The service at the bar was phenomenal and the stuffed crust pizza was amazing. We really wanted to give this place 5 stars but we spent $70 on play cards only to find that half the games we tried to play were broken. We barely spent any of what was on our play cards because we gave up after the 4th game that we tried to play that wasnt working correctly. With all the money we spent here, we could have had 2-3 nights out with drinks at the cidercade. My advice to anyone, Skip Main event if youre looking to play arcade games. Go to the cidercade instead. Its much cheaper and they actually service their games there.

Nice entertainment center. I guve it 5 stars! Lots of games, bowling, food and a bar. Rooms to rent for events. We did the verse immersive. I give it 1 star! We booked 2 sessions each. We didnt realize we would be in 1 room with multiple people. This was not vr. You can see through the screen on your headset, yet, we had people running into us and children on the floor. In a near dark room while your looking at the lights in your screen. And it was like a game where you try to get the most points. We made it through the first show and left half way through the second. The headset gave me a headache and the batteries died twice on my friends headset. We thought it was a waste of money. We had looked forward to seeing outer space and plants. Disappointing!

Went for the total emersion experience and was disapointed. The side door was left open so noise from bowling cut into the voice audio on my headset then the headset glitched and I had to start over. Its a wonderful idea but poorly executed. The solorsystem was the best one.

Sat and ate at the bar and the manager and servers clearly did not like that. After the third time of someone asking us if we were done with our half eaten fries I just said yes to get them to leave us alone it was very clear that that we all were still munching on them but just as clear that they didn t want us to eat there. Every other experience here has been at least decent and the bowling is good, a little on the expensive side but decent overall.

The managers Tiana and courtany went above and beyond for our group of over 20 visiting town for a flag football tournament. The staff was incredible. Edit- 7/17/24 They told me to fill out a form and I would be contacted. It s been two weeks and no contact. I wouldn t hold a party here. Came for daughter s birthday party. The contract stated $16.99 per kid but they tried to charge us $17.99. They then said they randomly took off $10 on a receipt we couldn t see to adjust price. Why not just charge the correct amount? Then there was also a $28 service fee to use the table. If we had booked 2 activities it would have only been $4 more for that party package, but they wanted to charge us $10 more day of event. The party timeline had an hour dedicated to eating and cake. Way too much time. I think it s because the laser tag is only 10 minutes and the game card was used in about 10 minutes as well. I wouldn t recommend their official party package. Better just to do it on your own.

Purchased tickets to the 3 experience verse immersive on 6/20/2024 for a neat experience for my kiddo during our weekend stay in Dallas. We show up, and the attendant is talking with someone, so we wait. When she did acknowledge us, she told us the verse immersive was not available due to technical difficulties and basically shrugged her shoulders. When I asked what I was supposed to do about getting a refund, she said go to the website you bought them from, super dismissive. Soooo I asked for the manager, who is the only reason Im giving them 3 stars. As he is asking for my information to make sure I get refunded for my purchase, my 8 year old was almost in tears, so with everything, he gave us some bowling, and that helped cheer her up and was super kind of him. Then, while bowling, we were at the top of our 2nd game when I finally went to get us drinks and food, no biggie. A gentleman stops me and takes my order. He explained he was going between us and the bar, no problem. We had less than 10 minutes left to play of our final game when our pizza showed up, but no drinks so had to ask again, he called someone else over and asked if they got our drinks at which point I just went back to finish the last turn of our 3rd game. The arcade was nice, lots of games, bowling was fun, my kiddo said the pizza was the best ever, and the manager had an above and well beyond customer service approach. Thanks to him, my kiddo still got to have fun.

The woman that served me, my wife, and my daughter today was so incredibly courteous, kind, understanding, and accommodating to me and my family this evening at around 7 PM. I am so bad with names, but I have recently finished cancer treatment and she was so accommodating towards my requests and an extremely compassionate person. This is the best customer service experience that I have ever had and I will be taking my family to this location from now on into the future. To the woman who served us: you rock, you are fantastic at your job, and you are the reason why I will exclusively go to Main Event from now on. I came to Main Event accompanied by two children. What a great time we had bowling and having some really good snacks! The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, as was the huge serving of pretzel sticks, and we had refillable drinks. What made our truly wonderful was the exceptional customer service provided by employees Katelin and Gabby. Both employees were super friendly and very attentive. We got season passes and Katelin helped us get everything squared away with registration, set up for bowling and took our food order. Gabby brought our food and kept our drinks filled. Both employees checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and were having a great time. Solid 10/10 experience! Highly recommend!

