at me upon entering this place. I paid $21 for burnt hash browns, a spoon of eggs, semi decent chicken strips( chicken and waffles.) The waffles were fair. But i wouldnt eat at this place again. Just a very weird experience. This place has a comfortable feel, where they greet you like family. I am a chocoholic and they make a fluffy chocolate belgian waffle that is served with whipped cream, fresh strawberries and a chocolate sauce. Definitely craveable. For those that are undecided, you can also order a half blonde and half chocolate belgian waffle. Delicious. My breakfast also came with eggs and delicious bacon, all at a reasonable price. So I wanted to try something new that Ive never had before and I found this place on Google. The food *chefs kiss* so good. I had strawberries with my waffle and they were fresh and not soggy. So good. Bacon cook perfectly. The coffee ehh so so. (But im.picky about coffee)the lady who helped me Im sorry I dont know her name she has red in her hair. So nice and helpful. the only reason I didnt make it 5 stars was it was kinda dirty. You can tell its a very old building and not taken care of too well. The vents were extremely dirty. There was no wait, the food was good but no worker in this establishment had on a mask, except for one very pleasant young man. There is no sign up that requires mask, which we did not notice until after we left and that made us feel very uneasy, which is also probably why we found a gray hair in my grits. to be fully honest, this is probably the best Waffle shop in the whole of Sharqiyah. I don t really have a good experience with waffle shops or chocolate related restaurants; since I always end up having diarrhea and/or throwing up. BUT this restaurant is amazing. I immediately felt the place had a cosy unpretentious diner atmosphere. The front service were polite and effortlessly kept the bottomless coffee flowing. I would definitely be one of the regulars there enjoying good comfort food if it was in my neighborhood.
