Waited almost 20 minutes for service. Let staff know that we were there. Seemed like maybe only one person working the patio. We got up and left. Walked to their competitor Boomer Jack s next door and got service immediately. I don t know if Flips is good or not and now I ll never know as I will never go back. They didn t want to provide service. I don t want to give them my money.

Its been a while, but this day was perfect; it was on our way. The exterior appears just as attractive and current in style as when they first opened. It also appears to have been well maintained. Walking in, we had to wait a short while to be seated, but it was a short wait. Once seated our drink orders were taken and filled, and our orders taken. The interior of the restaurant still has its appeal, but the seating could use some attention (the booth benches need fresh cover for rips and tears). The restrooms were clean and in good condition. We received the order in a reasonable amount of time; the food arrived, each item at its proper, expected temperature. They have a wonderful menu of fantastic food. We will always be back.

Oh my goodness!! First off, this was a place we picked based on pictures and reddit. My bf brought me to check out Witchita Falls for potential moving area in the near future and then, came down here in passing to head to Austin. WELL, this place did not disappoint. On Reddit they said to get The Texas Burger and IT WAS SO FREAKEN GOOD!! I even asked the waitress if she could tell the chef if he could saute a cut up jalapeno because I like spicy. That burger was SO GOOD!!!!!! The fries were good, the sauteed jalapeño was spicy and we both loved every bite! Thank you for dinner! It was all super great!! Thank you to the cook, the waitress and the music was also great!! Would definitely come again if we lived near by.

While visiting Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine Texas and of course we love trying to local cuisine that isn t available to us at home in Houston. On this night we were recommended by a local to try out Flips. I ordered the Border Burger , my wife ordered the Flip Cheeseburger, my children ordered the Flip Cheeseburger , boneless wings & tots and a child s chicken strip dinner. The food was hot, fresh, and VERY tasty. My children who are picky eaters definitely enjoyed their food and the drinks were cold and we never had to ask for a refill because our waiter Noah was on point. The next time we are in town Flips will definitely be a stop to make. The only complaint we had was the faint smell of smoke (because this establishment does allow smoking) but it wasn t enough to kill our experience.

I really liked this place. I went here several times over 2 weeks and I can say all the food I had was very good and at a good value. The indoor bar is smoking only, but there is indoor seating that is not. Also, the outdoor bar has misters that can keep you decently cooled, even in summer. The southwestern chicken and flat iron steak were my favorite. The food is good!

When I say a GOOD TIME! Thats exactly what I mean... there service was absolutely amazing. And the jalapeños wrapped in bacon and Mac and cheese with bacon was the best thing on the menu. Hands down, a must-have to start and ask for jalapeño ranch! The pickles could have been fried harder. But they were acceptable. I absolutely loved the fried mushrooms. I would not get the nachos again for a second time. Because I felt like there were too many nachos chips and not enough Toppings. So that was not a favorite of mine. The porkchop was cooked to perfect .... sides where ok!

You would think having a Direct competitor right down the street would encourage one to up their game. But Flips seems to have just given up Cowboys style. Food is ok and Atmosphere has not changed. Why would you ask if we want gravy on chicken fried steak in the first place? That is a given. Who doesn t serve gravy on mashed potatoes? It says a lot when the Texas toast is better than the mashed potatoes. Salads should come out before, not with the food.