If I could rate this a 10 I would. I have to give a shout out to Steve. My husband and I were with my 1 year old and my family and he was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure not only WE had a good time, but my daughter too. He was helpful in every direction needed. The front desk was also extremely sweet. I had messed up how many people we needed to pay for and lanes we need but they didn t hesitate to work with me and made me feel less like a dummy! lol. My grandsons did one of the augmented reality games Verse called Astro Arena. In the advertisement it shows that this is 30 minutes. In reality its only about 10 minutes. And you still only get one, so thats 27 dollars for 10 minutes when you are expecting 30 minutes. When I asked a manager about the time discrepancy, he acknowledged that he was aware that the games only run a portion of the advertised times and was actually surprised that the interactive games were working. In fairness, the other programs that Verse runs are fairly entertaining, and worth the trip. The card kiosks for the cards do not work well. Two of them were non-responsive. They have a room to redeem tokens that was largely unattended. When I asked one of the employees for help, he basically snatched the card out of my hand and walked away without a word to help my grandson. So, other than a misleading description of the Astro Arena and the indifference of some of the employees, we did, for the most part, enjoy the trip.

The Grapevine Main Event is the best Main Event in north Texas. From the friendly smile when you walk in the door to the server that takes care of you with fresh drinks and food when youre bowling. I booked a party here for my church for 4/19 and the entire experience was lovely. We had about 25 adults and children and not one person walked away dissatisfied. From the initial conversation with the Sales team member Nichole, to the promptness of the food, to the cheerful attitude of the entire staff, there was nothing left they couldve done to make the experience as amazing as it was. I would like to give a special shout out to the manager Steve or as he was affectionately known: Hutch. He made sure to check in with us about every half hour to make sure everything was going smoothly and even went the extra mile to make sure our experience was as enjoyable as possible. Even so much that he found the logo to our church and put it on the screens at the bowling lanes. It was a nice touch that made the experience feel very personal.

This is a family place. You can have fun but when you go more than 3 or 4 times the charm is broken. Has plenty of parking, at night is well illuminated. Had been here to celebrate a birthday. The booking process was seamless for a group of 10 , we did the 3 hour unlimited pass + laser tag and included the VR games too. The hostess was amazing and the service spot on. They did manage the kids and their expectations well, the we had brought our cake and the hostess did help with setting up , cleaning and managing the group. The space was clean, games had variety including the normal arcade games and some new ones. Kids had a lot of fun. Tried some food at their small resto bar. Food was ok, service top notch. A will come again place.

Me and my family went up there today and we got in trouble by a manager named Valerie about hitting my child in the bathroom and I was not hitting her I was disciplining her because I am her mother she was very out of line and disrespectful towards me and my family I will be calling the Gm tomorrow and filing a complaint and will no longer have my business so please if you have little kids do not go to this location or the staff will be very rude and disrespectful when you are trying to discipline your children

I received the wrong order and was told I would receive a refund, it s been over 2 weeks and no refund! when I called I keep getting the run around from the employees saying I need to call back and speak to Brian as he s the only one that can help me. But today I called again and Nicole took the time to get my information and stated she will take my issue to the general manager personally. I ve called more than once and no one other than Nicole even took my information they just told me I needed to call back I m a retired manager of 30 years and Nicole did an excellent job and I want to make sure that management knows she s the only one that took me serious and took action. Great job to Nicole in sales You really need more caring employees like Nicole Great job Nicole I visited the this location this week and I spoke to Brian , what an outstanding young man he is. So professional and took care of my problem ASAP! This is a great place to visit for sure! Management is outstanding!!! I came here for Verse Immersive. I cant say that I recommend it. The overall quality is honestly subpar. Graphics are meh. The staff was unaccommodating and seemed to generally dislike his job. I had a group with me and we did the package deal to try out all three experiences. The hardware was buggy. The storytelling was not great. Youll get more out of a trip to a science museum or a walk at the park. If you have ever used VR (which I know is not the same thing as AR which is used here) then I would say you can safely skip this experience or find a friend and use their headset.

Spent a couple hundred bucks at my last visit with my kid. Either Texas have a serious race issue, or they are plain ignorant. We were given our lane but never got tended to until 40mins AFTER I had to go ask for help. We thought it was a lack of staff, but when a white family came in right next to our lane, they were sent a waiter within 5 minutes, and their order was out in 10mins. I had to then go and check on the order it was sitting waiting for someone to pick it up. I shook my head and grabbed my hot beer and my moms horrible pina colada. Like you cant even get the drink order right. Yikes! On top of all that, no one came to even get the check! I had to call in and pay. Theyre lucky my mom raised me right. All that disrespect I should not have called them to remind them that they never came for their money. Main event, youre a joke! Should be ashamed of yourself. #lane24 Never supporting your business again.

Main Event gives deals, right? WRONG!!!!!! Bate and switch. They tell you that it s unlimited games and bowling for one price, but when you actually show up, they tell you that you have to wait for almost 2 hours while they are cleaning . It never looked cleaner. It never takes 2 hours to put balls away and tidy a lane. I worked at an alley. Several lanes were available while employees were standing around or talking. Terrible management.