Flips Patio Grill, was recommended by a family member. When you enter the main door a sign guides you to seat yourself. You can also, access the Patio area from the outside or from the inside by walking through the inside seating or bar area. Dogs are welcomed. The menu was impressive, lots of choices for all ages. Here is my email. And my explanation as to why I just had an awful experience. I just tried to eat at the establishment here in Grapevine. I had your manager on duty pull me to the side and tell me that it has been a long time since Ive been there but I am banned. I have never been inside that restaurant before in my life and I looked at her I said I assure you Ive never been here but Im more than happy to leave. If this is gonna be a problem I dont know who you think I am, but I have never in my life been here. she proceeds to roll her eyes at me and say well My bartender just confirmed that thats you and then asked me for my name to which I gave her my name and I then repeated to her. I have never been here before so I dont know what your bartender is confirming. That led to her saying well apparently I had said nasty things to a general manager that works there that I have never met before and that they would serve me this time but they might take legal or further actions once the manager or general manager got there as if they were going to charge me with a crime that I didnt commit they didnt even know my name they couldnt give me the name of the person they were looking for and I literally just came in because it looks like a cool place from the highway ... I even offered as much to walk her out to my car because if she knew it the persons car that they think that I look like looks like they can possibly tell from my license plate I dont know I dont appreciate the way that I was treated. I am a 25 almost 26-year-old woman that owns my own company. I am autistic and, I was so upset that I just finished my drink and left immediately. I just wanted to sit down and do my schoolwork but I left with nothing but a bad taste in my mouth and not only the bartender, but your manager that was wearing the blue shirt being discriminatory, and honestly very disrespectful to somebody with an invisible illness they may not know that, but they definitely made an assumption of who I was and I paid the price for that.I will be in contact with some of my friends about my next actions to take, because I am absolutely appalled at the way that I was treated and I do not believe that anyone else should have to go through that. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else. We were there for a half an hour before we received drinks. When I asked about our appetizer the waiter said you see your ticket in the window don t you? We told the waiter we had somewhere to be and if we could go ahead and get our checks before our food came out. We finished eating before we got the checks, and even that was slow service. I got a notification that my card was charged but I didn t receive the check to sign until 20 minutes later. I understand being busy but this was just poor service around. The same place the waiter told me to look at our ticket is the same place I noticed that our food was ready and sitting there getting cold for a good 30 minutes. We didn t want to spend this much at the establishment but it did feel like we were being held hostage after awhile.

First time here and man you got some rude bartenders. You had 3 bartenders yesterday a tall gal and a guy and another short gal who seemed to be the runner for both. These 2 guys running the bar are not friendly, they will just talk and I kept trying to get their attention to get another drink. Finally the guy came and I asked him for my drink and before I ask him to bring my friend a drink he takes off and I had to call him back and he ignored. I told the short gal to tell him about the drink. You had a nice place with cool vibes but these 2 rude bartenders with the big frowns on their faces ruined the whole thing. We chose the patio because the weather and set up was amazing. It took about 15 minutes before someone even greeted our table, for starters. I had the salmon with rice pilaf and chose corn instead of the broccoli it came with. The salmon was topped this brown gravy looking sauce with sesame seeds on it, it tasted SUPER SALTY, couldn t taste the salmon over the extreme salt taste. I had to scrape the salty gravy off to actually taste the what turned out to be a bland no flavored salmon. My two adult kids and wife didn t like their food either. We come to the conclusion that whoever the current cook was, didn t have any seasoning experience in preparing food. It s a real shame because we noticed this beautiful outdoor seating setup from the interstate and decided to try it. But we won t be back. It wasn t even busy for a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, but after experiencing the poor service and awful tasting food, we knew why. I hope the owners come to their senses and correct this problem, because the location is superb and potential for making some serious dough is here.

This place was the perfect finish to a great night out with friends. Excellent burgers cooked to perfection and smelled amazing, and generous side salad which caught the attention of tablemates. Lets start with all the positives. Ordered the Carnivore burger and blu-queso burgers. They had so much flavor. Very tasty. Our server was very responsive and understanding. He made sure he kept our drinks full and continued to check on us, even though we had moved. This is not a negative as much as it caught us off guard. Smoking is allowed in the bar area. There are ash trays sitting right on the table. So we blame no one, but ourselves. That said, we were all good until someone started smoking, so we picked up and told our server we were moving. He completely understood. But this place really has tasty food and recommend it.

Go to daytime chill patio spot. Great place to catch a game. Great drink specials. They keep it simple and do things right. They even have a simple little brunch menu on the weekends. Great place to hang out with the dogs. Friendly people. Patio has abundance of gas heat and water mist so it s as comfortable as Texas can get.

If youre a smoker you will absolutely love this place! Glass-enclosed smoking area bar. Of course non-smoking area as well and on cooler evenings a wonderful outdoor patio with big screen TVs all around! Food

First time trying Flips. Husband and I really enjoyed the food! He had Nachos and I had some BBQ chicken and both were yummy! The strawberry margarita was delicious too! We will definitely be back next time we are in that area!!

Smoking is allowed. Patio is available. Food was great! Service was quick at 1:30pm middle of week. There is a Fort Worth location if you are opposed to smoking in restaurants. Had their burger of the month. I will be back for happy hour sometime! They have Blantons
